Some fucking asshole took a pinky-nail-sized chip of paint out of my car door a couple days ago so I looked up Dr. Colorchip.
With how angry I am about a neighbor ruining my car's paint job and not even having the courtesy of leaving a fucking note (but I can easily see on the paint transfer it was a WHITE car), yeah. Yeah, this feels like a pretty solid villain backstory.
Only question is: Will I find out later that Dr. Colorchip is the one who dinged my car? Or will I myself become Dr. Colorchip?

Out of curiousity, what was the first series of Taskmaster that you started watching? For me, it was series 13. I distinctly remember sitting on the floor in the living room watching Bridget, Judi, and Sophie all sing/rap/whistle "House Queens", I was allowed to stay up past my bedtime to watch until the end and it made me so happy.
Idk, series 13 will always be one of my favourites purely because of the happy memories I have from watching it ^^
#series 1 bay-bee#friends at a pre-pandemic monthly lakehouse gathering put it on the tv#we were all immediately hooked

Tangentially related, but one of the wildest complaints I ever heard was almost 10 years ago in university, during an accreditation evaluation. Faculty and the evaluation judges asked in an open forum about the quality of the resources available to students, and one complaint a gal made never ceases to make me feral: "Well, sometimes in the library you have to go to a bunch of different floors for books." The library at my alma mater has 3.8 million volumes, and although that's a drop in the bucket compared to, say, Harvard's 20 million, the fact that there was an online database of all those books is incredibly convenient compared to systems available 10 years earlier. For context, my parents went back to college when I was about 5, in the mid-'90s, and that was when you still had to search through card catalogues. The fact that I could look up/check availability of books in the library based on a keyword search from the comfort of my apartment would have blown my mid-'90s-parents' minds.
I feel so spoiled about how easy it was to get information served to me on a silver platter in college and now information is distilled *for* us???
Not to complain and spit into the winds of change, but eugh, we are spoiled brats when it comes to information.

Asking because I overheard a physical therapist say that she uses this question to see if she wants a second date with a guy, and if he says more than like 4 eggs at once it's a red flag.
