Sawyerberry Headcanons pt2

-Huck is constantly crashing at Tom’s house

-Due to the abuse his father put him through, huck has a tendency to break down emotionally. He flinches whenever someone puts their hand near him, though Tom’s hugs are always gentle and warm to him

-Neither of them like to be seen crying

-in addition Huck has only ever seen Tom cry and vice versa

-tom is afraid of spiders

-huck hates anything supernatural/paranormal

-Tom drags Huck out to dance in the rain w him

-huck has a lot of scars bc of his dad

-Tom has punched people in the face for bad mouthing Huck, and he'll do it again, bop bop bitch

-tom sawyer will play dirty and do absolutely anything to get his way, and that includes whining as loudly and terribly as it takes. When he’s feeling particularly determined, he’ll pull out all the stops say “come on, hucky….” and the nickname makes huck break every time rip

-tom learns everything about romance from books

-Huck doesn’t like to be touched bc he grew up without affection/love but Tom is the only one that rly gets to touch him in the sense of hugging and slinging an arm around Huck’s shoulder

-Tom is a massive flirt to anyone and everyone, especially Huck but the minute his hand brushes Huck’s, Tom is a blushing mess

-Huck actually knows his way around romance really well

-“I’d rather go to hell and be with Tom than be in heaven without him”

-Huck has black hair, blue eyes and beauty marks while Tom has strawberry blond hair, green eyes and freckles

-Tom is a very picky eater while Huck will eat anything you put in front of him

Huck was his drug. One touch and his intoxication was instant. Whatever he wanted to do is what they’d do and there isn't a thing Tom could do to stop him - not that he’d want to.

The grass around them is damp rather than wet and the fall leaves still have a crunch to them. Above him, all Tom could see is his face, the leaves above and the sky almost midnight blue, the moon a milky crescent. They’re breaths rise in visible puffs and though there’s a soft wind, they were warm. They were at the perfect age for outdoor sex; silk sheets and petals and curtains dancing in the wind was something for older couples, something that sounded beautiful but unachievable. Something that should stay in fairy tales. Tomorrow this memory will be what gets them through their days, and in their old age it will be the reason behind their grins and snickers.
