i don't know man, i just wish that we could [suddenly realising i'm coming dangerously close to expressing a real and earnest thought instead of filtering everything through several layers of intangible running bits] blow up the entire world. or something.

Imagine Zack or Genesis or someone else tripping in front of Sephiroth, grabbing onto his coat and falling down- with the coat following after them.
(Seriously where did Sephiroth get the idea it would be good to wear only a harness under his coat ? Like what if it fell or got pulled off?)
Sephiroth's clothes have to be pretty tightly secured on to him since it's a work uniform, so there's no chance of that happening (realistically) BUT CAN YOU IMAGINE.
*Zack accidentally trips in front of Sephiroth and grabs on to his coat, pulling it down*
Zack: Oh!
*A dozen items fall from the inside of the coat—a credit card, his ID, his apartment access card, hair ties, a pen, a pack of gum, a crossword puzzle book, half a chocolate bar, the ripped out Loveless page from Genesis' book that he was crying over that morning, his PHS, A polaroid of Angeal looking disappointed that he uses whenever he needs to stop himself from making an impulsive purchase, a Tamagotchi, coupons, and a bottle of pills*
Zack: What the fuck
Sephiroth: I don't have pockets, Zack.

I have a lot of feelings about the rise of he would not fucking say that attitudes in fandom spaces and the paralysing effect it can have on creators. As a writer i think it’s important to just write what feels true to you and not what you think others will “approve” of. Like even as a reader i have enjoyed a variety of different characterisations that all work because the writer makes them work for a particular story. And a fic that’s written out of character to some will be in character to others. Writing fic is not your job you’re not being paid it’s your hobby please. Make them as close to canon as possible. Make them completely different. Who cares! Have fun! Have so much fun! There is an audience for every kind of fic and every kind of character interpretation i promise

The type of parents who argue that simply putting food on the table and keeping a roof over their kids' head is sufficient parenting are always so shocked when their children no longer want to deal with them once they've got their own place and can buy their own groceries. Like what else did you expect to happen? You told the people who had no other choice than rely on you for food and shelter that asking for any more than that is unreasonable of them, and then they don't go to you for anything once they can get those some other way. What would they go to their parents for?
They've got food at the house.

We were discussing fanfiction, haha! Not the games/canon
reader is from our world right? so if our phone still has the same apps as it normally does
imagine if the reader had like a pokedex app
and after laventon talks about making a pokedex they just show the app like "you mean this?"
The answer to this one isn't easy, given that regardless of what was on the device before transmigration, it'd been altered to perform as Arceus believed necessary-- it's likely the Arcphone remained unable to serve any purpose beyond what Arceus intended for it as a tool, meaning any app that had existed before could have been erased if it meant it would impede in some way. Or, since you are historically the first to compile the Pokedex despite it not being recorded in history, the app ceases to exist in the time period you've now inhabited. The problem is also that there's no saying how intact your memory is after experiencing the alteration of Arceus' will. If you had forgotten anything, it's unlikely you'd be aware of it, as you'd have no memories of that which had been forgotten. Perhaps you could feel a mild sense of displacement or void in your mind, like there'd been a blockage or something missing that had supposed to exist there in the recesses of your conscience, but if Arceus wanted (assuming it had enough power to do so) it could make you forget about such an app ever existing in the first place.
That isn't to say that it'd completely erase those chunks of information, rather you'd have to unearth them through the progression of your research, thus aiding in your compiling of the first Sinnohan compendium.
Of course, history would forget your contributions and attribute them to the Professor, but there'd perhaps be mentions of a peculiar researcher who had aided in the gathering of field data whose name and face remained lost to a bygone age. Lost in a library fire or by building collapse, the precious photographs you'd collected, the writings from your very hand, all of it would be damaged beyond the point of tracing back to you, yet still, remnants of you would remain in the modern day. All a deliberate deterioration from that same mysterious will that had summoned you those many years ago. Tattered letters written to a dear friend. A stamp of two golden ginkgo leaves on a faded envelope. Someone still remains, scouring the region of Sinnoh, looking to uncover the great mystery of that fabled individual forgotten in time.
