Izumi: (Leo, Trill, and Saku safely infiltrated the FORTF laboratory…)
Leo: It’s a whole exhibition of rare creatures. It feels like we went back in time.
Trill: To be honest, it’s unsettling. Trying to claim something like this for ourselves seems wrong.
Leo: We can’t handle all this on our own. We’d earn the grudges of the entire universe and get hunted down before we can make a profit.
Trill: It’s a shame, but we also can’t just leave like this.
Leo: Of course. Are there any treasure hunters that would return empty-handed from such a treasure trove?
Trill: A foolish question.
Leo: Let’s steal everything and send it back to where it belongs.
Leo: Hey check this out. It’s A12 research records.
Trill: That’s terrible…
Saku: It says that some of the residents escaped by ship.
Leo: Is this referring to your escape pod?
Trill: No, if it were, they wouldn’t call it a ship.
Saku: Could it be that there are other survivors besides me?
FORTF member A: Who’s there?!
Saku: …!
Leo: Let’s run!
Trill: Right.
Leo: Hurry, Saku!
FORTF member B: They went that way!
Trill: They’re persistent!
Leo: Saku! Escape alone. We’ll act as decoys.
Saku: No, I can’t! I can’t be the only one that
Leo: I told you. We’ll steal everything and send it back to where it belongs.
Saku: Huh…?
Leo: We won’t let the treasures, including the A12 survivors fall into their hands.
Trill: Exactly. What kind of treasure hunter comes to steal and
Saku: …!
Leo: Don’t get caught. Survive not just for yourself, but for the people on your planet.
Saku: …Okay. Leo, Trill, makes sure you don’t die either.
--------------------------------------------
Izumi: (As Saku escapes alone, Leo and Trill are caught by FORTF.)
----------------------------------------------
FORTF member B: How did you get in here?
Leo: …
Trill: We found a hole leading inside.
FORTF member C: Don’t mess with me!
Trill: Ugh…
*BOOM*
FORTF member B: What’s that sound?!
FORTF member A: Is there another person?!
Leo: Could it be those guys from earlier?
Trill: No way. They wouldn’t make such a flashy move.
Leo: Anyway, let’s escape while we still can,
Varg: …
Trill: Oh no, we’ve been found!
Ao: We’ve found the captured civilians! We’ll protect you!
Leo: The… Space police?
Suguri: Are you hurt?
FORTF member C: Why is the police—
Varg: You’re under arrest on suspicion of attacking a VIP ship near ARC.
Grimm: Confiscate everything stored here as it’s suspected to be stolen goods. Handle everything with utmost care.
Leo: Did we just get saved… or arrested?
Varg: Thanks to you, we surrounded them smoothly. We appreciate your cooperation.
Trill: Huh?
Varg: We received a report from one of your associates. They said that you were captures by an auction buyer.
Trill: Ah, I see, I see.
Leo: It’s rare to be thanked by the police. Good thing we didn’t steal anything.
Trill: We’re even luckier that we came here without stolen goods.
----------------------------------------------------
Izumi: (After escaping, Saku inputs the coordinates of A12 found in FORTF’s hideout, continuing a lonely journey through space on a small ship…)

Saku: If this data is right, A12 should be around here…
Announcement: Error. Deviated from the route and entering a no-sailing area. Please correct the route.
Saku: Did I really come from a place like this?
*BANG*
Saku: Ugh, not good.
*Alarm*
Announcement: Emergency, oxygen concentration is decreasing. Emergency, oxygen concentration is decreasing.
Saku: …!
--------------------------------------------------
Izumi: (As his consciousness fades, the voices of the ANIMS crew, who sent Saku off, resurface.)
---------------------------------------------------
Rat: Be careful out there, Saku!
Woll: Make sure to eat properly.
Tig: Stay well.
Dan: You’re finally standing on your own feet.
Bat: Don’t get caught again
----------------------------------------------
Izumi: (He recalls the voices of his companions who sent him off with smiles, and the powerful voice of Doug, who passed off the baton, echoed…)
------------------------------------------------
Doug: I’m going to protect what my old man tried to save. Go. You have a responsibility to live.
---------------------------------------------
Saku: I… won’t die. I promised… everyone… and myself…
----------------------------------------------

Baby Saku: Guuuu….
Yasumi: That voice… could it be—
Suzu: For the sprout to bud at a time like this…

Sumire: …Sakura petals.
Yasumi: That must mean you’re Saku… There, there.
Tana: what should we do?
Suzu: Let’s take the child and escape on the ship.
Sumire: But it’s not certain that we’ll be able to get away. Maybe we should hide him somewhere.
Gelb: We can use the ship’s escape pod. If the ship acts as a decoy, we should be able to buy some time. At least we might be able to save this child this way.
Yasumi: Gelb, you’ll help us?
Gelb: It’s the Mother Tree’s will. I can’t help but protect the child.
Suzu: She’s telling us to live.
Tana: …Alright then, I’ll get on the boat.
Sumire: Let’s hurry.
--------------------------------------------
Zen: The care for the newborn Saku connects the hearts of the residents of A12. This is the bond of the Spring Troupe.)
-------------------------------------------
Saku: …! Mother Tree!
Suzu: So you recognize it.
Yasumi: Good. How are you feeling?
Saku: Oh… I saw you all in my dreams.
Suzu: You seem fine.
Sumire: He knows Mother Tree. There’s no doubt about it. It’s him.
Gelb: Saku, you’re alive…
Saku: Do I know you?
Tana: We’re your family, all born from the same mother here on A12. The Mother Tree.
Suzu: That day, the first thing we did was let the newborn you escape. There was no guarantee that we would get away as well.
Suzu: When we came back to retrieve you after escaping, your escape pod had already disappeared.
Yasumi: We’re so glad you’re alive.
Saku: So Mother Tree is still here.
Gelb: About that…

Saku: Huh? … A hologram?
Gelb: All the plants on A12 have been lost.
Saku: That’s…!
Yasumi: Our family will never have anymore new members. You’re the last child of the Mother Tree.
Saku: The place… I was born no longer exists.
Suzu: Nothing lasts forever. That’s why people plant seeds with hopes, dreaming of the time when the sprouts will bloom.
Saku: …What’s this?
Tana: We managed to bring a small number of seeds with us. We don’t know if they’ll take root in lands other than A12, though.
Saku: I want to watch over these seeds too. I’m sure that’s why I came back.
Yasumi: Welcome home.
Suzu: Welcome back, Saku.
Saku: I’m home.
-------------------------------------------------
Izumi: (Those few words are filled with overwhelming emotions… They convey a warm feeling of compassion.)
Izumi: (Saku, who never had a reason to live, finally returned to his home and found his purpose.)
Izumi: (In Saku’s heart, his entire journey ends here. The feelings of joy and relief overflowing. I’m moved by Saku’s emotions.)
Izumi: (Sakuya, you really found it. Your feelings are clearly reaching everyone.)
-----------------------------------------------------
*Audience cheers*
Sakuya: Thank you very much!
Masumi: Thanks
Tsuzuru: Thank you everyone!
Itaru: Thanks!
Citron: Thank You!
Chikage: Thank You!
Tenma: If we don’t come closer, we all won’t be able to fit.
Yuki: It’s so packed up here.
Kazunari: I’m falling! I’m falling!
Misumi: Ahaha, we’re all together!
Muku: This is the first time all 24 of us came on stage together!
Kumon: It’s cramped but fun!
Banri: Thank you very much
Juza: Thank you!
Banri: Hey don’t push me.
Juza: That’s my line.
Sakyo: Don’t fight in such a tight space!
Taichi: There’s a little space over here.
Omi: Let’s move a little closer, too.
Azami: The Autumn Troupe doesn’t have much space to begin with. Everyone here’s too big.
Sakyo: Like you can talk.
Tsumugi: Thank you all very much.
Tasuku: Thank you very much!
Homare: I look forward to your continued support of Mankai Company!
Hisoka: …Thank you.
Azuma: Let’s keep up the good work.
Guy: Thank you

Izumi: (A curtain call will all 24 people… We’ve finally made it this far.)
Izumi: (We fell apart once, but everyone came back.)
Izumi: (It’s finally in full bloom Dad…!)

Izumi: (…Thanks to Marine and Murasaki buying time in the battle, Saku and the STARS team were able to escape from their pursuers.)
---------------------------------------------------
*RING RING*
Orion: I think this eastern gate uses an outdated iris authentication.
Del: We’ll get through that easily. The second gate might be a vein authentication.
Leo: What do you think? Can you decrypt it?
Orion: For now, it seems like we can reuse most of the key parts.
Del: It’s pretty much assembled. Just waiting for the doctor’s calculations.
Orion: Del, I wouldn’t say that we’ve assembled it.
Del: Why not? This much should be enough.
Orion: It’s still incomplete.
Del: Orion, you’re so cautious.
Trill: And how about you, doctor?
Aquila: The path is clear. Just need to convert the calculations into a formula.
Leo: Alright, the rest is up to us. Let’s go, Trill.
Trill: Ok!
Saku: Um, could you take me with you?
Trill: You wanna go?
Leo: If it’s information about A12 you’re after, we’ll find it for you.
Trill: Wouldn’t it be better to wait here? Since you’re being targeted, we can’t provide support.
Saku: If I become a hindrance, you can leave me behind. I want to see everything with my own eyes.
Leo: …Alright.
Trill: Are you serious?
Leo: We wouldn’t have made it this far, if it wasn’t for Saku.
Saku: Thank you!
Trill: I guess it can’t be helped. If things get dangerous, just make a run for it.
Saku: Got it.
---------------------------------------
Kasumi: (In the beginning, Saku was initially just being carried along on a pirate ship, and now has decided to FORTF’s headquarters on his own accord…)
Kasumi: (Sakuya portrays his growth and change of heart so clearly. Perhaps it’s because Sakuya had the determination to set out on a journey in a similar way.)
----------------------------------------
Izumi: (That night, Saku has a dream about A12…)

FORTF member A: Our purpose is to protect and manage rare relic sites for future generations to come. Peacefully surrender all of your rights to it.
Gelb: This is ridiculous. Suddenly showing up and demanding everything.
Sumire: What should we do?
Tana: We have no choice but to drive them away.

Yasumi: If only we could resolve this through negotiation…
Gelb: These people barged in uninvited. Negotiation is impossible.
Suzu: I advise against violence. They’re accustomed to retaliation. It’ll just give them an excuse to attack.
Gelb: So? Do you want us to obediently follow their orders?
Suzu: I never said that.
Yasumi: Calm down, Gelb.

-----------------------------------
Yuzo: (The FORTF invasion… the intensity and tension are palpable. It’s all thanks to the lighting and sound design.)
------------------------------------

Yasumi: This is too much…
FORTF member B: Cease resistance immediately. Further loss of valuable relics is not what we desire.
Gelb: Relic protection? They’ve completely destroyed everything and yet they talk like that.
Sumire: Are we going to fight back?
Tana: We can’t forgive them for this!
Suzu: This planet is done for. We’ll escape using the ship.
Gelb: No, If I’m going to die, it’ll be beside the Mother Tree.
Tana: Me too. I have no intention of surviving by abandoning this planet.
Yasumi: But—
Suzu: They haven’t realized we’re still alive yet. They’ll just deem us as worthless and kill us without hesitation.
Gelb: Better than being experimental subjects.
---------------------------------------------------
Izumi: (It’s a tense conflict scene, but you can feel the love the have for each other. It really shows the Springs Troupe’s idea of family.)
Saku: Ugh…
Saku: Was that… a dream? But why… it felt so nostalgic, and my chest feels tight.
Link: Hey, wake up—Oh you’re already awake. We’re about to depart soon.
Saku: Oh, okay!
Orion: All the keys are inside this. But if you’re in trouble, use this one.
Del: You worry too much. Our keys are perfect.
Aquila: There’s no flaw in my formula. We should be able to eliminate any obstacles in our way.
Trill: If that’s what our doctor says, then we can rest easy.
Aquila: However, formulas and reality are different. Uncertainties are inevitable. If that time comes, rely on your intuition.
Leo: Got it.
Trill: Alright, let’s go.
Leo: Saku, are you ready?
Saku: I’m good to go!
Leo: Let’s go and get that treasure!
Trill: Roger!

Izumi: (The second part of the space performance begins with Saku aboard the treasure hunter’s ship, STARS)

Leo: We’re back.
Orion: Welcome Back. How was it?

Del: There’s no way that junk would sell.
Leo: We sold everything.
Trill: Really?
Orion: At its price?!
Del: But it was just trash!

Aquila: You didn’t deceive them, did you? There’ll be trouble down the line if you did.
Leo: The guy had his reasons. Isn’t that right?
Saku: ...Well, it should be okay since he was on board with it.
Trill: Someone with a reason? Who’s that?
Orion: And who is this guy?
Leo: Come to think of it, what’s your name?
Saku: Oh, my name is Saku.
Leo: This guy seems to be searching for the planet he was born on.
Del: That so?
*RING RING*
Link: …I can’t believe it. It IS real.
Leo: Huh?
Link: I just confirmed it with using the analysis program. This specimen isn’t a replica.
Leo: You’re kidding!
Orion: What’s that?
Del: Is that flower specimen?
Trill: Isn’t that one of the original species?
Aquila: There shouldn’t be many authentic specimens of the original species left. It must be some mistake.
Saku: Apparently, I was put in an escape pod with that specimen when I was a baby.
Saku: I think that specimen might be related to A12 but…
Aquila: A12… Are you talking about the natural monument planet?
Link: Ah! I remember! The ship that was chasing the Pirates earlier! It was the FORTF ship!
Leo: That cult group? Did those pirates really have such a valuable treasure?
Link: Like I said, it’s the specimen!
Leo: I see. Then it was definitely worth it to get on that ship.
Trill: If we use it right, we could lure out FORTF and pinpoint their hideout, couldn’t we?
Orion: They say FORTF collects treasures from all over.
Del: That’s not a bad plan. We can finally get to work.
Aquila: I’m also quite interested in FORTF.
Link: It seems like it’s worth appraising.
Leo: It’s decided then. Saku, you don’t have anywhere else to go, right? Stick with us a bit longer.
Leo: I’m Leo, a treasure hunter. I’m the leader of the team, STARS.
Link: I’m Link, the appraiser.
Orion: I’m Orion, the locksmith, and this is my partner, Del.
Del: Nice to meet ya!
Trill: I’m Trill, and a treasure hunter like Leo.
Leo: And that there is Aquila. He specializes in code decryption.
Aquila: Don’t forget to add doctor to that.
Leo: Excuse me, Doctor Aquila.
Saku: O-oh, nice to meet all of you.
---------------------------------------------
Izumi: (Sakuya, and of course the members of the Summer Troupe who finally got their turn, are all fired up. Their teamwork is truly amazing.)
---------------------------------------------
Hiro: (Tenma appeared in various things like variety shows during his hiatus, but he’s thriving like a fish out of water.)
---------------------------------------------
Izumi: (The STARS plan to auction off the specimen to lure out FORTF…)

Trill: Never thought we’d put it up for auction.
Leo: It’s simple and straightforward. They’ll surely take the bait.
Murasaki: Then would it be okay if you told us where you got that specimen?
Leo: …We picked it up from some pirate ship.
Murasaki: I don’t think something like this should be used for profit.
Marine: …Who’s the owner?
Leo: That’d be me.
Marine: We’re looking for the real owner.
Trill: Why?
Murasaki: We have some business with the them.
Leo: …Follow me.
-----------------------------
Leo: Saku, you have some guests.
Murasaki: So you’re the owner of that specimen.
Saku: Ah! You’re the guys who saved me back then...!
Marine: Do you know anything about A12?
Saku: Only that it disappeared.
Marine: A12 was completely wiped out by FORTF’s attack, and you’re the only survivor. They’ve taken away all of its relics.
Saku: That’s...!
Leo: I thought they were just hoarding treasures, but relics from A12? That’s on another level.
Murasaki: Planning on stealing it?
Leo: Of course.
Murasaki: In that case, take this. It’s data from FORTF’s research facility. It should be useful.
Trill: Where did you guys get something like this…?
Leo: Why would you cooperate with us?
Marine: …Although we’ve never met before, you’re very similar to my great-grandfather, Saku.
Saku: Huh?
Murasaki: Marine is a descendant of one of the A12 residents.
Leo: …Is that so? Then we appreciate the data from their research facility.
*BANG*
Leo: What was that?!
Trill: Get down!
FORTF member: Quietly hand over the specimen. It’s not suitable for the likes of you.
Leo: Is there an idiot who’d hand it over when told?
FORTF member: Then we’ll use force to take it.

Saku: Leo! Behind you!
*DODGES*
Marine: Hah! We won’t give it to you guys.
Murasaki: You guys are really persistent, aren’t you?
Leo: Take this! You’re the ones not worthy of treasures!
Trill: Ha! That’sright, back off!
FORTF member: Ugh…! We have no choice, call for back up.
Leo: More of them are coming.
Marine: You three go on ahead. Murasaki and I can handle this.
Trill: Thanks!
Leo: Let’s strike while the irons hot!
Saku: Both of you, be careful!
-----------------------------------------
Murasaki: Marine, is it really okay to trust those treasure hunters?
Marine: They would have taken the specimen by force if they really wanted to.
Murasaki: True. Let’s entrust it to them.
-----------------------------------------
Syu: (Even though they don’t have many lines, their feelings towards Saku and A12 come through. Quite the actors, aren’t they?)

Kagari Amagase
A Valentine's Day, Just For You
It was my first Valentine’s Day since arriving in Kogyoku, and, as per usual, I headed toward Prince Kagari as I carried a batch of dorayaki.
Kagari: “It’s delicious.”
Emma: “Thank you
In one of the guest rooms of the Ruby Castle, Prince Kagari sat quietly, munching away at the dorayaki without a care in the world.
(Watching him eat like that is oddly satisfying.)
Kagari: “But… it’s sweeter than usual.”
Emma: “That’s because I mixed chocolate into the batter today—it’s a chocolate dorayaki.”
Kagari: “You made it yourself, Princess?”
Emma: “Yes. I put a lot of effort into it.”
Kagari: “……”
Prince Kagari paused for a moment and began staring intently at the chocolate dorayaki.
He looked at it from all angles—front, back, and the corners—his emerald eyes scanning every part of the dorayaki.
Emma: “Is something wrong?”
Kagari: “I can see how much thought you put into it, Princess. Is today some kind of special day?”
Emma: “It’s Valentine’s Day.”
Kagari: “…Valentine’s Day?”
(Wait, that reaction…)
Emma: “Does Kogyoku not have a Valentine’s Day tradition?”
Kagari: “I’ve heard of it, but it’s not a big event here.”
Kagari: “At most, people might exchange sweets among their family— but nothing grand.”
(So it’s not a major event here like it is in Rhodolite…)
Emma: “In my country, it’s a day to share sweets with not just family, but close friends and loved ones to express your affection.”
It’s a day to share all forms of love—not just romantic love, but also familial and platonic love.
So the thought of not giving Prince Kagari sweets, after all he’s done for me, never even crossed my mind.
Kagari: “Do you love me?”
Emma: “It’s a bit embarrassing when you put it like that, but I do appreciate everything you’ve done for me.”
Emma: “The dorayaki is my way of saying thank you for everything.”
Kagari: “……I see.”
Kagari: “This is my first time receiving sweets on Valentine’s Day.”
Without changing his expression, Prince Kagari stared at the dorayaki, then resumed munching on it.
His bites were smaller than before—maybe as a sign that he was savoring it.
(If he’s pleased, then I’m happy.)
Munch, munch… the dorayaki steadily disappeared until only one remained in the basket.
Prince Kagari reached for it—but suddenly pulled his hand back and stood up.
Kagari: “Princess, what are your plans for today?”
Emma: “I have the day off.”
Kagari: “I see. Feel free to wander the castle as you like.”
Emma: “Prince Kagari, where are you…?”
Kagari: “I have business to take care of.”
Like a whimsical cat, Prince Kagari casually left the room.
(…I was surprised by how suddenly he left, but I guess that’s just like him.)
What remained in the guest room was the last chocolate dorayaki—and me.
Cat: “Meow…”
Emma: “Huh? Mike No. 1? Hello there.”
Coming in just as Prince Kagari left was a cat he was particularly fond of.
It ambled over to the basket and started scratching at it with its claws.
(Was he drawn in by the smell?)
Emma: “Sorry, this is for Prince Kagari.”
I picked up the basket and placed it inside a cupboard with a door.
(From what Prince Kagari said earlier, I guess it would be okay to spend some free time in the castle.)
Emma: “Mike No.1, since you’re here, want to play with me?”
Cat: “...Meow.”
Emma: “Really? Thank you.”
I petted Mike No.1 as he rubbed against my feet, and he began purring contentedly.
(It would feel lonely to just head home, so maybe I’ll take him up on his offer and stay a little longer.)
While fluffing up Mike No. 1, I lost track of time. Before I knew it, the sun was beginning to set.
………
(I should probably head back soon.)
Mike No. 1, seemingly satisfied, trotted off, and I returned the basket from the cupboard to the table.
(I should probably leave a note for Prince Kagari before heading back. I wonder if there’s something to write with...)
???: “Leaving already, Princess?”
Emma: “…!?”
I jumped at the sudden breath against my ear.
Prince Kagari, who had silently snuck up behind me, walked to the table as if nothing had happened.
Kagari: “That was a nice reaction; though, it would have been even better if you’d noticed me three steps earlier.”
Emma: “W-Welcome back, Prince Kagari. Um… what’s all that?”
Though he had left empty-handed, Prince Kagari arms were now full of paper bags.
As he set them on the table, they lost balance and spilled open.
Emma: “...Sweets?”
Manju, rakugan, nerikiri, sugar candies, mooncakes, sakuramochi—
All kinds of lovely, sakura-shaped treats instantly filled the table with color and charm.
(But no dorayaki? That’s rare…)
Kagari: “They’re all for you, Princess.”
Emma: “Huh?”
Kagari: “…Hm?”
Emma: “You’re giving me sweets…?”
Kagari: “You said that Valentine’s is a day to exchange affection.”
Kagari: “A day for mutual expressions of love… Was I wrong?”
(Wait, could it be… that his “business” earlier was getting me sweets in return?)
Kagari: “I bought everything I thought you’d like.”
Kagari: “Eat as much as you want. Don’t hold back.”
Still stunned, I was guided to the sofa by Prince Kagari.
He sat so close our shoulders brushed, then picked up a sakura-shaped sugar candy with his fingers.
He pressed it gently to my lips, and as I let it touch my tongue, the sweetness spread across my mouth.
Chew.
As I nervously chewed, his long fingers slid across my lips..
Kagari: “How is it?”
Emma: “It’s… delicious.”
Kagari: “Good to hear.”
(…Maybe these sweets are also his way of saying “thank you for everything.”)
All the treats spread across the table felt like they were visibly expressing Prince Kagari’s feelings.
A mix of happiness and a bittersweet emotion I couldn’t quite name began to swell inside me.
Emma: “Thank you.”
Kagari: “Yeah.”
Prince Kagari let go of my lips and reached for the last chocolate dorayaki in the basket.
Then, for some reason, he held it out to me—and waited, mouth slightly open.
(…Is he waiting for me to feed him?)
I tore off a bite-sized piece of the dorayaki and brought it to Prince Kagari’s mouth.
He began to chew—looking even more satisfied than he had been earlier.
Kagari: “Still sweet.”
(The sweets Prince Kagari gave me were sweet too.)
(…Not just the sweets, but everything, even the air, feels sweet somehow…)
His emerald eyes stayed fixed on me. The lingering taste of sugar on my tongue seemed to spread warmth throughout my body.
I averted my gaze and reached for another sakura treat—but the sound of my heartbeat lingered in my ears for a long while after.

