The Old Masters -> Out in The Past 

both episodes start with Gaang and Krew looking for the Avatar while they both have spiritual journeys with their past lives. The Gaang and Krew didn’t find the Avatar until the end, but achieve their missions on finding other people (Gaang = Iroh and Lin = Metalbenders)
