I didn't want to choose any of the "face" characters. All the other characters in this project have been faceless, some even nameless and as I'm deeply entrenched in the DCA sub-fandom, these two were the obvious choice.

Like many Y/N creations, they're really just a pair of OCs in a gray trenchcoat, but I love them all the same. I call the male design Yen and the female design Yin! (^_~*)

So I know I just confused a lot of you but let me explain.

Eli is my own character. See back when Sister Location first dropped, there was no custom night. Matter of fact, it was months later when Scott dropped custom night, which is where Michael Afton was revealed as the protagonist. In that time frame I was one of many who had created their own Eggs Benedict and I'd grown attached. Over time, Eli evolved from just an alternate universe Eggs Benedict, into Michael's boyfriend (later husband) and a very important character in my AUs.

Fun facts: my Phone Dude is Phone Guy's nephew and is called "Scottie". My night guard survived a near-fatal car accident resulting in him needing multiple surgeries on his knee (hence the brace) and punctured lungs that results in the breathing issues he has. His name is Josh Grabowski.

I should have had this posted last weekend, but I was having trouble getting it to scale down properly and completely forgot I also own Clip Studio which was able to successfully scale down my tif file to a size tumblr finds acceptable. OTL

My slightly late secret Santa gift for @bones-of-a-rabbit ! It's their boys from their "Eclipse Moves In" AU.

I couldn't find a full color-ref for Eclipse, so I hope you like what I went with.

Bonus under the read more: photo of the original drawing and all the markers and pens I used before finishing up on the computer.

Didn't realize until I started putting them away that I left 3 more yellows out of the picture! ^_^;

Update: Moon is in California! But he's gotta stop here in Missouri first and the gifts for my sister's family (including this wrapped picture) are already in Florida and due to be delivered today. But hey, at least he's no longer at sea.

Well, Moon still hasn't landed stateside.

Family tradition is to wrap a picture of the ordered item when it doesn't arrive in time for Christmas, but I decided to do something a little different for my niece.

The full-size of this pic is 5.5" x 8.5", half a standard sheet of paper. Mostly done with Copic markers and Faber-Castell pens, I even broke in my new paint pens for detailing and the eclipsed sun. As usual, tumblr destroyed the quality, but I'm adding a close-up of plush Moon below.

It's showtime!

In celebration of the movie, I decided to make a new header for my main account featuring the main cast (with bonus phone guy) in the style of the promotional posters.

There was a devastating moment as I was coloring and one of my main yellows dried out. It was then I received horrible news: Prismacolor, whose markers I use in almost all of my art pieces, was no longer selling individual markers. They hadn't been for the last two years, but thanks to my severe art block, I had remained blissfully unaware of this development until now. What's worse? They still sell markers.

Yep. They still sell them. In sets. Only in sets. And they only did this with the markers. Pencils still can be purchased individually.

So now I'm slowly phasing out the Prismacolor markers for Copics. I like the yellows I got for Chica and Golden Freddy. Foxy and Freddy will be next, along with Phone Guy's uniform.

Since I won't be able to join the magma tonight, I wanted to participate somehow so enjoy this rare digital-colored piece in celebration of our jester blorbos.

Ran a little short on time to finish this, (I have to snorkmimi for work.) so there's still a little shading to be done and the noisemakers and shapes definitely need to be recolored.

And tumblr killed the image quality too. (┬┬﹏┬┬)

Won't know for sure if this scene will remain canon to my AUs until Ruin drops, but one way or another the DCA is getting out of there.

I wanted to get this posted now, since I won't have time to finish the color version before the DLC drops. Hopefully finishing this one will get me motivated to finish some of my other sketches.

AU stuff under the read more!

So in both my gameverse and Overly Affectionate Animatronics AUs, Michael and Eli are the creators of the Glamrocks, Sun, Moon, and DJ. Michael designed them, Eli wrote their AI code, and together they "raised" them from sentient to sapient.

In the gameverse, Glitchtrap/Vanny tried to kill them with the rental bots, leaving them hospitalized until shortly before the events of the game. Once they've recovered enough to return (as far as they're concerned, even though their doctor would disagree) Ruin will have occurred/be playing out, and they attempt to save their kids and may even end up with a bonus human child or two.

After seeing all the awesome Y/N’s everyone was creating I caved and made my own.  The one on the left will be in most of my AUs while the right is currently only in my (still unnamed)Fantasy!AU.

I’ve got a lot of thoughts about their personality, but I think they’ll be one of the few Y/N’s that’s not eternally exhausted.  (^_~*)  Y/N also has the advantage of professional training/experience in childcare before coming to work with the boys.  More details on each AU below:
