Another of favourite tweets, saved from being lost forever. I made several plush toys for the development team at PixelOpus for their game Concrete Genie. Here’s the first one at their office! I didn’t have an embroidery machine at the time so those twisty horns were done using the satin stitch of the sewing machine over several hours. The eyes and horns glow in the dark.

Ideally use Shannon plush or other minky because of the way it stretches. Minky stretches side to side but not up/down. Felt/fleece has had mixed results.

For posterity, saving my favourite tweets in case they end up gone forever. 

This is THE Shuhei Yoshida holding my prototype for a Trico plush toy from the game The Last Guardian. The plush also made it’s way to Fumito Ueda (I have a photo with him with the plush too but am not allowed to share) to approve for production. The plush had a small run and was sold at some of the PAX events (and possibly E3 but I can’t remember for certain). It’s really difficult to get hold of one - I certainly don’t have an official one just another prototype.

Zero from Drakengard 3! My first time painting an anime-type statue. Need to learn how to mask properly during airbrushing because touching up gradients on something so big is difficult. Sculpt from Bulkamancer.

owlpaintit is my model painting blog. I’ll Reblog anything Final Fantasy related or anything I sculpt myself, but wont crowd up this craft blog with loads of resin printing nonsense!

First painted miniature and one of my most recent! Of course always comes back to Final Fantasy. Last month I celebrated my first year of model/miniature painting so took a little photo.

I’ll be selling some Lahabread soon! I have a bunch of plush toys and models that need to be cleared out to make some room and Lahabread is one of them (as is the dear Great Serpent of Ronka and a very upset moogle)

Ah! I haven’t posted here in nearly two years. My main account is on Twitter but a little uncertain as it where that platform is going to go - so I’d best start catching up with those missing posts on Tumblr!

My most recent plush is Lahabread! I’ve just managed to get some minky in to make a few more for sale - the Beige was out of stock in the UK for months. I only sell enough plushies to cover my hobby costs. I don’t tend to do large batches or commissions as there’s just no time while still working (and software pays much better than sewing ;_;)

Demon Lord Ninetails plush from Okami. This was a LOT of work - each tail was a plush in it’s own right needing prayer beads, the paintbrush and an individual fox mask.

A quick chocochick made from a small fabric sample. This one is already sold but ended up buying a metre of this fabric so can hopefully make more chocobo variations in the future.

Spriggans! I made these from faux fur, minky and air dry clay/acrylic paints for the mouths. They have so much expression - I love them so much!
