Smiling Critters Redesigns!!!

It’s been a while, hasn’t it?

I’ve been swamped from all sides for the past couple of months, I still feel guilty for not posting as often as I said I would. But, I do have good news— despite not posting I’ve still been creating and these are some of my older Smiling critter redesigns! I wanted to make them cuter, closer to their time period as well as more individualized. With the new designs a couple have new names as well, but I’ll show you those later 😉 (since these are old some designs are subject to change!)

I think we as a smiling critters fandom should start to treat our opinions as just opinions instand of the objetive truth🤷🏾‍♀️

like just because a ship/character is not for you it doesnr necesserelly means that the ship/character is bad,for example,im not a fan of craftyday but i do see why ppl may like them,they are kinda cute in some art and i see how it may work for some people.

I saw a lot of towards hoppyhug generalizing 1 or 2 poytraits of the ship and as EVERY single poytrait of this ship in the fandom and they have no dynamic like...bro if they have no dynamic why ppl create fanfics,aus and comics about them in first place😭

its okay if you dont like the ship for personal reasons is okay but dont go around treating like is a objetive truth

would you ever draw poppy in your art style or like what she’d look like with your art vibe? feel like she’d fit in your style!

UHMM maybe. Honestly I don't like Poppy as a character much and I think she's a weird rip of Circus Baby hahhaa. But I may just for fun at some point, who knows.

The characters I'm most interested in drawing would be PJ, Catnap, Dogday, Huggy/Kissy.. Maybe Bunzo(?) I think that's his name. ETC. In fact I have a Catnap/Dogday file laying around that I started last year and maybe will eventually finish. (Pomapoo Dogday + Oriental shorthair Catnap!)

Her family isn’t here… yet.

She already asked the Playtime workers for one, but they always said that they’ll do it later.

(She doesn’t understand. She’s a good caretaker. She can take care of a family. She just wants a family of her own, is that too much to ask? The factory’s not that far, she’s seen the workers make toys, can’t they make her a family? Just like her? A family of her own?)

It’s alright. She can wait. That gives her time to work on how her family should look like!

Plus, it helps when she gets to take care of the toddlers at the daycare and gets to read books that the workers give her.

She can wait. She will get a family.
