The day James Taylor showed up to practice Fire And Rain, (this pic is the Soundcheck) I tried my darnedest not to lose it. None of us really needed to “practice” Fire And Rain. It was for many of us, engrained in our childhoods. Minimally shaking my way through a low string part and background vocal behind THE James Taylor for the show, was quite the milestone in my life.

This is a little demo I recorded recently. I wrote it about a guy I fell for in the summer of 2008. He inspired my best music and when someone means that much, it’s hard to let them go.
