ok, transformers fandom, GENUINE question here -

does anyone know where "valve" came from as the defacto #term in ye old valveplug?

i'm just really curious as i'm working on my own robot stuff, and while i learn about how engines work, and that there's many different valves within cars - even outside the engine. like, caliper is clearly coming from breaks, so there's a lot of locational stuff mixing within the terms used in fics

yeah, idk, i just think it's neat and want the #lore

If anyone’s ever wondered how I do brainstorming for comics I have no clear direction for : I just take a piece of paper and draw a few faces and poses on it that I like. This can either be a few pics like here or a sheet covered in 30+ faces (if I find one of those again in my pile of sketches, I’ll share them too). 

I thought about Inferno and Megatron and bathtub sex a lot okay and yes there’s some teeth in there Just, people please consider, Inferno pressing his long tooth against Megatron’s node and just slowly and carefully dragging over it and it gets him off.

I promise the next thing is not gonna be about teeth.
