his gaze bore into her , and she is unable to even slightly look up at him , even to just take a look at what he is expressing on his face. he is analyzing her , like he is a predator and she is the prey. it did not help that she was lost as to why she was even here , his intimidation on top of this adding to how petrified she was. she clenches her hands at her side to keep from shaking , backing herself up even more as she stresses at her bottom lip. was he going to kill her ? “ a — apologize ? a — afraid ? i ….. “ she breaks herself off , as she has not a clue what she would even be able to say. yes , yes she did. though this time she had a reason , as she angered him. she opens her mouth to say more , though again , she is not sure what she would even confess. she will have to try though , yes ? “ ……. d — do not hurt me , please ? o — or kill me. “

            Oh GREAT, now she was begging. How disgusting. Like a snake in the grass, Peter slowly began to walk around her like she was a mouse that he wanted to destroy in one bite. “. . . You?” He said nearly mockingly as he took slowly steps around her with a raise of his eyebrow. He continued his clockwise path as he watched her every motion -- from the way her eyes searched the surroundings to the way that she stammered over her words. FEAR. He could smell it radiating off of her from a mile away. It had been a long while since he had had a fun little game of playtime with someone. This would be exciting. “. . . Now, would do you think I’d do that? I would never hurt someone.” He lied through his teeth. “Don’t you know. . .?” He said as leather boots stopped dead so that they were directly holding one another’s eye contact. “. . . I’m the most well-behaved boy on the island.”

“Yeah, probably. Good thing we don’t have to worry about that because I will never leave you. In like a cute romantic way, not like a creepy way.”

            Fingers tightened in his grasp as ocean eyes beamed up at Ivon like he was the only thing in the world that had ever mattered to the young princess. “I’m only cute because you’re cute! We’re cute. to.gether.” She giggled as she reached up to touch his nose with her finger in a light poke. “That’s okay because I won’t ever leave you either! We’re stuck together like glue!”

His smile only seemed to get BRIGHTER as she moved closer, he was only like THIS in her presence, PREFERABLY when they were alone, where he somewhat RELAXED.

“Air ta breathe? Ova’rated. Ye, on the otha ‘and? Couldn’t go without tha’… Migh’ DIE, even.”

            He smiled and Uma melted, even daring to bring out her own smile that she reserved just for him and him alone. “The air you breathe is overrated?” Uma laughed as she trailed her hand through his hair in time with the waves of the ocean. “As always, Harry, your dramatics aren’t missed on me.” ‘I’d die without you too.’

was he contemplating what to say ? it seems so , thus she casts down her eyes as he takes his time to tell her what he has to convey. judging by his demeanor , she cannot help but think she will not get a straight to the point answer. a squeak leaves her at his actual response , valerie stepping back with a flinch. why did she even speak ? the intimidation he gave off as apparent , thus she should have seen this as a red flag. “ o — of course sir , it was not my p – place , my sincerest apology. “ she dips her head down even more , ashamed she had been so bold and she had the nerve to inquire about this.

            Forest green hues looked at her almost disapprovingly as she spoke. Such timidness. . . That wouldn’t do. People who were this timid on his island hardly lasted a year. No worry. He could live with that. He needed the cage. “. . .Do you always apologize like you’re afraid?” The king asked with a little sinister smile tugging at his lips, “--It makes you sound kind of STUPID. If you’re going to apologize, do it with thought behind it and without you tripping over your words like a drunken pirate.”

“Being alive when you’re around IS hella rad, yeah,” he replied, putting his arm around her shoulder.

“That’s also true. Guess we know who the SMART one is. What WOULD I do without you?”

            “Us being alive together is the most rad thing of all!” She giggled as she laced her fingers with his and bounced on the balls of her feet. “The same thing as I would do without you -- go to candy stores by ourselves and wonder where the other is!”

Nothing that you need to be considered about.” His voice was COLD, dark. . . He didn’t need people bothering him about his battles. He was a big boy, he could handle himself.

            Uma rose a singular dark brunette eyebrow as she looked down at the wild land to her ocean. “. . . Hello, Harry. Did you need something?” HIm being a distraction wasn’t something that he needed but he was definitely something that he succeeded at.

“Then~ it sounds to me like we have a date to get some Jolly Ranchers,  some gummies, and anything else we see that we want!”
