Finally I added a little outro with my name, the project name and the song name in a nice font that I thought suited my piece. I put the text into 3d space and keyframed the orientation

I thought the ending was a bit boring so I added a rectangle that scales in and duplicated the hills footage and masked out the rectangle on the top layer so that inside the rectangle it stays the same, on the original hills layer I added tritone to make it go black and white. This rectangle eventually grows so that it doesnt show any more and this is when the scene changes to night time so It makes for a nice transition

To create this scene I just used lots of shape layers to create the scenary and keyframed the mask path of the layers so that they were tiny shapes or out of the scene at the start and eased the keframes to make it smooth. I then made an adjustment layer with some colour correction effects that made the scene look sort of like night time and I keyframed the opacity of it. At the end of this scene I cut most of the layers and reversed them so that they went out exactly how they came into the scene.

I then keyframed the position of the triangles so they would all fly off the screen and duplicated the composition a few times and offset it and changed the fill colour so that there would 3 times as many triangles

I created all the different triangles by duplicating lots of triangles and keyframing their positions, I made them change colour by keyframing a fill on a duplicated layer of the triangle. I then duplicated this composition and flipped it so that the triangles came in from both sides. I then added a transform above the original triangle and keyframed the scale of it so it started off normal size then shrunk to the same size as the other triangles. I also added warp on an adjustment layer to give the triangle momentum when it shrunk

I thought it would be a cool transition to have the rocket crash into the next shape layer although I thought it would take ages to create a motion graphics explosion and I was running low on time so I just used a greenscreened explosion from youtube although I did add a few effects to make it better composited into the scene, i added cartoon, gaussian blur and glow

In the first image I merge the two squares into eachother, I then transformed the merged square into the nose of the spaceship and added the wings and back components using simple shape layers and bulges, I made the lines on the nose of the spaceship with long rectangles and just keyframed the rotation and scaled them from 0 to their size. I then created smoke to come out of the bottom of the spaceship by creating a shape layer and making lots of small circle masks, I then rotated this layer and duplicated it, offset it and put it next to it so that there was two of them. For the sky, I created lots of star shaped layers, changed the colours and then created a huge composition and duplicated the stars layer lots of times. I then just keyframed the position of the spaceship composition

I then copied the stairs and reversed it, made a few duplicates, spaced them out and changed the fill colour to give it a colourful trail

for this part I made a 2d square and put it into 3d space, I then made it rotate so that it folded outwards, I duplicated this and rotated it so that it did the same thing on the other side of the dissolving square, I then used this same rotated square to create a dissolving staircase effect

I wanted the square to dissolve in a similar way to how it came into the scene, I thought I would do this by using the same masks and doing the alpha inverted, the rectangles get closer and closer together at the end so that there is nothing there

so I wanted a square to scale down to its size and to have the rectangles within it, so I created a matte of the square and made it so the rectangles would only show through the matte of the square and keyframed the opacity so that they fade in and out

I had an idea for a transition from the explosion of shapes, I thought that lots of squares and rectangles flying across the screen could look good so I created lots of random 4 sided shapes and keyframed their position so they move across the screen

I then duplicated the shapes layer and added cc mr mercury to get a displaced effect but whilst still keeping the same explosion motion from the shapes layer, I then added echo to create a stronger effect because it was a bit boring without the echo

I created all these shapes simply by creating one shape, keyframing the position and duplicating the layer, changing the colour and changing the positions, finally I add colour balance hls over the top and change the hue so that the colours are varied a bit

I had an idea of having lots of circles explode out of the circle and I thought it would be interesting to show the inside of the circle inside a sort of wave. So I did this by masking a wave through the circle and keyframing it and inverting it so that it only shows what is on either side of the mask. I used another version of the original circle and added a block dissolve to it so that it shows what is underneath the layer through the lines

I thought a trail between the two sides of the circle would look pretty good so I created a shape layer and made a path from each side of the semi-circle and one in the middle, I then added turbulent displace and cc mr mercury to make the trails look like liquid

I have added cc twister on an adjustment layer so that on the main beat the circle twists round and also changes the tint of red because there is also a fill on an adjustment layer
