Sweet Digs: finally made it into our #dogfriendly cottage at #IndianSprings @gastateparks after hours of #hiking and exploring. This cabin is the Woof! 🐶 It is a mini home away from home 🏡 and even has a fireplace. Talk about #glamping?!? I've never had it so good at a campsite. Monday Musing: its better to start the week with an annoying situation 😖 than to end the week with one. Ma was annoyed this morning when she went to run some errands and the car 🚗 wouldn't start. Yep, the battery went dead. It's all fixed now but it threw our entire morning schedule off! So much for getting things done today so we enjoyed some outdoor time in the yard this afternoon. At The Vet: this morning I went for my annual #seniordog wellness exam. 🐶😷 I'm usually not a nervous dog but poor Ricky, the #dog in the exam room next to mine, was having a bad day. I could hear him whining and yelping so I got nervous and started to cry too. I did finally calm down when Dr. F came in to see me. Aside from my ongoing allergy issues, the Doc says I am super healthy! Dog Trainer: Here I am keeping Ma motivated on her power walk this morning. 🚶‍♀️🏃‍♀️ "Mush, woman, MUSH" or should I say "PUSH" since I am in my @solvitpets HoundAbout II Trailer Stroller?!? Shout Out: thank you to @stellaandchewys for sending me freeze dried #rawdietfordogs right before Hurricane Matthew was due to arrive. Yep, you can still feed raw during a natural disaster because freeze dried is shelf stable! We were lucky that the hurricane didn't affect us at all (thank dog) but if it had, I still had plenty of food thanks to #stellaandchewys. Hurricane Watch 👁👁: that's what we are under and the mode I am in. Daddy-dog is out that door, in the garage, getting our shutters ready. He is putting some up now, just in case, because he can't be home with us before the storm since he is part of the State's emergency management. *sigh* I want to go out and help him but he said no so I sit here and keep him under Hurricane Watch.
