National Quilting Day and COVID-19, March 21. • National Quilting Day Imitating good deeds means adopting good works or even copying good examples''. Inspired by a Lutheran approach (LWR Quilters and Makers Community) during a quilt distribution in Niger a few years ago, I thought why not try to design in our own way a local quilt version in the Nigerian way and then distribute it to accompany Lutherans to commemorate the "National Quilting Day" on March 21, 2020 and to raise awareness and make known the good works of Lutherans in Africa. Even my wife knew very well how dear the quilting operation is to me. This year we decided to do something special in our own way to support the needy in the context of the National Quilting Day celebration to help others in need. Experiencing this approach had been in our hearts for a long time and yet every year at the same time of the quilting festival we had several times tried to imagine, to experiment with the design of quilts, layettes, school kits and others with my wife and every time we decided to do it, a setback was in our way. But as we realized that it's all about will, motivation, love to help one's neighbour and commitment. This year, there is no question of letting this beautiful celebration pass before our eyes and remaining passive and passive. And by the grace of God and our will we are determined to seize this beautiful opportunity and that this time we are committed to participate in the feast in the most beautiful way. That's why I and my wife decided to design quilts, small kits for babies' layette, school kits, all similar to those of the Lutherans and to make a gesture to the needy. Although in the eyes of the needy nothing is small, it is the gesture of humanism that counts. What is certain is that in a few years we have learned a lot from the Lutherans who have given us more knowledge on how to help, accompany and participate in a better world which is that of humanitarianism. • COVID-19. And also with this new trend of the new coronavirus epidemic called COVID-19, I took the opportunity to give some advice learned at the level of my organization on awareness of the risks related to this disease https://www.instagram.com/p/B97x4SgBC5K/?igshid=1qgt5vd537wq8
