Hey all, Crips for Esims for Gaza has been purchasing E-sims for people in Gaza and need help to continue their advocacy!
We link them in our Hi Nay episodes but want to remind people to help out if they can and donate! They're an offshoot of the E-sims for Gaza program created by Mirna El-Helbawi, and allow you to, if you are overwhelmed by the E-sims purchasing process, streamline it.
You donate to Crips for Esims for Gaza, and they do it for you. Help these fantastic disabled activists if you're able!

Link in replies so Tumblr doesn't hide this!

There were five gunmen who advanced to a displaced people's house and blew it up with bombs and also opened fire on them. My heart almost stopped. There were many injured people.

💔 "Gaza today is not just a news story we pass by. Gaza is a mother crying for her child, a child searching for the embrace he lost under the rubble, and a young man dreaming of just a moment of safety.
Our people in Gaza don't ask for much... only that we remember them in our prayers, that we raise our voices for them, that we not leave them alone in this pain.
Oh God, be their support and help, protect them with your care, and lift this affliction from them.
💔 "In Gaza, there are children who fall asleep to the sounds of bombing instead of stories, and mothers awaiting the return of loved ones who may never return. The people of Gaza need nothing but God's mercy and our sincere prayers. Oh God, have mercy on their weakness, mend their broken hearts, and be their supporter and helper.
#Gaza_in_our_hearts"
#Gaza_Cries_For_Help #Pray_For_The_People_of_Gaza"

This is our situation and the situation of our husbands, from displacement to displacement with some of our necessities and belongings
Please do not skip my message. I desperately need you. I ask you to stand by my side in these difficult circumstances for me and my children.

"إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ "
My nephew, Nidal Baroud (11 years old), was martyred by the occupation forces' bullets near the Netzarim junction.
The treacherous bullet pierced his heart and exited his back while he was playing with his friends😭💔
His father, my brother Nidal, has been missing and there has been no news of him since the beginning of the war😔

Many people have turned away from Palestine and Gaza. Two years of genocide is, apparently, boring. The people in Gaza don’t have the luxury to turn away — this is their life and their reality.
I stay apprised through friends in Gaza and news sources. As such, I’m aware of the fact that the Nasser Medical Complex was bombed. Six journalists died — Hussam al-Masri, Mohammad Salama, Mariam Abu Daqqa, Ahmed Abu Aziz and Moaz Abu Taha.
Journalists have one of the most important — and most dangerous — jobs in Palestine. They give so many people information on the genocide on the ground. To see so many of them murdered by Israel is heartbreaking. But as heartbroken as I am, I’m also terrified — for my friends in Gaza.
One of these friends is my dear friend Ibrahim. He is 15 years old, with two sick parents, and he’s constantly battling famine, sickness, thirst, and threat of death to try and survive. He should be in school. He should be with his friends. He should be relaxing at home. But his school, his friends, and his home — all of them have been taken from him by Israel. Please donate what you can to help my friend.

reject the western gaze!
mutual aid means no hierarchy between givers and receivers
a new mutual aid org, Bridge of Solidarity, has been established in the gaza strip by 17 year old poet yazan mohammed in response to the exploitative practices conducted by some charities and encouraged by the existing charity-based model of fundraising for gaza. according to BoS: "the western attention economy and pity economy plays a large role in who lives or dies in gaza." essentially, people need to make themselves marketable in order to receive lifesaving aid; people who are not marketable die. yazan himself wrote about the damage this can do to one's self image, which you can read here.
after trying for a year to respect his own privacy, my friend siraj was also pressured into posting images of his son's emaciated body in order to gain sympathy from westerners.
we cannot keep forcing people to do this anymore.
here's a declaration of their values from bridge of solidarity's most recent post:
Our organization is against the Western gaze. We refuse to humiliate people. We refuse to force people to take photos. We refuse to force people to take photos with our flyer or logo. People will receive aid freely without being forced to pose. We will respect people's privacy completely. Our principles include autonomy, dignity, sovereignty, mutual respect, and mutual aid.
this org will prioritize giving aid to people without phones or social media, who do not speak english, and who do not have outside support or living parents. these are the people who are not palatable to westerners but who deserve to live with as much dignity as everyone else
as of five days ago, BoS are working on a water truck delivery

ultimately the best way to prevent abuse is to organize society in such a way that everyone's needs are met wothout having to rely on a parent or employer or boyfriend or any one individual. obviously wont stop, like, manipulation or so on, but the ability to dangle basic needs over someone's head is one of the most powerful and consistant tools of abuse out there. if someone is able to just leave, and know that they will have access to food and shelter and clean water and education, that will enable so, so mamy victims of abuse to do just that.

I watched a documentary on it last night, and the visuals from it- of survivors trapped under the rubble for up to two weeks, of victims crushed by the weight, of the community weeping for their loved ones, of the community coming together to dig their people out of the wreckage, of yearning for at least a piece to take home and bury... It broke my heart, really. And that was just one day; imagine being the people of Gaza, having to undergo this kind of stress every day for the past almost two years, now, from a targeted genocide!
But there's something you can do about Gaza right now, though. @aburakhiaibrahim has been fundraising to care for himself and his family for a while, now. Even a small donation is better than zero. Donate if you can, share if you will not 🙏🏾

The 30-day trip
📍Hello everyone, I am talking to you from the exhausted heart of Gaza, and this is my trip with you in an attempt to alleviate the material part of pain and suffering, where our special and daily need is brought thanks to God, then thanks to the donors, and then thanks to those who share the posts to reach the donors. I got 50% of the required campaign amount with great difficulty today. Today, I will start the journey of collecting the second half of the required amount. I hope that it will be a better Friday to help you all. If each of you donates any amount, it will be easy to get the other half and life here will be easier, as daily supplies are purchased to fill hunger at very astronomical prices because of war merchants, and once again thank you all
£7500 on 27/7/2025
The donation link here is your simple donation will be useful

I can't stop thinking about the connection between early American settlers in the midwest and the creation of the myth of Johnny Appleseed as a way to explain away the miles and miles of indigenous food gardens as the creation of early settlers and the early Zionist settlers in Palestine who wanted to build Jewish-only farming communities and the use of the word sabra (a term used during the mandate system for a Jewish person who was born in Palestine) in global marketing to sell middle eastern foods grown exclusively by settlers rather than by indigenous Palestinians. How both are used to 'indigenize' settlers in the wider culture to the regions they invaded and erase the actual indigenous people who grew apples or corn or olive trees or chickpeas

the thing with that law criminalizing trans women not """disclosing""" is that it ultimately ends with transfem sex workers, especially unhoused transfem sex workers who are already struggling to survive AND at disproportionate risk of violence and abuse and murder, being at an even higher risk of being arrested for sex crimes before they get forcefully detransitioned and sent to male prisons to be assaulted even as they are the actual victims of sexual and systemic violence.

Amal just can't catch a break. The school where her family was taking shelter was bombed. Fortunately they have escaped with their lives but all their (meager to begin with) belongings have been destroyed. They now have absolutely nothing to go on with. Amal is pregnant. This is dire.
Please, please donate here (posted by @bilal-sala7).
I am extremely worried about one of the most incredible women I've had the privilege of knowing.

i have recently been in contact with jamal al-dahdouh, a sweet young man from the gaza strip. he is the oldest child in a family of six, with ages ranging from 18 to 4 years old, and they have been living in a tent since an airstrike destroyed their house. recently, there was a bombing near jamal’s tent, which destroyed it, too. the situation is critical, and he has reached out to me to spread his campaign. i’m helping him, but i alone am not enough. i urge you to share his campaign if you can’t donate, and to donate whatever you’re able when you can. no one reading this is powerless to help someone who desperately needs it.
in his words:
I am not asking for much — I only want a chance to live, a chance to continue my education, to get medical treatment, and to protect the remaining members of my family. That is why I appeal to kind-hearted people to extend a helping hand. Your donation, no matter how small, could be the reason save our lifes.
