AUGH, man. I knew this Innocent World dress was a risk, the seller listed the bust measurement about 1/2”-1” smaller than my bust. But I thought I could squish myself in.

I’m not going to get too heartbroken because:

1. I can sew.

2. I have an IDENTICAL FABRIC in my stash RIGHT NOW for a different project. I’ve found almost the exact same lace on Etsy. Or I could use a cute cotton cluny lace instead.

3. This is a simple pattern to recreate. New Look 6786 should do the trick with some hacking! If I felt really ambitious I also have instructions from Otome No Sewing.

Kind of a bummer, but I have a gorgeous piece of brand in my hands now and I can use it as a perfect reference to create my new dream dress!
