These are images I created using the Vitruvius AI app, which you can use free. -------- BREATHTAKING AI ARCHITECTURE APP - VITRUVIUS - 'Gotta see this, it's fabulous. - It's an app you type in text to ask it to design a building, and within seconds you have several beautiful designs, both exterior and floor layout and interior views. THE VIDEO ABOUT IT IS A JAW-DROPPER, ALSO SEE THE SITE LINK - First look at the YouTube video (this link skips the intro) https://youtu.be/wUjvmYv3_-I?t=3983- Then try out Vitruvius yourself (no cost, they deliberately encourage maximum public use so the AI learns maximally what people like) https://vitruvius.iconbuild.com/ (The circular 'pool' in the top image isn't actually water, it's a skylight the AI created because I asked for a mansion that had underground workshops and offices, etc.)

RAIL HAS A SERIOUS COMPETITOR - CHEAP AIR TAXIS - For about 70 years I've always loved rail, but now I expect we'll see these new technologies offering better emergency and general transport: ◘ Consider the increasing, relentless climate change ruin of road & rail, at huge cost (e.g. NZ$33 billion for Gabrielle cyclone). ◘ How are we going to feel next (likely worse) time, about paying another, say, NZ$50 billion after having recently repaired the road and rail? ◘ These new aircraft, 'already created, in production, evolving fast ◘ The concept isn't 'owning' these aircraft, but air taxi fleets (already some are autonomous, cutting use-cost, see this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXQ97iYQu2c ). - Quiet versions, e.g. Joby 55dBa, are becoming available (see video https://youtu.be/0bTOdASL6J8?t=66 ) - Few people know yet, but plentiful info if you search web. - So think hard before you recommend spending billions more on rail and road that climate change will surely again massively damage - cutting off populations, bankrupting local, regional and central governments, impoverishing the national economy.

bsv - simple reasons why it may replace bitcoin
THE BITCOIN PAYMENT SYSTEM
What ‘Bitcoin’ is
- The bitcoin network (capital B ‘Bitcoin’) was created to enable people to rapidly and safely transmit value to each other directly, person-to-person without the delay the fees, and the loss of privacy of going through banks.
- Each transaction paid through the network is… ▫ Scrutinized by hundreds of independent computers, to detect any duplication or false identities ▫ If okay, included in a ‘block’ (bundle) of transactions waiting to be registered on the ‘block chain’ ▫ Posted as part of that block, into the blockchain ▫ Stored there forever, as a reliable record - absolutely unchangeable by anyone.
- ‘A bitcoin’ (lower case) is a digital ‘coin’ used to make payment, through the bitcoin network. You can use a part of a bitcoin, e.g. 0.0001 bitcoin. Each bitcoin is a very special, unique mathematical code, discovered by hours of computer processing (requiring lots of electricity energy). Think of it as a small item of software. - An important, absolutely unchangeable characteristic of the Bitcoin computation system is that it limits the total number of bitcoin that can ever be created, to  21 million bitcoins. (Of those 18 million have already been located and are in use.) - So a bitcoin is as ‘rare and special’ as gold. That rareness means it can serve as money, just as gold has for hundreds of years. - But being ‘software’, it is a kind of money that can be stored super-compactly in a PC or mobile phone, and pieces of bitcoin can be sent almost instantly as payments via internet.
Must-know: Two competing versions of Bitcoin (btc and bsv)
- A (close-to-the-original) version called bsv (bitcoin Satoshi vision)
- A (stripped down, less capable) version called btc, that has been hugely adopted globally.
The big ‘showdown’ defects of btc
-  Security: The btc network seems far less secure for massive use by the public, meaning the financial authorities will disapprove of it but  instead accept the very much safer bsv network. -  Scalability:  The btc network is not scalable for heavy future traffic even using the proposed Lightning Network. But the bsv network, (heavily patented, not copiable) is infinitely scalable to provide very fast transaction speed, at teeny fees cost, for ‘unlimited’ volume of payments traffic – and without need for add-on, extra-risk software to achieve that.  "The divisibility in Bitcoin can be increased to 16 or more decimal places" - Dr Craig Wright.
How a transaction gets processed and stored forever
- In both bsv and btc, nodes (work sites) that process payments: ▫ The node inspects an arriving transaction for dishonest duplicity. ▫ If the transaction is okay, the node bundles it with others to create a ‘block’ of transactions. ▫ The node then queues that block to be stored forever as the next block of the ‘block chain’.
Why bsv payments travel more safely - ‘decentralized’ network
- Most of the world’s networks are ‘centralized’ (a center node handles traffic between all the user nodes). There usually are sub-branch nodes too. - This is risky, because any intermediary node be attacked, invaded for looting. This disaster is constantly in the news. - In contrast, the bsv network is almost eliminates go-between nodes. It is constructed to be a circle of participants, very directly cross-connected. On average, a message goes through less than three intermediary nodes. - But the btc network has an entire ‘grid’ of nodes and sub-nodes that are attackable.
The btc network’s hidden human risk
- Voting rights decide the administration of the btc network. - The amount of influence a node owner has is assigned by the quantity of blocks they post. - In the btc network, there are hugely more nodes than in the bsv network, but most of them don’t actually add blocks of transactions to the blockchain - they only earn rewards by scrutinizing transactions and flagging them as okay. Such nodes can be ‘asked opinion’ about how the network should be run, but can be ignored by the elite voting nodes.
How elite voting can hijack btc
- The btc elite could secretly conspire to sell off much of their own holdings, then vote to double the number of available btc (which would crash the market price). - They could then use their money to buy huge quantities of the now-cheap btc, and soon profit hugely as the market price recovered. - Also, the elite nodes are able to create multiple puppet-like, passive ‘Sybil nodes’- fake identities - to falsely appear as ‘consensus’ justifying their vote to modify the network.
‘Can’t do that in the bsv network – it’s locked forever (immune)
- There is a permanent legal contract known as ‘Unilateral Contract’. (‘Unilateral’ means ‘one-way’ - one entity.) It means Satoshi Nakamoto, the entity, has legally, forever, contracted to the public, never to alter the bsv network system. - Any attempt to do such tampering would be very visible, and arrested promptly. - That good Unilateral Contract is binding regardless of who or where Satoshi Nakamoto is, or even if he were dead. (Explanations are at https://craigwright.net/blog/law-regulation/forking-and-passing-off/  ) - And it’s not possible to have puppet nodes you can display as support for your voting.
The bsv network – all the voting power is truly ‘earned’
- The amount of voting power is proportional to the real, physical amount of costly energy they have actually used doing the heavy work of gathering and posting transactions. - It’s democratic - any node owner in the bsv network can earn voting power in this way. There are no puppet nodes.
Who stripped out the Contract to create the btc network?
- Bitcoin network management had been entrusted to Gavin Andreason, by Satoshi Nakamoto, but was taken over unfairly by an Australian corporation called Blockstream.  - After taking control, they paid developers to alter the btc network functionality to their commercial advantage. (Satoshi had put Gavin Andreason in charge of those keys, but members of the core developers revoked his administrative access, crippling his ability. They then modified Satoshi’s copyright to suit their purposes.) - This enabled them to redefine what a btc is, and the number of coins in circulation. - Of the approximately 100 ‘elite’ core developers, notables include Wladimir Van der Laan, and Greg Maxwell. It seems likely there will eventually be prosecutions arising from it.
How did they do it?
- It was a network change called ‘segregated witness’ – which redefined the definition of a bitcoin. - Satoshi Nakamoto had originally defined a bitcoin strictly as a ‘chain of digital signatures.  That is, the ownership of a btc is authenticated by reliable signatures of actual, real, previous owners (just like a car ownership or house title deed that shows all the previous owners). - But ‘segregated witness’ simply enabled a group of node owner (‘strangers’ - not previous owners of the bitcoin) to say they approved the new ownership of a bitcoin. - Important… The sender’s signature is not included in the transaction data. That means any future scrutiny cannot disclose the identity of the sender was, making transactions anonymous, which suits criminal activity. - The anger about that loss of accountability and security resulted in the creation a new species of bitcoin called Bitcoin cash (bch) coin. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VoFb3mcxluY - That coin was popular for a while, but evolved into bsv.
The bsv network scrutiny of a transaction is more trustworthy
- To post a block of transactions into the blockchain, a posting node does a ‘hash’ (mathematical computation) that meticulously scrutinizes each transaction’s descriptive details, to detect any wrongful duplicate copies. - This scrutiny requires a lot of computation work. - So, before a block of transactions goes onto the blockchain, the bsv network system calculates the amount of energy needed, and then assigns that task to a hard-working ‘miner’ node to do it (paid because it consumes lots of electric power).
The btc checking of blocks is less trustworthy
- But the btc network does not scrutinize fully like that. It just accepts some cross-check  ‘voting’ by a few nodes, and allows the transactions to go onto the blockchain. Note: The approving voters can even be non-posting nodes, who, as mentioned above, may be mere puppets created by the elite of posting nodes, to do approvals.
The bsv accountability to users and the public
- As with all big computer networks criminal hacking can happen, crippling either the btc or the bsv network. - So there has to be ‘some’ human-staffed supervision that can restore service. - The ‘Bitcoin Association for bsv’ is a not-for-profit organization with a board of directors. They are tasked with protecting the Bitcoin protocol, empowering builders, and promote use of Bitcoin. www.bitcoinassociation.net - They are publicly known. They have a public address. They are visibly accountable to the public - They are legally mandated by original Bitcoin’s contracted original specifications to operate the bsv network according to the original specifications. - That ensures bsv obeys all normal financial rules that ensure the public has fair scrutiny of financial activities, to prevent deceptions and theft. - Note: The Bitcoin Association (like everyone else) still cannot erase or alter the permanently recorded blockchain records. The system has been designed so that ◌  Such tampering is impossibly expensive in energy required to attempt it. ◌  Any such behavior would be immediately noticed in the bsv network because it is so publicly open to view.
The forever-locking of bsv’s protocol (by legal mandate)
- Because btc is a court-provable, unlawful distortion that evades public accountability. regulators will eventually close btc down by enforcing normal, long-established financial rules to ensure the public has fair scrutiny of financial activities, to prevent deceptions and theft. - Craig Wright holds patents for that bitcoin technology. He says he will go to court to expose unlawful distortion and discontinue that activity. - He also claims ownership of the database of the Bitcoin network, and has said he will in court defend those database rights.
Craig Wright has the ability to court-challenge the btc network
- He has a masters degree in commercial law, as well as two PhDs and eight other masters degrees. - He has had decades of deepest-level technical competence from developing bitcoin from the start. - He has 61 technical certifications in IT and security.
‘Under the hood’ of the bsv network: ‘safe, direct’ connections
- When sending a message, it’s safer to have few go-betweens (Delay, loss, privacy, crime.) - Between a bsv sender and receiver, the Bitcoin network has the option of true ‘peer-to-peer’ transactions (no intermediaries at all, not posted into the blockchain until the recipient). - That is, the bsv network is a giant, almost empty circle of participants round the edge, who each transact directly, straight-line from the ‘edge’ to others on the edge.. - This mathematically prevents corruption by ‘Sybil’ nodes (puppet nodes by manipulative persons wanting to exploit the traffic criminally). - For great speed, a transaction is chopped into hundreds of separate fragments, each easily sent to many nodes on the edge of the circle to transmit to the destination, where it is  recombined. - The bsv network also offers an ability not enjoyed in the btc network: The system can, if it likes, do very direct transactions ‘peer-to-peer’ (person-to-person) without the immediate delay of posting to the blockchain. This improves privacy, security, speed, and scalability of the network. It even means you can make a payment when you are offline, and it will go through later. It’s like writing a cheque that can be cashed later. - A peer-peer payment is like a roading bypass option eliminating need to go through a town. - Each miniscule fee of transit of any transaction is paid in ‘Satoshis. One Sat is one hundred-millionth of a bitcoin.
‘Under the hood’ of btc network: Risky, complex connections
- The btc network can send a transaction through as many as 80 ‘stranger’ nodes, at risk of such manipulation by the strangers and their possible Sybil puppets. - The btc network uses ‘the so-called lightning network’, which is a criss-cross ‘mesh’ of thousands of nodes that talk to each other. - The pathway a payment has to travel is as risky as the old days of postal mail, where a letter slowly zig-zagged through many strangers’ hands and towns before (hopefully) arriving. - Important: At each step along the way, each of the receiving nodes along the Lightning network route may fail because, at that moment, it is deficient in funds to enable forwarding the transaction. See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ug8NH67_EfE
The bsv network – Can use easy nicknames for addresses
- ‘Small world network’ means there’s a limited number of participants (like the first phones), so the value of the network is small at first. (People know each other’s names and identities.) -  But when thousands of people join in, the phone numbers get bigger, hard to remember. - The bsv network conveniently enables you to ‘nickname’ any address, and use the nickname (e.g. ‘Mom’ or ‘Landlord’)’ instead of using the complicated string of characters the computer uses to send them value. - In contrast, the btc network has addresses like 143ggtEeeGjEokHedkEEK7qZaTQSphafHo - The bsv network even offers the nice choice of filtering to choose who can send you which types of information, excluding what you don’t want.
With bsv, anyone can create a token to trade anything
- Unlike the btc network, the bsv network allows any user to easily (in minutes) ‘tokenize’ anything valuable they want to sell (e.g. tickets to a school show, or a liter of water billed in the house by a utility company). - This gives immense freedom to individuals and businesses, to monetize anything for sale to anyone who might be interested.  - Because bsv has extremely low transaction fees (e.g. 1/1000th of a cent), this is cheap for anyone to do.
Internet has a new wallet addressing protocol ipv6, to cope with huge numbers of new users. The bsv net can use it, btc cannot
- The expected growth of users and traffic of the Internet is requiring bigger codes for addresses of wallets. The new Internet Protocol version 6 enables those bigger address codes. But the btc network cannot use them. - Wikipedia says: “Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) is the most recent version of the Internet Protocol (IP), the communications protocol that provides an identification and location system for computers on networks and routes traffic across the Internet. IPv6 was developed by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) to deal with the long-anticipated problem of IPv4 address exhaustion”. - IPV6 protocol enables scaling up the capacity of the blockchain network. It enables 4Gb blocks on the blockchain - each able to contain thousands of transactions per block, speeding the transfers even in heavy traffic. - It uses 128-bit addressing to support approximately 340 trillion-trillion (or 2 to the 128th power). Instead of the IPv4 address method of four sets of one- to three-digit numbers, IPv6 uses eight groups of four hexadecimal digits, separated by colons. - Internet users won’t notice any difference to their computing, because IPV6 is just ‘plumbing’ that is behind the scenes. - Wright wants to see a million transactions per second on the bitcoin network ‘within the next year (2023), or even earlier’.
Early adoption of bsv slow (but so was the car and the phone)
- The bsv field is starting to attract popular interest as well as finance specialists - Detractors criticize bsv on the basis that there’s very little use of it. That is true,  but, like the first ever car, the crucial thing is the excellent usefulness (even to the first users), not whether it's widely adopted yet. - Also, the confusion aspect has slowed adoption of bitcoin.
Surprise… Bitcoin is not a ‘cryptocurrency’ it’s a ‘commodity’
- Bitcoin sv is not ‘crypto’.  - Although the addresses seem very complicated strings of characters, they are in fact just index addresses, not cryptography. - This means all transactions are open to warranted scrutiny of authorities who have reasonable cause to investigate. The authorities simply find out who owns the addresses.

Whether bsv crypto will skyrocket
- I'm investigating to see whether the cryptocurrency bsv (bitcoin Satoshi version) is going to be the next skyrocketing-price coin, just as ethereum skyrocketed for other reasons in March 2017. - When, is unknown yet, because of massive disinformation in Twitter (declared in court Oct 2022), but things can happen in hours of days in IT and blockchain. - There is a dramatic court case of many days going on at the moment, where a longstanding crypto expert https://bit.ly/3S6PlSe (an Australian called Craig Wright) is suing a social media meme-storm driver Magnus Granath, alias Hodlonaut, for defamation. - Hodlonaut widely spread malicious statements that Wright was NOT the famous inventor of bitcoin (whose online nickname is Satoshi Nakamoto). This resulted in extreme hatred of Wright, including threats to rape his wife and daughter. - But that's trivial compared with the money aspect. If Wright is in fact Satoshi Nakamoto, he owns about 1.2 billion bitcoin, worth about NZ$40B. There's abundant documented evidence and witness testimony that he is. - Even more important is... In the videos, Wright is credibly  revealing facts about bitcoin and other crypto that may drastically change their prices. That's why stakeholders in those competitors hate him so much. He is technically expert far beyond most of their abilities.
CRAIG WRIGHT IS CENTRAL TO A MAJOR REVALUATION OF BTC, BSV, ETH, OTHER - Basically the issue is whether there is going to be major change in the valuing of btc, bsv and eth (and indirectly also, Cardano, Avalanche, etc.) - I've already spent more than ten hours watching unedited video of the trial,  and doing cross-checking. - I am investigating the factors and likely future. - I will invest accordingly. I have already lightly acted preemptively in that regard, but am maintaining privacy about that for now -because there is so much emotional noise in the debate distracting from quiet, important technical and financial facts. THE REASONS FOR INVESTIGATING ARE TO BE ABLE TO INVEST WELL - As with an oil strike or a tornado, it's starts very confusing and murky, and then things happen very fast, just as they did in eth in March 2017. - I'm looking at weather maps and geology maps, to see where I want to be. WHY THE LAWSUIT BY WRIGHT IS IMPORTANT ◘ I suspect the stiff courtroom suing of Hodlonaut by Craig Wright (for weeks and months) may increasingly find Hodlonaut criminally guilty of damaging slander. ◘ But FAR more important... The proceedings are revealing credible evidence that Wright is Satoshi. THAT is the real, repeatedly declared intention Wright. IGNORE HODLONAUT, HE'S JUST A MEME-CLICK CRAZE DRIVER - Hodlonaut is just a typical meme-builder non-intellectual, building a sensational following.  He's already told the prosecutor he did not check the veracity of his memes, but was just following and amplifying a group-think sentiment. FOCUS ON THE TECHNOLOGICAL INVESTIGATION, AND WHAT IT LEADS TO - Two people, Gavin Andresen and or Jon Metonis, each personally witnessed Craig Wright doing a blockchain transaction using one of the original keys of Satoshi, unmistakably acting as Satoshi Nakamoto. They said so in public after. - Although pushed to go public about it, Wright firmly refused to be a celebrity - whose endless public appearances and flood of emails etc. would ruin his preferred private life of developing the technology. They went public anyway against his will. SUICIDE ATTEMPT, BUT NOW ULTRA-FORMAL PROOF OF AUTHORSHIP - He attempted suicide (hospitalized, cut neck in a coma). - Surviving that, he resumed his life specifically, emphatically, repeatedly insisting that the proof be not just a silly use of keys that could have been stolen and be forever doubted and scoffed at. - So, he thought about it, then deliberately destroyed those keys (wrecked a hard disk and a memory stick) to force REAL, irrefutable proof instead. - He says that destruction was the most important thing he's ever done in his life. - That is, he is insisting on, and forcing through court process, a proving by thorough, irrefutable, systematic, formal legal scrutiny of the abundant industry documentation and testimonies available since about 2004. - There's literally more than a million documents, and about 100 persons and institutions. Emails. IT files. Official records and many patents and contracts. All strengthening beyond doubt that he was the person originating Bitcoin. BUT WHAT ABOUT THE MONEY-MONEY-MONEY? - If it's proven beyond reasonable doubt that he's Satoshi Nakamoto, the world will listen to him a lot more. I will TOO, particularly about btc, bsv and eth, etc. - In the confusing blizzard of social media hate-hype against his not doing the signing-proof again, he dared to say eth is not scalable but that btc is. - I am respectful of his statement, having experienced.. ◘ Some of my eth transactions slow and costly when traffic became congested. ◘ All my hours taking notes of his speaking and court testimony ◘ Noting the click-bait malice-meme-maker Hodlonaut and others in Twitter etc. ◘ The cozy cult-rah-rah emotional group-think around Vitalik Buterin witnessed during the Deconomy crypto convention where Buterin was admired, and Wright was booed and jeered and told he shouldn't be allowed to even speak there. - Note well... He has said that bitcoin Satoshi version (bsv) is the 'real bitcoin' and that btc is just an altcoin without the most valuable functionality (of scalability). I want to know more about that. - So I'm investigating which horse(s) are going to win: bsv, btc, ethereum, and probably others may change their positions as we approach the finishing line. SUMMARY OF MAIN FACTORS - Whether bsv suddenly is in the headlines as proven vastly better functionally than both btc and eth. By 'better' I mean ◘ For distributed apps ◘ With massive scalability that Wright asserts ◘ With much faster transactions. ◘ With paper trail for enabling warranted official investigations. (Long recorded history of transactions is possible, because the record of a single block of bsv blockchain can be two-DVDs in size), he says. Remember, CPUs and memory fast-evolve to cope with that future AND power from sustainables will get cheaper. - Rocket price. It's only NZ$88 at the moment, compared with btc at NZ$38,000, eth NZ$2,347.   - Power consumption/carbon footprint/political interventions: See in this article how bsv blockchain operation uses a fraction of what btc blockchain does, AND it's much faster:  https://bit.ly/3LUW7co - The other coins like Cardano and Avalanche, whether they have functionality sufficient to survive, or instead they collapse, unable to compete with what could be 'the Windows of blockchain'. - This week, in court, Wright mentioned that he would be suing ethereum for theft of patented intellectual capital, saying 'That's billions'.

https://www.cryptologie.net/article/350/how-gavin-andresen-was-duped-into-believing-wright-is-satoshi/ Craig signed a message that I chose ("Gavin's favorite number is eleven. CSW" if I recall correctly) using the private key from block number 1. That signature was copied on to a clean usb stick I brought with me to London, and then validated on a brand-new laptop with a freshly downloaded copy of electrum. I was not allowed to keep the message or laptop (fear it would leak before Official Announcement).
https://jonmatonis.medium.com/how-i-met-satoshi-96e85727dc5a During the London proof sessions, I had the opportunity to review the relevant data along three distinct lines: cryptographic, social, and technical. Based on what I witnessed, it is my firm belief that Craig Steven Wright satisfies all three categories. For cryptographic proof in my presence, Craig signed and verified a message using the private key from block #1 newly-generated coins and from block #9 newly-generated coins (the first transaction to Hal Finney). The social evidence, including his unique personality, early emails that I received, and early drafts of the Bitcoin white paper, points to Craig as the creator. I also received satisfactory explanations to my questions about registering the bitcoin.org domain and the various time-of-day postings to the BitcoinTalk forum. Additionally, Craig’s technical working knowledge of public key cryptography, Bitcoin’s addressing system, and proof-of-work consensus in a distributed peer-to-peer environment is very strong.
According to me, the proof is conclusive and I have little doubt that Craig Steven Wright is the person behind the Bitcoin technology, Nakamoto consensus, and the Satoshi Nakamoto name.

MANAGING YOUR DOPAMINE
- Most of this summary is from an excellent vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QmOF0crdyRU by Dr. Andrew Huberman, prof. of neurobiology and opthalmology at Stanford University. - BUT I've added snips from other side-searches I did out of curiosity AND my own experiences and tips. - The video is explaining the functions of dopamine, the major hormone of reward (pleasure), and of craving things, and (very important) achieving things outside of yourself. It's within everyone's level of extraversion.
TOP TOP TOP points he made... 1. New powers: You can powerfully improve your personal motivation (and others') using some simple awareness of dopamine. - In other words, your memories of dopamine high or low are constantly causing your right-now feelings about what you are experiencing. - And this means you can contrive experiences (especially repeated) that in future will cause whatever feelings in future you want to happen. - For example, putting suitably influential images around you can do that. 2. Major technique for achievement success: - Strongly encourage yourself to connect the actual during-feeling of adversity itself with pride & joy, rather than bribing beforehand, or rewarding afterwards. 3. It spreads: - Triumphing over adversity spreads to all your other activities too - AND is very visible to people around you, for your and their success. 4. Deprivation anticipation, e.g. of food (fasting) or other pleasure, causes thoughts that themselves spike-up of dopamine even without the thing itself. 5. Beware, watch/manage what causes the big pleasure hits, especially repeated big hits. That’s because they can make uou... - Crave it in future (addiction) - Emotionally crash you after your big successes. Diversify your life happiness. NATURAL FUNCTION OF DOPAMINE - Dopamine, in all animals that have it, is the 'currency of foraging' for things that advance survival success. Seeking food, shelter, mates, tribal and genetic ongoing prosperity. - It strongly rewards emotionally the action, and briefly the success, then it does a mirroring bounce downward below baseline, then resumes normal baseline, until another quest makes it relevant again. He says post-partum depression is a severe depletion of dopamine. COLD WATER SPIKES IT UP, FOR HOURS - Very cold water immersion, after 10 mins, increased dopamine to 250% of baseline. https://youtu.be/QmOF0crdyRU?t=208 - He talks in detail about cold water at https://youtu.be/QmOF0crdyRU?t=5422 That boost effect continues even one or two hours after immersion. - It brings calm mental clarity. Powerful drive. High achievement actions (including confident social engagement.) And of course, joy.  - BUT after a big surge of dopamine, the baseline falls. I've noticed sometimes my evening are dulled down to uselessness. Lethargy, laziness, unwillingness are a low-dopamine state. - I don’t mind so much because I’ve achieved so much in the high-dopamine morning. I just sag into trivial easy things. MUSCLE EAGERNESS OR ZONKING - Parkinson's disease is a lack of dopamine, causing lack of control over movement, e.g. hands and limbs shake uncontrollably. - Six drug addicts in California were illegally street-given a drug that permanently destroyed their dopamine secretion cells. They got severe Parkinson's disease immediately, were permanently motivationally disabled, unable to do any voluntary movement, 'couldn't even blink. See https://amzn.to/316fKuP. Rescue was achieved later using fetal stem cells. - Huberman once got the disease, giardia, was treated with thorazine. It drastically depleted dopamine, causing immediate horrendous depression and uncontrollable, weeping sorrow. He begged for a dose of aldopa to reverse that dopamine starvation. Within minutes he was feeling fine again. 'Such a lesson from that experience. - I relate to it from suicidal depression - I was hospitalized 3 months  in 1969 and recovered from it with pharmacy help. NEUROLOGY, BIOCHEMISTY - Dopamine is not a neurotransmitter (affecting just local neurons) but a neuromodulator (simultaneously affecting many neural systems including energy level, mindset, confidence about CAN DO or can't ability to achieve something) - It can not only operate in a synapse connection locally between neurons, but also 'volumetric release' flood to hundreds of other neurons to affect them too. I AGREE - That makes sense to me, because after the ice bath, I feel 'generally' revved up and ready pervasively for all dimensions of my life and the universe. - The most valuable benefit is that it triggers 'bright ideas' that I rush to write down or immediately act on. DOPAMINE TRIGGERS GLUTAMATE - THE GO-GO-GO HORMONE - Dopamine-secreting neurons also simultaneously co-secrete glutamate, a chemical causing excitement of other neurons near and far, bringing the alertness and ambition and confidence to strongly crave things outside yourself and and act to achieve them. - Glutamate's mostly a prelude to achievement, even high in high alerts like stage fright or before a sky-dive. After achievement, other chemicals give the pleasure. EVEN REMEMBERING THINGS CAUSES DOPAMINE - Even while you enjoy memories of past achievements your dopamine spikes up.  Note well... That is another great reason to create and surround yourself with motivational visualizations and affirmations about your past successes. - And-and-and, such remembering causes us to define ourselves accordingly... DEFINING YOURSELF, DELIBERATELY, - CRUCIAL... At any moment, what you're perceiving is constantly influenced by relation to it’s associated previous dopamine experiences - from the past few seconds and minutes, AND from size of dopamine hits days or years ago. - ‘Can be encouraging or limiting. On arrival now at an experience, you find it great, or repelling accordingly. ‘Point is, being aware, you have options for altering the dopamine records, usefully changing your motivation. REPETITION - Repeating the experience and it's amount of dopamine, makes that effect build up either better or worse. Like to love, ‘meh’ to hate. - So you can deliberately set up repetition that will alter future motivation. CONTRIVING YOUR BASELINE DOPAMINE - The aim is to program yourself with experiences to affect the later, subsequent experiences.... (a) It’s best to maintain a baseline level that keeps motivation good for mood and getting things done (b) But also to be able to rev it up high to get through occasional hard obstacles. HOW TO CREATE FABULOUSLY ENJOYABLE VISUALIZATIONS - Here’s how I build dopamine by creating strongly motivating visualization pictures and videos of past successes, and desired future things. ◘ (Easiest) Finding and displaying images in the background of my PC.  ○ If you right click the Windows desktop, select Personalize, you can tell it to use a folder of your images as the background. ○ Any of the trillions of image on the internet can be right-clicked, choose Copy Image, it goes onto the clipboard, you can save it as a file. ○ If you like, use MSPaint to modify it - especially you can paste yourself into the scene for powerful association that you’ll constantly enjoy seeing. ◘ (Even more powerful) Using the $10 wonderful app, PushVideoWallpaper, which I use constantly, all day long, surrounded by beautiful vids on background ○ Download PushVideoWallpaper free trial at https://bit.ly/3d5TELx ○ Set up playlists of videos off YouTube, or your own videos. ○ You can drag-and-drop YouTube URL links from your browser, or from your PC folders, into those playlists. ○ The ‘advanced’ trick is to use your own camera to create videos against a chroma green screen, then eliminate that green background, and past the video over top of any other video (that’s done using a video editor like PowerDirector) ○ Another option is to download the free ‘OBS’ software (open broadcasting system) which enables you to create a movie of anything happening on your screen. That means you can take a clip of any YouTube video. - Again, these constant inspirations bring you more focus and confidence and drive to achieve more, because your memories are more, or less, marinated in dopamine. BEWARE HYPER-SPIKES THOUGH (THEY DUMP YOU AFTER) - Big surges cause less