Kagari Amagase
Nothing is Impossible For A Fairy Like Me!
Ch 1 | Ch 2 | Ch 3 | Kagari's End: Ch 1 | Ch 2
*TL Note: I’m so sorry in advance if the chain of thank-yous doesn’t make sense… The length of it made my brain hurt.
One day during patrol, I came across a little spirit version of the Princess.
She had been playing with a cat, but when I picked her up, she looked like she was about to cry and thanked me profusely.
When she insisted on repaying me, I had no idea how troublesome that would later become.
At the time, I never would have imagined it.
She flapped her transparent wings frantically, as she stirred a chasen with all her tiny might, finally letting out a soft sigh.
Emma: “Here you go, Prince Kagari.”
Despite being flustered, it seemed she’d somehow managed to finish preparing the matcha.
I took a sip; the refreshing bitterness running smoothly down my throat, perfect for pairing with sweets.
Kagari: “Not bad.”
Emma: “I’ll keep practicing!”
Kagari: “But this level of bitterness suits dorayaki.”
Emma: “Really…?!”
Kagari: “You pass.”
Emma: “Yes!!”
She set the whisk down and flew into the air, literally dancing with joy.
(Her wings are just like a cat's tail…)
The urge to poke them was strong, but I washed it down with another sip of tea.
Kagari: "Are you finally satisfied with your thanks to me after I had thanked you for thanking me when I had thanked you for your thanks to me, Princess?"
Emma: “Yes! I’m just glad you enjoyed it, Prince Kagari.”
Kagari: “Then I must thank you for your thanks to me after I thanked you for thanking me as thanks for when you thanked me.”
Emma: “N-No! I’ve already received more than enough thanks!”
She tried to flee, but I caught her and gently tickled her under her chin with my fingertip.
It seems this little spirit Princess enjoys it; the more I petted her, the more relaxed and defenseless she became.
(This could become addicting.)
Emma: “Ugh... now I’ll have to thank you since you thanked me because I thanked you for thanking me after having thanked you for you thanking me when I thanked you…”
(I should probably stop this cycle before it becomes a habit.)
(Or I might never want to let her go.)
Kagari: “In that case, I have a request.”
Emma: “Leave it to me! There’s nothing a fairy like me can’t do!”
Kagari: “Is that so? How reassuring.”
(…I never thought I’d end up using that at a time like this.)
I pulled the item I’d been carrying and held it out to her.
Emma: “This is…?”
Kagari: “Dorayaki.”
I gently pried open the two halves and revealed a hollow inside.
Emma: “There’s no filling.”
Kagari: “That’s because it’s a dorayaki without filling.”
Emma: “Oh! I see. Did you want sweet red bean paste to go with the matcha?”
Kagari: “You’re half right and half wrong.”
Kagari: “Don’t you think it’s just the right size, Princess?”
I held one half of the dorayaki next to her tiny body.
It was nearly the exact same size as her….Perfect for sandwiching her between them.
Emma: “You’re right. It’s a perfect fit…”
Emma: “…a perfect fit…”
Emma: “Wait… you don’t mean—”
Kagari: “…………”
The very next second, she turned pale and zipped to the far corner of the room in a panic.
(Sharp instincts. A necessary trait for surviving in Kogyoku.)
Emma: “I-I don’t taste good!!”
Kagari: “That so? You always smell sweet though, Princess.”
Emma: “That’s just your imagination! So please don’t come any closer—just calm down…”
Emma: “You’re just kidding, right? Right?! But…your face doesn’t look like you're joking at all…”
Kagari: “…………”
Emma: “WAHH!!”
Just then, she shot straight out of the open window.
(She fled. I guess she’s finally given up on thanking me.)
Once the chatty princess left, the sudden silence pierced my ears.
(It’s always been quiet.)
(It’s always been like this but...)
(Why does it feel so unsettling this time?)
(What is this feeling?)
(Did that little spirit cast some weird spell on me?)
(……)
Before I knew it, I stood up, flinging the window wide open.
I leapt into a nearby tree, scanning the ground from above.
Emma: “Prince Kagari?!”
She hadn’t gone far. In fact, she came fluttering back in a panic.
(Like a moth to a flame.)
Emma: “Are you hurt?!”
Kagari: “Of course not. But more importantly, are you alright?”
As she flew closer, I grabbed her; firmly but gently.
Kagari: “Got you.”
Emma: “W-w-wait, I—!”
Kagari: “Relax. I was joking. I’m not actually going to eat you.”
Emma: “Y-yeah! Of course you wouldn’t!”
Kagari: “And besides, that dorayaki isn’t edible.”
Emma: “…Huh?”
Still holding her with one hand, I reached into my coat and pulled out the very same dorayaki from earlier.
When I set her down on top of it, she let out a surprised gasp.
Emma: “It’s so squishy!”
Kagari: “It’s a non-sellable squishy toy.”
Kagari: “A friend gave it to me to stop me from eating too many dorayaki.”
Emma: “To stop overeating?”
Kagari: “‘Your passion for dorayaki is beyond normal.’ ”
Kagari: “‘If the craving overwhelms you, bite this instead.’ ”
Kagari: “‘Also, the Asbrink family has strict rules about daily sugar intake.’ ”
Kagari: “‘I’ll tell you the details later.’ ”
Kagari: "That’s what he said."
(Though,I forgot the rest of the lecture.)
Emma: “He must have been really worried about you, Prince Kagari…”
It looked like Princess had taken quite the liking to the squishy dorayaki.
She floated up and down, and with fluttering wings, began gently bouncing up and down with her wings..
(She looks happy. That’s good.)
I found myself watching her, completely absorbed.
And strangely enough—I didn’t feel like I’d ever get tired of watching her.
Kagari: “It looks like you’ve become a dorayaki spirit.”
Emma: “Then I must be a fairy made just for Prince Kagari.”
Kagari: “…So you'd stay by my side all the time, huh?”
Emma: “If I’m a dorayaki fairy, then of course I’d want to be with someone who loves dorayaki.”
(……That wouldn’t be so bad.)
(If she were always by my side, things like earlier wouldn’t happen again.)
(If only she could just stay like this, forever…)
My hand instinctively reached out toward the bouncing little spirit.
But I pulled it back before she noticed.
(…Just kidding.)
(Our worlds are too different for that to ever happen.)

