Reow! Euow! (Do NOT give your cat large quantities of anything heavily seasoned with things like pepper or the like. It can cause digestive properties and generally we don't like it. If you want to give your cat a special meal, might I suggest looking up cat safe recipes? One I found involves decorating a tin of wet cat food like a cake with unseasoned tofu, boiled potatoes, and a little bit of cooked fish. If your cat has a calcium deficiency, a small amount of crushed/powdered egg shells can help. Be sure to cook them before crushing if you're worried about bacteria!)

Meow! (Adopt! Don't shop! Lots of lovely feline friends and more are looking for a home. And even then, if you cannot commit to a tiny friend for whatever reason, I implore anyone who can to volunteer at their local shelter, foster, or donate to the shelter. Some places even hold events. Though, I'm not sure how common that is now, get involved! Maybe you could help with animal photography!)

meow reow! murr... (For cats, claws are very important. However, if your cat does not scratch against a post or tree, it's important to check their nails. Often if cats are complacent, their claws can grow and curl back into their "bean toes" and it's not comfortable! Trim them regularly for both your cat's safety and you as a person. I know we can get feisty and we'd hate to hurt our bipedal or otherwise friends. Just make sure to look carefully. You may accidentally cut what is known as the quick of our claws. If you do so, soothe your cat and take care of any blood that comes from the resulting injury. It's minor, but it still hurts like a... sigh. It hurts like, as the bipedal youths say, a butt cheek on a stick.)

Osha cat is having your claws untrimmed an osha violation? Like I’m not asking for you to be declawed I’m not insane but like surely it’s a violation bc you might accidentally scratch someone?
Mrrr... Meow? (I don't remember if OSHA specifically has any regulations on nails, but I know the CDC recommends you keep nails short so I'm also applying it to myself. I do think that it might be a hazard if you don't take care of your claws, but I think this is possibly just a personal thing? A cat's front claws retract after all so if a cat scratches, you've done something to agitate them. The back claws.. Well, I don't think you have much chance to be scratched by those unless they're climbing all over you. I personally go by the rule if my work might be impeded or people around me might be affected by my nail length even when my claws are retracted, it might be time for a trim.)
