Phineas and Ferb is an extremely popular children's cartoon that is known for it's more popular episodes that were watched in passing by the general public, so it makes sense that people would misunderstand it or not be fully invested in the characters *said while shaking and sobbing violently because people still theorize that Doof is the dad of Phineas*

imagine if you were raised by a group of people who think of you as a mindless animal. you love them deeply, but their perception of you is completely false and that's by design. in reality you have a prestigious job you must keep secret at all cost. it's hard to live a double life and it's embarrassing to pretend you're not capable of complex thought but you manage. and during your prestigious job you have to meet a certain man every day and you're gay as hell so of course you catch feelings for him. you also kind of hate yourself for that, but it doesn't matter, you've fallen for him even though you were not supposed to, you're really supposed to be fighting him, but he's not even THAT evil so it's really fine, right?

except people on twitter are saying you cannot date that human because there's people who think of you as their pet and it would be unfair to them if they somehow found out even though you pay a lot of attention to keeping your two lives seperate and also the pet thing is all a disguise that your nemesis/boyfriend doesn't even know about you are Perry the platypus.
