Let me explain

So basically they would have no memory of the game, but have no memory of the real world either.

Leaving them with; how to move their body, and basic common sense.

They would have no sense of their own personality or what they did.

Now as for the survivors?

The game would only be some weird sadistic fever dream. They would have some memory of it, but like a dream, not much of it. They would have the most memory of the game but not so much as reality.

Rantaro would have the least amount of memory of the game and most amount of memory of the real world to some extent..(If you know, you know)

So like....

Instead of opposites they're like...slightly different

Example:

Shuichi in this AU would be like reserved, quiet, you know the quiet kid. Basically, everyone assumes how he'd be and how he'd react.

Even if it's something small it's immediately 'oh look he's going to kill you now' even though he won't.

He doesn't care about his schoolmates enough to care about the negative things they say about him and doesn't allow them to know how much it really does affect him. He's only fascinated by murder, he has dreams of becoming a homicide detective.

He genuinely cares about the people he calls friends...if he had any...but he's allow mainly because he wants to be as well as the other students won't hang out with him.

With Pregame Kokichi, he'd still be hated and be annoying but for a different reason. He's not exactly a liar...but he's not exactly honest... Let me explain.

Bro can lie but he can and will tell the truth, just when he does it's brutally honest and you wished he lied instead. But that's not why people hate him.

His classmates hate him because they perceive him as a know-it-all and teacher's pet

(even though he just answers the teacher's questions no one wants to answer...)