Kagari Amagase
Protect Me, Clingy General!
Ch 1 | Ch 2 | Ch 3 | Kagari's End: Ch 1 | Ch 2
—It all started when I was struck with a sudden, unexpected tragedy.
Cat: "Meow..."
Emma: "D-Don’t come any closer...! I don’t taste good, I swear!"
(How did things end up like this...?)
When I woke up this morning, I found my body had shrunk.
Beautiful, shimmering wings had sprouted from my back—like something a fairy might have.
It felt so fun, so exhilarating, so refreshing to fly freely through the air...
But maybe it was my fault for getting carried away and flying outside..
(I want to fly away… but if I made even the slightest move...)
The eyes of a huge cat were watching my every twitch with gleaming curiosity.
Those usually adorable, squishy paws—now, to my tiny self, were deadly weapons.
I could already imagine those sharp claws and soft pads turning me into a plaything.
(Someone... help me!)
???: "You're unusually small today, Princess."
(...!)
Suddenly, someone pinched the back of my collar, lifting me off the ground.
And from this higher point of view, I met the gaze of a pair of large emerald eyes.
Kagari: "You look like some kind of spirit."
Emma: "Prince Kagari..."
Kagari: "Why do you look like you're about to cry?"
Emma: "Thank you... truly, for saving me."
Kagari: "Not sure what’s going on, but you’re welcome."
(With Prince Kagari here, I’ll be safe... I won’t end up as a cat toy.)
Just as I finally breathed a sigh of relief, he began gently poking my wings with a curious finger.
Emma: "Ah—!"
Kagari: "These wings… are they a part of you?"
Emma: "Yes, but—Prince Kagari, that tickles! I’m going to die from laughter, please stop...!"
Kagari: "Do spirits really die from laughing?"
Emma: "Ahaha…no! …Please don’t test that!"
(A new threat has arrived—and it’s not a cat this time!)
I wriggled and flailed, trying desperately to escape as Prince Kagari continued tickling my wings.
Thanks to my fierce resistance, his grip loosened—and I took the chance to zip upward into the air.
Kagari: "Being looked down on by you is a refreshing change."
Kagari: "But you let your guard down."
Emma: "!?"
Prince Kagari kicked off the ground, leaping into the air—and effortlessly caught me again.
(That jump… was incredible. It’s like he’s a cat himself.)
(But this time... I really can’t escape!)
I squeezed my eyes shut, bracing for impact—but instead, he gently placed me in his open palm.
I tensed, my wings trembling in anticipation, but nothing happened.
I hesitantly opened my eyes—only to flinch as those emerald eyes stared right back at me, just inches away.
Kagari: "You look like you’re going to keel over any second. It’d be best not to move around too much."
Emma: "It’s reassuring to know that you’ll be protecting me, Prince Kagari... I... It really is..."
Kagari: "I intended to do so from the start."
Emma: "Prince Kagari...!"
Kagari: "In return, can I play with your wings?"
Emma: "Absolutely not."
Kagari: "Stingy."
Emma: "I’ll repay you in another way!"
Emma: "By the way, what brings you out here today?"
Kagari: "My usual patrol."
Emma: "Then, let me help! Since I can fly now, I’m sure I’ll be useful!"
Kagari: "Like one of those grateful spirits repaying a favor?"
Emma: "A grateful fairy, actually!"
Kagari: "In that case—"
…….
Emma: "Prince Kagari, turn right at that corner, then take the small path to the left!"
Kagari: "Got it."
Prince Kagari’s patrol today seemed to have a specific goal: track down a thief who had snuck into the territory.
The moment we spotted the culprit, a wild chase broke out.
But the thief was incredibly fast.
Even with my bird’s-eye view from above, it was getting harder and harder to keep track of them—and it felt like it was only a matter of time before we lost them completely.
(If only I could stall them, even for a moment… wait—that’s it!)
I flapped my wings with all my might, soaring over a few rooftops, and managed to get ahead of the thief.
They were so focused on running, they didn’t even notice my tiny figure.
(If I can just knock over this stack of supplies—)
Emma: “Nngh!”
(It’s no good—it’s too heavy! Even slamming into it doesn’t move it.)
(But I won’t give up…!)
I threw myself at the pile, again and again—
Thud. Thud. Thud. It took several painful seconds, but finally the materials collapsed in a loud cascade.
The intruder stumbled at the blocked path—just for a moment.
But that moment was all Prince Kagari needed to catch up, and in a blink of an eye, he was captured.
The chase was over, and in my tiny body, I finally relaxed.
(I hope this was enough to show my thanks, even if only a little)
Kagari: “Well done, Princess.”
Handing the scene off to a subordinate who appeared from nowhere, Prince Kagari returned to me.
Kagari: “Here. Your reward.”
Emma: “………?”
(He’s tapping his shoulder with his finger… does he want me to sit there?)
Without hesitation, I fluttered over obediently— and just as I landed, his fingertip reached up and gently stroked beneath my chin.
Kagari: “You do bold things for someone so delicate.”
Emma: “Is that a compliment?”
Kagari: “Yeah.”
Emma: Hehe… I’m glad I put in the effort.”
(This feels… kind of nice.)
His touch was gentle, like the way one might pamper a beloved cat, and it was so incredibly comforting that I almost became addicted to it.
My wings even started fluttering unconsciously, syncing with his motions.
Emma: “…This is bad.”
Kagari: “What is?”
Emma: “If you keep petting me like that… I might never want you to stop.”
Kagari: “That’s fine. This is my thanks to you.”
Emma: “No, wait—This was supposed to be my way of saying thank you!”
Kagari: “And this is my thank you for your thank you.”
Emma: ““If we keep this up, we’ll be stuck thanking each other forever!”
Kagari: “ I’ll stop if you hate it.”
Emma: “…Please don’t stop.”
Kagari: “I like honest little spirits like you.”
Emma: “A Fairy.”
His fingers occasionally brushed along my neck, and even though I wasn’t a cat, a purring sound nearly slipped from my throat.
(Just a little longer…)
Cat: “Meow…”
Emma: “!!!”
My dreamy bliss was shattered in an instant.
I peeked nervously at the ground—only to meet the gleaming eyes of that same cat.
(N-No…)
The cat crouched low, ready to pounce—
Just as I was about to scream, Prince Kagari scooped me up and gently pressed me against his chest.
Kagari: “No. This Princess is off-limits.”
Cat: “Mrrrow!”
Kagari: “I said no.”
Kagari: “She’s my favorite, after all.”
(I’m…. his favorite?)
(...Is that why he protects me…?)
His voice sounded softer than usual.
And I buried my face into his chest to hide how flustered I was.

The Fairy and the Queen's Secret
With Keith, Kagari, and Clavis
Ch 1 | Ch 2 | Ch 3 | Kagari's End: Ch 1 | Ch 2
Keith: “That’s…”
Emma: “I can see something through the plants… It looks like a statue…”
Keith: “Just as I thought.”
Keith: “Emma, stay close to me. If you need to, hold onto my hair.”
Emma: “O-Okay.”
Keith: “Yeah, no doubt about it. This is a statue of the Fairy Queen… Which means this forest is her garden.”
Clavis: “For a queen, she looks quite like a clay doll. I’m not even sure it’s humanoid."
Keith: “Maybe it’s been worn down by years of wind and rain… which might have actually made things worse."
Emma: “Worse? How?”
Keith: “According to Jade’s legends, the Fairy Queen is known to be incredibly jealous.”
Keith: “The less love she feels, the stronger her jealousy grows… and it’s said to be directed toward women who enter her forest.”
(…!)
Kagari: “So that’s why only the princess turned into a fairy.”
Emma: “Then… how can I turn back to normal?”
Keith: “If we can soothe the Queen’s jealousy, maybe then…”
Keith: “According to the legend, a pure white sacred flower was said to calm her heart.”
Clavis: “Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like we have much time to ponder.”
Emma: “Huh? Whoa…!”
(There are animals pouring in from between the trees—!)
Kagari: “That boar again? I guess he had more spirit than I gave him credit for.”
Keith: “It’s said all animals in the forest are servants of the Queen. So this would mean—”
Emma: “They’re trying to stop us from leaving the forest…?”
Keith: “That would be my guess.”
Clavis: “Well, well. That deer’s got quite the energy.”
Emma: “Clavis!”
(The animals… are attacking!?)
Kagari: “Are we playing tag? Alright—catch me if you can.”
(Prince Kagari is moving so fast I can’t even see him anymore!)
Keith: “Emma, I need your help.”
Keith: “Please help me search for a white hawthorn flower.”
Keith: “The flower described in the legend is a spring flower with five white petals, thorny branches, and red berries capable of soothing the heart.”
Keith: “That must be a Mayflower—another name for the hawthorn.”
Keith: “If we offer it to the statue, it might ease the Queen’s jealousy.”
Emma: “A hawthorn flower—got it!”
Keith: “Clavis, Kagari—can I leave things here to the both of you for a little while?”
Clavis: “Haha, take your time. I’ve been itching to test out a new trap design anyway.”
(Amazing… the animals are all playfully rolling around on the ground now.)
Kagari: “I don’t mind. I enjoy a game of tag.”
(I still can’t see him. Prince Kagari’s moving too fast for my eyes to follow…)
Keith: “Thanks.”
Keith: “Alright, let’s go, Emma.”
Emma: “Right!”
(I’m all fired up now, but… how are we supposed to find a hawthorn flower in a forest this big?)
Keith: “This way. I can faintly smell something.”
Emma: “You can smell it?”
Keith: “Just a little.”
Keith: “I’m not totally confident, but… You, Clavis and Kagari’s safety depends on this.”
Keith: “There is no time to hesitate, so I have to do whatever I can.”
(Prince Keith…)
Emma: “I’ll fly up and look for any white flowers from above.”
Keith: “Please do.”
A short while later—
Emma: “Prince Keith, on that tree—could it be a hawthorn?”
Keith: “You’re right. Great work spotting it, Emma.”
Emma: “It’s all thanks to you following the scent. Please wait here—I’ll go pick the flowers.”
Keith: “Be careful. The branches have thorns.”
Emma: “Got it!”
(So this is the hawthorn… It has such a fresh, sweet fragrance.)
(I hope this scent is enough to calm the Fairy Queen’s temper…)
Keith: “Sorry to keep you waiting, everyone!”
Keith: “Fairy Queen, we offer you this flower. Please—let your jealousy be soothed.”
(Please… let this work…!)
The animals: “……”
Clavis: “Hm?”
Kagari: “What, is it over already?”
Keith: “The animals… they’re retreating into the forest…”
Emma: “It worked, Prince Keith! That was amazing!”
Keith: “Thank goodness. Now maybe your appearance will also—”
Emma: “Ah!”
Keith: “Emma!”
(Such a strong gust of wind… No—I’m being blown away!)
....
Emma: “Mmm…”
(Huh…? When did I fall asleep…?)
(I feel like I dreamt of a grand adventure as a fairy…)
(I wonder if it was because I was reading about the Fairy Queen of Jade…?)
(Huh? That flower over there—)
Emma: “That’s a hawthorn, isn’t it?”
Emma: “I don’t know why, but… this scent is so familiar.”
That sweet fragrance seemed to stir a vivid, dreamlike memory, filled with magic and wonder
But the moment I closed the book I had left open, the memory quietly vanished, leaving only a warm, pleasant feeling behind.

The Fairy and The Lost Forest
With Keith, Kagari, and Clavis
Ch 1 | Ch 2 | Ch 3 | Kagari's End: Ch 1 | Ch 2
Emma: “W-WAAAH…!”
(It’s going to attack me—!)
Clavis: “Emma, close your eyes!”
Emma: "Huh—?"
Crow: "Caw!?"
(What was that sound!?)
(Wow, sparkling confetti is swirling through the air—it’s beautiful.)
(Huh? The crow is running away. Oh, right, I don't think crows like sparkly things…)
Keith: “Welcome back, Emma. Are you okay?”
Emma: “Yes, thanks to all of you, I somehow managed.”
Emma: “Thank you, Clavis. Your trap really saved me.”
Clavis: "Haha, my traps exist for the good of mankind—and fairies too."
Clavis: “If this little incident has sparked your interest in traps, I’d be happy to let you be the test subject for my next creation.”
Emma: “I’ll have to politely decline.”
Clavis: “A shame.”
Kagari: “Were you able to figure out the path?”
Emma: “Yes, I got a general sense of the direction. I’ll lead the way!”
…….
Emma: “...Huh?”
(Didn’t we pass this spot earlier?)
Kagari: “We’re lost again.”
(But I followed the path I saw from above, so why…?)
Emma: “I’ll go take another look from the sky.”
(The way out of the forest is that way, and the path we just came from is—wait what?)
(No way……)
Keith: “What did you see?”
Emma: “You might not believe me, but… the path has completely changed…”
Keith: “Now this is starting to feel like a proper trick from a fairy.”
Kagari: “If the view from the sky doesn’t help, then all we can do is keep moving.”
Kagari: “I’ll carve a mark into the surface of the trees we pass using my knife."
Kagari: “If we find ourselves at a tree with a mark, we’ll know to go in a different direction."
(Oh, it’s a little mark in the shape of a cat. Cute.)
Kagari: “Alright, let’s keep moving.”
…….
(Thanks to Prince Kagari’s marking strategy, I don’t think we’ve come across the same path yet.)
(Once night falls, we won’t be able to see anything, so it’d be best if we can make it out before then…)
(But even if we do make it out, there’s no guarantee my form will return to normal…)
(…….)
(Wait—Prince Kagari has been scratching at something for a while now…)
Emma: “Prince Kagari?”
Kagari: “Princess, it’s dangerous to go ahead on your own.”
Emma: “Huh?”
(Wait, Prince Kagari is behind me…)
(Then what’s making that scratching sound?)
???: “Snort snort…”
Wild Boar: “SQUEAL!!”
Emma: “WAH!”
(It was a boar gnawing on a tree!)
(What do I do?!? It’s chasing me! I have to run!)
(Wait, that’s right, I can fly! If I go up, I can get away…)
(But if I do that…)
(The boar might charge toward the 3 of them!)
Emma: “……!”
Keith: “Emma, where are you going?”
Emma: “I’ll lure the boar away. Please, run while you have the chance!”
Boar: “SQUEALL!!”
(If I can just lead it deep enough into the forest—)
Emma: “Huh?!”
(No way—my clothes got caught on the branches—)
Kagari: “Careless as ever, aren’t you, Princess.”
Emma: “Prince Kagari, it's dangerous! The boar—!”
Kagari: “…………!!”
(…! Such intense bloodlust…!)
(The boar backed off from Prince Kagari's glare and ran away.)
Kagari: “Looks like I win.”
Emma: “Thank you for saving me, Prince Kagari.”
Kagari: “You didn’t need to throw yourself in danger to protect us. I could have taken care of that easily.”
Kagari: “Still, you did well. Here’s a reward.”
Emma: “Is this… a dorayaki?”
(He was carrying one around…?)
Emma: “Thank you. But, um…”
(In my tiny body, this dorayaki looks absolutely enormous. There’s no way I could finish it.)
Kagari: “I know exactly what you’re thinking.”
Emma: “I’m glad. Just one bite is enough for me, so maybe you could—”
Kagari: “You wanted to try both smooth and chunky red bean filling, right? Don’t worry, I brought both.”
Emma: “No, you’ve got it backwards! It’s too much!!”
Clavis: “If it’s sweets you want, I’ve brought some Clavis-brand treats as well. They’re small, making it perfect for you as you are now.”
Emma: “Wow, they really are tiny… It’s amazing! My whole field of vision is sparkling with rainbow colors right now!”
Keith: “Ah… Emma was caught up in trouble again…”
And so, somehow, we made it out of the forest and arrived at an open area… but—
Keith: “That’s…”

