#FundFreelanceDance 2020 from Jamiel Laurence on Vimeo.
#FundFreelanceDance is a new crowdfunding initiative set up to get freelance Dance Artists and their supporting Artists & Services back into the studio safely, returned to their craft and back working on paid engagements.
#FundFreelanceDance launched for the first time in London over four dates, engaging 19 freelance artists across the disciplines of Dance, Choreography, Music, Teaching, Photography and Film.
But its not over yet...!
Having achieved its initial funding goal of £7,220 making all of this possible, #FundFreelanceDance is now raising its target to a total £11,620 in order to fund the second edition of the initiative aimed at engaging 23 Artists and to take the film aspect of the message #FundFreelanceDance is sharing one step further.
If we don't act now, an entire generation of Artists will be lost, and there will simply be no arts sector left to save.
Thank you for watching our film, and to find out more please visit FundFreelanceDance.com

Coffeecompany: The Coffee Story (EN) from From Form on Vimeo.
Dutch version: vimeo.com/87159865
Making of: vimeo.com/87029440
A film that tells the story of the Dutch coffee brand Coffeecompany.
The film leads us through the coffee process from bean to cup. From how the berries are farmed to the variety of brewing methods they serve in their stores.
Taking their distinctive coffee table as a basis, we decided to tell the whole story within the concept of a table.
So we started building a long table, 17 meters to be exact, and moulded all of the graphics into the table tops. Scale models were glued, ticking clocks programmed and coffee berries were sculpted.
For the shoot, a 19 meters long automated dolly was custom built, so we could capture all of the magic in one table top shot. With our best friends and baristas united, we created a 3 minute one taker that tells the complete coffee story.

WIRED — What's Inside Coffee from Steffen K on Vimeo.
Coffee is the lifeblood of most of our mornings, but do you know what's actually inside that cup of coffee you're drinking each day? You'd be surprised.
Wired & Radical Media commissioned me to design and animate a short infographic film following the magazines format "What's Inside". With several subjects to choose from I picked coffee and put over a fresh pot to kick the project off.
