What a year!
Wow, what a eventful year 2015 has been for me. To start off the year we found out we were expecting our first child. Of course we were beyond thrilled that God had finally answered our prayers. At the same time I was nervous, could I handle being pregnant with a spouse deployed overseas for 6 months. My husband left shortly after we found out our exciting news, but of course I kept him up to date with everything. At about 15 weeks we were told there was a 1.1% chance of our son having trisomy 21. We pushed through. We knew God had given us this child for a reason. 6 months go by, my husband finally returned home to me. And 4 short weeks later I went into labor. Once our son was born it was confirmed that he did in fact have down syndrome, but that wasn't going to stop me from loving that sweet boy with all my heart. In just 4 months our son has done so much. He now make baby noises and has recently discovered his feet. I couldn't thank God enough for all he has blessed us with this year. I cant wait to see what 2016 brings for us. Also I'm 3 years sober which is amazing.

Mothers day 2015
I know I'm not yet a mother, but I feel like I am. Today my little miracle was more active than he has been in a few days. Makes me realize that a year from now, I'll have my sweet boy here for my first mothers day.

Little he or little she, we shall see!
A little over a week ago I went to find out if we will have a boy or girl. Well as soon as the ultrasound machine was on me little man was showing off his goods! We've decided to name his Parker Lee, and we couldn't be any happier to have a little boy!

Today I'm 11 weeks pregnant! We couldn't be happier than to finally have the chance to be amazing parents. Less than a year ago we lost our first blessing at 9 weeks gestation. But now everything seems to be going good. I go for my first appointment tomorrow afternoon. We couldn't be happier that to get our first look at our little blessing(:
