Ottie had no real reason to be in a thrift store, she could more than afford to buy something new, but she liked buying clothes with a history behind them and was actively boycotting fast fashion. As she flipped through the rack she added a yellow dress to the pile draped over her arm then turned to the other woman. “I like that one,” she pointed to the sun dress. “But I suppose it depends on the look you’re going for.” She smiled.

Naomi was almost hidden by the rack full of old dresses. Thrifting was her favorite way of finding costumes; this year for Halloween she was dead set on being Tinkerbell, nothing could get in her way. She huffed as she pulled two different dresses from the rack; one was a forest green sun dress with a flowy fit and flare skirt, the other was mossy green bodycon fit. “ Which one? ” She asked, stumped expression on her face.

An only child with a passion for the outdoors and making friends, she grew up reading and imagining a better world. Ottie was always a top student, excelling in humanities and social sciences. She became aware of her privilege around her teen years and has since been an activist for women's rights and feeding the hungry. An environmentalist and plant lover, Ottie also enjoys rugby. She plays back for the university rugby team and is a member of the activism club.
