“Why are you here Duchess.” the words came less of a question and more the statement, one she met with a huff as she very nearly turned then, the bowl clutched in her hands thrust out as her lip curled “Well excuse me for bringing you food! Clearly your bravado will more than fill your stomach.” she hissed. Jabbing the bowl into the stomach of the man before her she spun with a huff, stomping away before he could do much more than catch the glassware “It won’t be a mistake I make again!”

“Wake up.” she called, smirking lightly as she prodded the man’s chest with her boot, the sunlight streaming through the nearby window hitting him squarely in the eyes as well “Come on, I made breakfast, And by made I went out and bought it.” hearing the answering growl she pranced back a few steps as he started to move, tail flicking behind her as she snickered “It’s not my fault you decided to join a drinking contest, I told you it was a bad idea.” she mocked in singsong before spinning on her toes.

Humming softly to herself as she opened containers, ears flicking with the slow sounds of the other waking she smiled “Come on, the faster you get up the faster we can eat and get going. Besides you don’t want to miss your fancy meeting for lunch do you?” she grinned looking over her shoulder to make kissy faces “Don’t want to let down the lady..” she teased before cackling slightly.

Though just as always the memory faded just as he started to speak, the warm feeling of the sun on her skin fading as she blinked up at the ceiling only to chuckle softly “Good Morning, Xani..”

what are you mourning? where will you put the sky when your shoulders give out? atlas, quick-tongue, kind and kind and kind and how, you wonder, will you make them love you? there is a line between manipulation and everything else, and to get the things you needed (shelter. food. a hand off the ground.) you twisted things until you forgot how to do anything else. stop laughing, love. someone will hold you when you run out of clever words.

Day five

5. Describe your favorite Hobby.

Pah smirks “People watching!” she chirped easily and rather quickly. “You never know what your going to overhear just standing at the edge of the bar or loitering around the city. Gossip, scandals, break ups, make ups!” she cackles with true glee at the idea “People never pay much attention outside who is right in front of them, especially in moments with high emotions..I can just sit back and listen to all the juicy details and never have to be involved.” She paused and added a bit more sheepishly “Though sometimes I just stand back and create stories for random people, the harried woman dragging her children down the street, the nervous new adventure steeping out the gates alone for the first time..I just like watching people..seeing them live their lives I guess.”

4. Describe your characters favorite tool or weapon.

Pah quirked a brow looking between the man at the bar before slowly turning her head to look at the bow on her back, the curved wood and metal hard to miss over her shoulder though she just smirked “I loved running around the bar with my needle and thread, fixing clothing mishaps before people went on stage, attaching skirts to bodices when the ties rip.” she sighs out a wistful sound.  “Currently it would be my bow.” She adds after a moment “Its a useful tool that I am..unable and unwilling to part with.” she smirked slightly “I am not one to face issues head on, far too easy to break I’ve found..no the distance it affords me is for the best.” she grins “my aim is rather good as well.”

3. Describe your characters closet.

“Reduced..destroyed..left in tatters.” Pahna offered with a light snort before tipping back in the chair she had claimed ownership of “Most of my wardrobe was stolen or sold..Though what can you expect when you go missing without a word?” she shrugged, smirking crookedly before sighing “My current clothing is much more functional anyway, leather, utility belts, anything and everything I need kept in a bag that never leaves my side. Better for me in the long run.” she finishing dismissively, her gaze not at all distant as she thinks of the missing silks and pearls or her earlier years.
