hello, i've never done anything like this before but... hello i'm mihai, i'm a nonbinary lesbian currently stuck in texas. all my paychecks go towards either rent, my bills, or groceries, which makes saving money to try and get out of texas and to a safer place very difficult. because of this, i'm currently trying to fundraise so i can get out of here asap. my current goal is $1100 with an overall goal of $3500.

A Mother’s Plea — For Sally and Little Mohamed

This is not easy to write, but my heart leaves me no choice.

I’m a mother of two precious children: Sally, my bright and gentle two-year-old daughter, and Mohamed, my sweet newborn son who is just two months old. Right now, I’m struggling to provide them with the most basic necessities — diapers, formula, baby clothes, and daily food.

No mother should ever feel helpless while holding her hungry baby, or unable to comfort her little girl because she can’t afford the essentials. But this is my reality. And I’m reaching out not for myself — but for them 😞.

Every dollar, every share, every kind word brings us closer to a warm, safe place where Saly can play without worry, and Mohamed can grow strong and healthy.
