📢 Help Rebuild Our Lives: A Family's Fight for Survival in Gaza❗🚨
🚨Urgent 😟👇🇵🇸🚨
Hello everyone!!
My name is Lena Khames, a 27-year-old wife to my husband, Mohammed, and a proud mother of three beautiful children: our daughter Yasmmen and our two sons, Ali and Adam.
We come from Al-Zahraa in the Gaza Strip. I have a diploma in e-commerce, but our once stable and hopeful life has been shattered by the devastation of war, leaving us struggling to rebuild.

youtube
Our world collapsed when a missile targeted our home, reducing it to rubble in an instant 💔. The home we had built with $40,000, a place where we had hoped to raise our children in peace, was completely destroyed. We have been left homeless, with nothing but memories of what we once had.

Our family has been forced to move repeatedly 💔due to the conflict. After being displaced from our home by military force to a supposedly "safe" area, we quickly learned there is no safe place in Gaza. Each time the danger intensified, we had to flee again, struggling to protect our children from the violence that surrounded us. Today, we live in a tent under unbearable conditions, without even the most basic necessities.

In one of the many attacks, my husband, already suffering from a previous injury, was seriously wounded in his leg 💔. He now requires continuous medical care and a special device to help him walk again. To make matters worse, my husband lost his brother Mahmoud in the conflict—his brother died in his arms while they were inspecting the ruins of our home. The emotional and physical pain has weighed heavily on him, and on all of us.
Adding to our burden, my husband also lost his car—the sole source of income for our family— 💔 which had cost him $20,000. This loss has left us without any means of financial support, making it nearly impossible to care for our children and ensure their safety.

How Your Donation Will Help Us 🙏:
We are seeking to raise €100,000 to help secure a temporary place for our family, as we are currently living in a tent and our children desperately need a safe and stable environment. The funds will also allow us to begin rebuilding our home, which was destroyed, and restore the stability and hope we once had. Additionally, we need urgent financial support for my husband’s medical treatment and travel to find safety and proper care, as we try to escape the ongoing nightmare of war and genocide that we are forced to endure.

Please share, like and donate this campaign with your friends, family and colleagues to help us achieve our goals. I would appreciate your assistance. Any amount, even if small, will make a difference in providing assistance to my family in our hour of need.
Thank you for taking the time to read this message and consider making a difference in the lives of those affected by the ongoing crisis in Gaza
With gratitude,
Lina & Her Family

Making a seperate post for Rana
@rana-alhaj reached out to me last week asking for help to promote her GFM.
Rana is just 18 and dreams of being a nurse, however the war on Gaza has interrupted her education. Currently, she is looking after her mother and her sisters as her father was tragically martyred during this war.
Her campaign is also verified as found on @gazavetters

Her GFM can be found here:
Currently she has $710/$30K raised - can you help her?

I don’t think I’ll come back here again soon, and I’m not really on any social media aside from just lurking around. A lot of stuff has happened over the last like. Over half a year I think. Latter half of 2024 was just kind of a shitshow. Found out my grandmother had cancer in July and then lost her in September. Lost my rabbits Max and Didi.
Two separate times I thought I wouldn’t have a place to live but I still live in the same place I have. My new landlord hasn’t really worked out how/when I’m supposed to pay rent so I just sit around feeling anxious about it. And bills are ever present.
Somewhere in July, I was given my rabbit Hazel. Then after I lost Didi in late November (shortly after Max) I picked up my rabbit, Soup.
Before I lost Max, I played Veilguard and I loved it, I wanted to do another play but I lost Max and I haven’t felt like doing anything Fun since then.
This is all kind of jumbled. Which doesn’t matter. Mostly just talking.

This helps me make long-term changes!
It's not uncommon to "wake up" every once in a while and realize we've fallen off track - got too busy to do the goals for exercise, sleep, social gatherings, etc we've set previously.
While it's difficult sometimes, I try to get some clarity. Find *some way* to get to a more relaxed state where I can breathe a bit better (metaphorically but also perhaps literally), and THEN my brain starts giving me better ideas.
Just sharing some thoughts.

Haven’t been here in a real long time I feel!
I want to say everything just seems to have worked out for me atm but I think that kind of minimizes how much work I’ve put in to make my life better and put me in a better place.
It’s been over a year on T, my rabbits are now 3, my oldest cat is 2, and my youngest is 1. I work with animals in a vet setting as my job and I volunteer for a zoo (I would work there again I love it there they just don’t pay enough and aren’t open all year.)
Every day isn’t perfect and I’m not happy constantly but overall I’m happy with how things are going. I’m going my best to work towards my goals and being open to them changing.
Right now I’m working on figuring out if going back to school or getting top surgery is most important, I can’t do both at once and both feel almost equally important. They’re both kind of. steps towards what would make me feel most whole.
There’s no real point in this post I guess? Kind of an update on what’s been going on for me, tumblr isn’t something I use much anymore.

parents are so crazy because they can say the most fucked up shit to you when your brain is forming and it sets the tone for your whole adult mind set and then they forget about it the next day
