WHILE THE ACTOR IS NOT TRANS, i am still using park sung hoon as a faceclaim. this was under fire, but i would also like to ask everyone to be mindful of the culture, how lgbtqia+ are treated and how exactly the treatment for anyone in that group goes in south korea. its dangerous, should they have asked actors who weren't out, and it's not against the writer or director for choosing someone who isn't trans. the story itself is the strongest i've seen, and i hope will bring more light to being open to these castings. read more here.
