I have a bit of a sad(?) HC for this drawing involving Postgame so consider this an AU of sorts. I headcanon that after Kokichi gets smooshed in Ch 5, in the real world, his body is stuck in a comatose state while his soul/mind(?) is stuck in this dreamlike simulation where he is wandering in space (it's supposed to mimic Kaito's execution. Idk the symbolism for it. I just think it'd be a cool detail). This was created by Team DR to help their minds come back to the real world without causing too much mental trauma (which does work... for the most part as all the classmates come back with PTSD and Kokichi ends up with full-blown amnesia and a sudden fear of the dark and claustrophobia but they come back to reality unscathed :D ).

It's definitely one of the sadder things I've drawn (in terms of context) but I've never really drawn anything for Postgame so it was really nice to draw something for an AU that I've hardly paid attention to.
