When i saw these absolutely gorgeous eye defaults @profesionalpartyguest did i knew i had to resclera them on alfred askew's sclera and recolour them!!! I did the colour actions myself and will probably share them later :)

This is my little project; recolouring clay hairs in pooklet colours! These are shiney but they still look maxis match enough to me so they can be used in either style imo. Right click on the previews to view full sizes. The above previews are organised like the sims2defaultdatabase layout.

This will be updated periodically with more hairs as I finish them.

Some casual gameplay to alleviate my boredom lol. Playing a personal neighborhood focusing on the Summersets who just moved in next door after Allan Summerset (brown hair dude) inherits a huge mansion from his Great-Aunt. Their next door neighbors are the Harrisons who come from old money.

Annalise Harrison immediately strikes up a conversation with Matilda Summerset while Viktor Harrison tries to assert his dominance over Allan Summerset through a game of chess lol. Meanwhile, Robert Harrison has already become infatuated with Evie Summerset.

It took me the entire day to reinstall the game on my new computer, to make all the adjustements for it to work on Windows 11, find the right settings with the Graphic Rules Maker, and… my game loads twice faster from Windows to neighborhood view, then it loads at least TEN TIMES faster to enter a lot, everything runs so smoothly, even in very heavy CC lots and neighborhoods, with all settings at high, Origin downloading the Sims 4 at the same time, talking to my best friend on Discord, recording a video… like… IS THIS HEAVEN ?! I’m about to cry. Tears of joy of course. But still !

I think the next week (or maybe even the next month) will be about enjoying my game and nothing else. I’m so, so, so happy, you can’t even imagine !

MEET THE SHERWOODS

Meet Midge, Alan, and Baby Ryan. The newest residents of Simalibu and one of Barbie’s oldest friends. I’ll probably start with round one of their household soon.

KEN: “Uhh babe? I think here’s someone at the door...”

BARBIE: “Cominggg, wait a sec...”

BARBIE: “Who’s there- MIDGEEE!!??”

MIDGE: “Heya Barbie! Long time no see?”

BARBIE: “Long time? I havent seen you in decades! HAHAHA how have you been? Kennnn, it’s Midge and Allan!”

KEN: “Allan? THE ALLAN? OH MY GOD! How have the both of you been?”

MIDGE: “Well... After that controversial pregnancy we decided to take some time off away from the public eye...”

ALAN: “After our little Ryan was born we decided to move here! When I found out a certain couple was living here too I almost tripped telling Midge the news.”

BARBIE: “Speaking of little ones.... Meet Skip and George, our little angels.”

MIDGE: “YOU HAVE KIDS???”

BARBIE & KEN: ”Uhh... Surprise?~”

MIDGE: Oh how how adorable! We should have brought Ryan with us! We should arrange a play date next time.” 

Oh my god i miss playing with them so muchh, schools sucks and I am glad it’s finally over. I can finally focus on the important things in life lol. The new neighbors were actually some of Barbie and Ken’s old friends, Midge and Alan! Their quaint neighborhood is slowly expanding, how lovely!

Hey lovelies!

I thought I would share my knowledge about tags with you all, because I noticed when this topic comes up, most simmers don’t know what it is about tags on tumblr.

Tumblr allows you to use 30 tags! 

BUT:

The first 5 tags are your best bet

Only the first 5 tags show up in tracked tags

So make the first 5 count! (Like use your creator/artist name)

The first 20 tags are searchable

Only the first 20 tags will cause the post to show up in the tag on your blog.  ( i.e. maxismatchccworld.tumblr.com/tagged/s4cc)

Avoid unnecessery punctuation.

So start with the important tags for tracked tags / search and then add your blog tags like “my edits” or “my cc”.

External Links:

Posts with external links will NOT show up in search