The Fairy and the Mysterious Trick
With Keith, Kagari, and Clavis
Ch 1 | Ch 2 | Ch 3 | Kagari's End: Ch 1 | Ch 2
It happened whilst I visited a certain forest in the Kingdom of Jade with Prince Keith, Clavis, and Prince Kagari—
Keith: “Emma, that appearance of yours…”
Emma: “Huh?”
Clavis: “Oh? You’ve taken on quite an adorable form.”
Kagari: “Looks like some kind of spirit.”
(What are they all talking about…?)
(Now that I think about it, the three of them suddenly look really big…)
Clavis: “That form is more fairy-like, I’d say. She even has the wings to match.”
Keith: “Wait—why are you both so calm about this?”
Keith: “Emma, are you feeling okay? No pain, discomfort or anything like that?”
Emma: “Um, I feel fine, but...”
(Am I… floating in the air?)
Keith: “That’s a relief, at least for now.”
Keith: “Emma, I need you to stay calm and listen carefully.”
Keith: “Unless the three of us are all hallucinating, you’ve turned into a fairy.”
Emma: “A fairy, like… small body, transparent wings… that kind of fairy?”
Keith: “Yes, exactly like that.”
(What...?)
(WHAAAT?!)
(Now that they mention it, it's not just them—everything looks gigantic!)
(But how did this even happen?!)
Kagari: “The change happened instantly. I couldn't even manage to catch it.”
Clavis: “Even my traps don’t activate that quickly. Whoever did this is no amateur.”
Keith: “This doesn’t quite feel like a trap, but…”
Keith: “No, I take that back—Emma's form had changed the moment we stepped into the forest. Maybe in a way, it is a trap."
Keith: “If that’s the case, then... could it be....?"
Keith: “For now, let’s try to find our way out of the forest. If we leave, Emma might return to normal.”
(Did he say something about leaving the forest?)
(Because I’m so small, I can barely hear what they're saying…)
(Maybe I should float up a bit closer.)
Clavis: “What’s the matter, miss fairy?”
Emma: “I thought I’d move up to your eye level so I can hear everyone more clearly.”
Clavis: “Being a fairy certainly has its drawbacks.”
Clavis: “It must be tiring to keep flying like that. Why don’t you sit on my hand?”
Emma: “Thank you. Though, sitting on someone’s hand… feels kind of strange...”
Emma: “Clavis.”
Clavis: “Yes?”
Emma: “You’re too close.”
Clavis: “Haha. Well, as the kingdom’s top developer of traps, I can’t help but be intrigued by the mechanics of those beautiful wings of yours.”
Clavis: “Not to worry though, I’m a gentleman. I won’t touch you without permission…. Now, may I?”
Emma: “N-No, you may not!”
(If I stay too close to Clavis, I’ll end up becoming a test subject! I’ll fly over to Prince Kagari instead.)

Kagari: “……”
(He’s staring at me pretty intensely…)
Emma: “Um, Prince Kagari?”
Kagari: “What is it?”
Emma: “Your eyes are gleaming like a cat's.”
Kagari: “That’s because you keep darting around in front of me.”
Kagari: “When something moves that quickly, I get the urge to catch it.”
Emma: “Ah!”
(H-He just barely grazed my toes!)
Kagari: “You’re faster than I expected; but next time, I’ll catch you.”
(He’s got the expression of a cat about to pounce on its prey!)
Emma: “P-P-Prince Keith…!”
Keith: “Hey, you two—Emma’s clearly frightened.”
Keith: “If flying is too tiring, you’re welcome to sit on my shoulder. Only if you’re okay with it, of course.”
Kagari: “For you, I think she'd find your head more comfortable than your shoulder.”
Keith: “R-Really? You think so?”
Clavis: “Emma certainly does look like she wants to sit on your head, doesn’t she?”
Emma: “I do not! I mean—I don’t, but…”
(Now that he mentions it, I AM a little curious…)
Keith: “If you’re not against it, Emma, you’re more than welcome to sit on my head.”
Emma: “Really? Then… just for a little while—”
(Wow… It’s so soft and fluffy!)
Kagari: “You’re clearly enjoying it.”
Clavis: “Looks like Keith’s head is officially the fairy’s perch.”
Keith: “If my head’s good enough, then please feel free to to rest there.”
Emma: “Thank you… I’ll take you up on that.”
After that, we wandered through the forest for a while, searching for the way out, but…
………
Kagari: “We’ve been down this path before.”
Clavis: “Looks like we're completely lost. Could this be some sort of trick plotted by our dear fairy?”
Emma: “It is not!!”
(But he’s right—this path does look familiar…)
(If only we had some sense of direction…)
Emma: “Oh!”
Keith: “Emma, what is it?”
Emma: “This is exactly why I have these wings!”
Emma: “I’ll fly up and get a look from above!”
Emma: “Wow… I’m really flying through the sky… No wait—focus. I need to figure out which way will lead us out of the forest.”
(Hm? A dark shadow is heading this way—)
Crow: “Caw!”
Emma: “W-WAAAH…!”

I’ve just spammed through majority of Keith’s sequel and wow…
*Huge spoilers containing characters that appear in Keith’s sequel below*
Please proceed with caution!
Also @caffedrine will be providing their amazing summaries for Keith’s sequel! Please check it out! o(≧▽≦)o
Kagari’s elder brother is completely different from what I expected…
At first I wasn’t really sure what to make of him. But he’s certainly cunning, charismatic and….was quite flirty(?)** towards Emma, much to Keith’s annoyance (;´・`)> but he has some traits that reminds me Emidio (At least, from what I remember of Emidio, it’s been a hot minute since I’ve read Rio’s route) in the sense that he has a facade he like to put up when he’s in public but he’s actually hoping for someone’s downfall.
(?)**: To quote what Shiou, Kagari’s older brother, said was:
“Was I staring too much? I have a habit of gazing at beautiful things without meaning to.” He says, as he rests his cheek in his hand with a smile.
…….
( ⚆ _ ⚆ ) WHAAAT?!??! … this made me do a quadruple take after I had been aggressively tapping for the past couple hours to get through the story for the 2 times bonus rewards! And to say that in front of Keith, too, is even crazier!

KAGARI IS AWARE OF ALTER KEITH?!?!
I don’t think Kagari mentioned how long he’s known about it (unless I accidentally skipped it (╥_╥)), but it’s confirmed in the romantic route!
It’s the first sequel I’ve read from this series, and, although I’ve only skimmed through it, I think it’s overall pretty good! I tried not to spoil myself too much because I haven’t actually finished reading Keith’s first route, but with everything I did see, I really want to properly read it after finishing Keith’s first route!

I have a questions, who do you think holds the prince royal (eldest son of reigning monarch) title legally in Ikemen Prince, Prince Chevalier Michel or Prince Jin Grandet ?
Oh! That's a fun question! o(≧▽≦)o
I love Jin and Chevalier very dearly, but I’ll do my best to stay unbiased!
Prince Jin, biologically, is the eldest son of the former king, so for me, Jin having the title of Prince Royal would make the most sense. But seeing how many societies in the world of Ikemen Prince—high society to be more specific—often prioritize legitimacy and the royal lineage above biological ties, I think Chevalier being Prince Royal would most likely happen in that world. He’s the child of a noble, official royal marriage, and is recognized as a true royal in a way that Jin isn’t, despite Jin being the eldest.
So I could see either of them could potentially holding the title as Prince Royal, but in my eyes, it would be Jin!

Kagari Amagase
The Dangerous Lynx Clumsily Seeks Affection
Ch1 | Ch2 | Ch3 | His POV | Epilogue
Rough-looking Man: “The hell? Who’s this guy?”
Emma: “Y……you can’t pass beyond this point!”
In an alleyway, cut off from the bustling crowd, I stood face-to-face with a group of menacing-looking men.
I swallowed hard at the sight of the weapons hanging from their waist, but still drew the sword Prince Kagari had given me from its sheath.
Rough-looking Man: “Not sure what’s goin’ on here, but it seems like you know who we are, huh?”
(…Not in the slightest.)
Rough-looking Man: “Get 'em.”
With a sneering laugh, the men unsheathed their swords.
Unlike the fake sword I held, theirs were the real deal.
A dull, metallic gleam flashed as the blades pointed at me—
But before they could make a move, the man in the front was suddenly crushed by a shadow that fell from above.
Rough-looking Man: “What the—!?”
Kagari: “How disappointing.”
In the blink of an eye, the men are sent flying—swords and all.
One by one, they slammed into the walls, eyes rolling back as they collapsed to the ground.
Prince Kagari hadn’t even drawn his sword, yet the fight was over in seconds.
(No matter how many times I see it, his strength is unreal.)
Kagari: “Not even a challenge. At the very least, I hadd hoped they would make me unsheathe my blade.”
(…I wonder how many people in Ruby are actually capable of fighting Prince Kagari.)
Coming back to my senses, I moved to sheathe my imitation sword, but just as I did, Prince Kagari turned and grabbed my hand.
Kagari: “Princess, the angle of your stance should be like this.”
Emma: “I see….”
Kagari: “And on the battlefield, hesitation will get you killed.”
Emma: “I didn’t think about that...”
Kagari: “I figured. Even when dressed as one of my subordinates, you still look weak.”
Emma: “…I’m sorry.”
(Cut me some slack—I’m a complete amateur here!)
(I never expected to be roped into helping with an arrest…)
Still holding my hand, Prince Kagari placed his other hand on my waist.
He applied a slight pressure and straightened my posture.
Despite his usual impassive expression, he seems somewhat satisfied.
Cat: "Meow…"
Kagari: "Yeah, yeah, wait there."
(A cat?)
A cat appeared out of nowhere, rubbing against Prince Kagari’s feet.
He knelt down, gave it a quick stroke, then handed it a small, neatly folded piece of paper.
The cat bit down on the note and swiftly darted away.
Emma: "What was that just now…?"
Kagari: "That’s Mike No. 1."
(That’s an odd name.)
Kagari: "He often wanders around the city. If you ever need to contact me, you can rely on him."
Emma: "So instead of a carrier pigeon… it’s a carrier cat?"
Kagari: "Yeah."
(What a dependable cat. I’ll have to remember this.)
Emma: “So the paper you gave him just now…?”
Kagari: “I called my subordinates. Cleaning up is too much of a hassle."
Prince Kagari answered indifferently as he rose to his feet, looking down at the unconscious men sprawled nearby.
Kagari: “This is the ‘gift’ I receive every year, hidden amidst the birthday celebrations.”
Kagari: “I was hoping for a more challenging opponent this time, but I’ve been let down yet again.”
(Someone actually sends him assassins on his birthday?)
Prince Kagari is the main force behind his faction and the trump card of this territory.
As long as the Demon of Kogyoku is here, the safety of this territory is guaranteed.
It’s no surprise that there are those who would try to break through his ironclad defense.
(But still, to go so far to target him even on a day like this…)
Kagari: “Princess.”
Prince Kagari pressed his thumb firmly against the space between my brows.
(…Was I frowning?)
Kagari: “For now, you’ll remain as my subordinate.”
Emma: “Even though I’m weak?”
Kagari: “That just makes you an easier target for them.”
Kagari: “No one plays the role of bait better than you.”
(If staying by his side means I can help him in some way…)
Emma: “Then I’ll do my best as bait!”
…
Townsman: “Happy birthday Prince Kagari!”
Townswoman: “The whole town is making dorayaki today! There’s hardly a shop that isn’t!”
The moment we stepped into the main street, Prince Kagari was immediately surrounded by the townspeople.
Kagari: “…Yeah.”
Despite the flood of birthday wishes and gifts pouring in, his reaction remained as indifferent as it had been at the castle.
(Everyone is smiling so brightly, and their words seem sincere, so why is there such a stark contrast in the mood?)
I try listening more carefully to their words.
Townsman: “It’s thanks to you that we can live in peace.”
Townswoman: “Please, protect us for many years to come. We would do anything for that…!”
(..…)
(Oh, I see…)
(This is all just to flatter Prince Kagari.)
(Since the peace of this territory depends on him, they’re celebrating him out of necessity...)
(It’s still a celebration, but…)
Townswoman: "Oh right! Prince Kagari, has Emma wished you a happy birthday yet?"
My shoulders stiffen at the sudden mention of my name.
Kagari: “She hasn’t.”
Townswoman: "In that case, I'll remind her to do so the next time she sees you."
Townswoman: "After all, I'm sure you'd be happiest if Emma celebrated with you."
Now that I understood their intentions, I realized why I felt a subtle pressure on me earlier.
(…But celebrating isn’t something you should force someone to do.)
What rises in me isn’t just frustration—but something far more painful.
(Earlier, I had hesitated to celebrate his birthday because Prince Kagari didn’t seem interested in it at all…)
(But I’ve made up my mind. I’ll properly celebrate him—not as flattery or out of necessity, but because I truly want to.)
Emma: “…Prince Kagari.”
Wanting to make a quick escape out of the crowd, I subtly took his hand.
Townsman: "By the way, Prince Kagari, I've never seen this aide before."
Kagari: "He's a new recruit, and a highly skilled swordsman at that, so you all should be careful."
Kagari: "If he draws his sword, your heads would be severed with ease."
The lie he delivered with a straight face was shockingly effective.
As everyone around us stiffened in fear, I seized the chance to pull Prince Kagari away, quickly leading him out of the crowd.
Even after that, Prince Kagari continued receiving several more ‘gifts.’
By the time the sky darkened, he finally made his way to the banquet.
Kagari: "I had a prior engagement today."

Translation notes:
三毛1号: I find this one a little funny. 三毛(mi-ke) - calico, is part of the word 三毛猫 (mi-ke)(neko) - calico cat, and 1号 (ichi-gō) is a counter. Putting this together, this means that the cat Kagari and Emma came across is Mike no.1, and there’s possibly another cat that’s Mike no.2, and there’s Mike no.3, Mike no.4, and so on and so forth…
