juho and seongbin originally had a VERY strained relationship. juho, being one of the oldest felt a sense of resentment and jealousy seeing how the staff would treat seongbin because he was younger and “more attractive”.

after juho found out exactly what was going on with seongbin, he got EXTREMELY protective over him. he rarely lets the boy out of his sight. in videos they’re always sitting beside each other and juho’s probably playing with bin’s hair or holding his hand. that’s his son.

they were naturally very close because they were close in age, and were often grouped together during GODS and other promotions because of their dynamic. originally it was mostly the 97z, but eventually they started involving bin more.

they’re like dumb, dumber and dumbest. they’re always getting into trouble with each other, it almost always starts with chase, who ends up persuading han, and they just drag bin along with them because bin will listen to them.

they love each other, they really do. but if you were a new fan, you’d probably have no idea. they’re constantly jokingly making fun of each other. sian’s wearing something ugly? saebom’s gonna be the first one to let him know, to be playful but also because he cares.

they are the old married couple of ZELOS. they make fun of each other but they are really close, always side by side. even saebom’s own girlfriend felt threatened from how close the boys are.

KIM JAEMIN was born on january 17th, 1994 to parents who were less than interested in raising him. they would have rather continued advancing in their careers than raise a child but they were strongly against abortion or putting him up for adoption so they were “stuck” with him.

he’s been fighting for attention from others his whole life really. he joined clubs, tried his hardest to get good grades in order to impress his parents, nothing worked. maybe that was why he started training, perhaps if he got big and famous enough that he would be able to finally gain his parents attention.

he began training at 13 years old. and would train at that same company until GODS took place in 2014, ranking 5th and becoming the main dancer and rapper of ZELOS.

HWANG JUHO was born on july 27th, 1994 to a single mother who did her best to raise him. she worked three jobs to be able to support the two of them, and as soon as juho was old enough he started working small jobs to help out with the bills and other stuff too.

when his jobs started slowing on the cash flow, and his mother got older, he decided he needed a whicker way to get money. he started training in 2012, despite being one of the oldest trainees at the company at the time.

it was this work ethic that would help juho survive GODS, and eventually become the leader. juho would place 2nd in GODS and become the leader and main rapper of ZELOS.

PARK SAEBOM was born on april 16th, 1995 to very musically inclined parents, so it was no surprise that they would want the same for their son. he was put into acting and modeling very early on as a child, and eventually made his first debut in child group POP!

saebom would be in POP! until he graduated in 2008, he would then be put into the older group CRUSH! where he would participate until he turned 18 in 2013, participating in GODS a year later.

GODS would prove to be especially difficult for saebom because he had trouble being seen as the adult he really was. despite the challenges, he finished in 7th place and became ZELOS’ main dancer and lead vocal.

because of how much he and his grandfather fought, sian joined the company without the man knowing at all. his grandfather had no idea he was even training until he appeared in GODS, ranking 3 and taking on the role of vocalist and visual in ZELOS.

chase grew up very comfortably, he played football and was good at it, his grades weren’t great, but they were worked around through 100 dollar bills and persuasion. he got everything on his christmas lists to a tee and more.

so when he wanted to move to korea to become an idol what did his parents do? they uprooted their lives for him, letting him train and eventually participate on GODS where he would place 6th and become the lead dancer, visual, and vocalist of ZELOS.

KO SEONGBIN was born december 31st, 1998 after a fling between his mother and father. he would be raised mostly by his father after his mother left them after finding out a year after seongbin was born that his father had gotten another women pregnant.

living with his stepmother, half sister seongmi, and his father was an interesting experience. while yes, his father loved him, it was clear that they favored seongmi more. it was like seongmi was their daughter, and seongbin was her protector.

so when seongmi went to sm, so did seongbin, and when she moved to jyp, he did too. only once he realized that he was NOT gonna debut under jyp, he moved to ?????!!!!!!. he would then participate on GODS, ranking first and becoming the maknae, lead dancer, main vocal, center of ZELOS.

GODS (generating our perfectly designed seven) was a survival show created by ???!!!!! that took place during late 2014. the show would be known to be one of the most brutal both emotionally and physically on the trainees because of the show’s aim to create the “perfect” idol.

the show consisted of twenty trainees, ages ranging from twenty two - thirteen. a lot of the trainees who were minors at the time (obviously besides bin, han, and chase) were quickly removed from the show because of the concern from their parents. the show would not only focus on the basic idol training such as vocal lessons and dancing, etc., but also endurance. the trainees were physically trained, in order to prepare them for the “real” idol world, where they would be put on diets and constantly performing.

the final seven really weren’t even necessarily the best in terms of training time, but rather they were the best ones of the ones who were left. the ones who somehow managed to not drop out or be taken out. their group would soon be named ZELOS after the greek god of competition, because little did they know, but they would constantly competing against each other even after the survival show was over.

until about 2017, the members had a very strained relationship because of how their company treated them. the company had clear favorites, and it was easy to tell who they were. it was hard for the members to not get jealous when they saw how much more favored the maknaes were compared to them, and they were blinded by this.

this jealousy blinded them to the point that they could not see clear predatory behavior, they didn’t notice how the younger members may have been getting more lines, but they were “practicing” ten times more often than their hyungs.

it took until juho noticed a bruise on bin’s neck that the other members realized what was going on, the competition that was forced upon them didn’t matter anymore because they very clearly realized that they were being mistreated and needed help.

the seven members filed a lawsuit against their company, and while they didn’t win a very large settlement, they managed to break free from the company. now they were completely on their own, but free from that company.