contrast between baseline and top gear, so you have to learn how to manage that. ADRENALINE RELATIONSHIP WITH DOPAMINE - Adrenaline (=epinephrine, the 'get-ready', fuel-up hormone from the adrenal gland above the kidneys) is 'caused by' dopamine on perception of a need. - Dopamine is the 'exciting happy' chemical motivator, distinct from just the energy supply triggering & delivery mechanism. - At the receiving synapse, dopamine (slower than quick electrical events), sets off various much slower, sustained cascades of physiological events. - That even including gene expression (how various genes will actually behave) - I've seen mention elsewhere that dopamine stimulates learning, remembering, motor function - Dopamine is the main neurotransmitter re. time processing. (If you want to speed up time, simply make yourself busier. See https://bit.ly/3DeWAAh, - Dopamine decides the ability to sustain motivation and movement, especially self-driving onward to achievement BRAIN AREAS The two major brain traffic channels that dopamine affects are... 1. Action, movement part of brain 2. Reward, reinforcement, motivation DOPAMINE CAUSES WAKEFULNESS - Dopamine is associated with wakefulness and alertness. - Lack of it is associated with drowsiness. FOODS/SUBSTANCES/ACTIVITIES - HOW MUCH THEY LIFT DOPAMINE - Relevant foods and outside influences 'for most people, usually', are... ○ Caffeine raise dopamine sensitivity, the density of receptors. ○ So does alcohol. ○ Chocolate can raise dopamine for a few seconds or minutes by 1.5 times baseline. ○ Sex (either pursuit of it or doing it) can double baseline dopamine. The amount changes along the process. ‘Easy top imagine when watching elaborate Spanish tango and rumba dancing tantalyzingly close while in body contact. - He says the high dopamine hits of pornography cause some people problems in their real intimate relationships. (Said at 1:56:40) ○ Nicotine momentarily sends the dopamine to 2.5 times baseline. ○ Cocaine takes it up to 2.5 times. ○ Amphetamine increases it TEN times baseline. ○ Exercise, if enjoyed, can 2.0 times the baseline, just like sex. But if not enjoyed (because of past experiences), may be much less or not at all. - THAT is another example of the CRUCIAL options to actively create (best repeated) associations that will build dopamine.  ○ Visualizatios and affirmations of yourself enjoying the activity do exactly that. So does wearing snazzy clothes you love to wear when exercising, deliberately choosing beautiful outdoor places, music experiences, friends to run with, nicest chrome barbells and rowing machine, etc. ○ Eating sugar causes the brain to produces huge surges of dopamine. This is similar to the way the brain reacts to the ingestion of substances like heroin and cocaine. ○ Getting enough sleep, exercising, listening to music, meditating and spending time in the sun can all boost dopamine levels. In animals, dopamine is high just before waking, and falls away approaching evening bed time. ○ Music stimulates release of dopamine in the brain. ○ Experienced meditators seems to get increase of dopamine levels, e.g. up 65%. It helps the meditator to stay in that mental state. ○ Adequate sunlight (without burning) helps with adequate dopamine levels and mood. ○ Nutrients needed for dopamine include iron, niacin, folate, and vitamin B6. STORIES OF EXTREME HIGHS - THE LESSON FROM IT - A nice lift of dopamine, e.g. from chocolate, is followed by the bounce down after - which is experienced as a craving for more of the cause. Dopamine is very related to addictions. - The 'readily releasable pool' of your dopamine can get exhausted. An addict makes the mistake of more myopic focus (ignoring the rest of their lifestyle) in attempts to increase the behavior that brought the pleasure. - Instead of letting the body just recover naturally in a few hours or days of boredom and gloom or distractions, raises the stakes with more-more-more, which can be chemicals that wreck the receptors delivering pleasure. - The lesson is, manage obsessive behaviour, and back off so you can still enjoy good thrills, but not to the degree that you exhaust your fun supply. ADDICTION EFFECTS - Having too much dopamine — or too much dopamine concentrated in some parts of the brain and not enough in other parts — is linked to being more competitive, aggressive and having poor impulse control. - It can lead to conditions that include ADHD, binge eating, addiction and gambling. DIET? - What is good dopamine diet? ○ Dairy foods such as milk, cheese and yogurt ○ Unprocessed meats such as beef, chicken and turkey ○ Omega-3 rich fish such as salmon and mackerel ○ Eggs ○ Fruit and vegetables, in particular bananas ○ Nuts such as almonds and walnuts ○ Dark chocolate ○ Moderation of saturated fats. COLD WATER EXPOSURE - It increases dopamine availability. -  At https://youtu.be/QmOF0crdyRU?t=5422 he explains the huge levels of adrenaline occuring in cold water shock, followed by gradual rise of dopamine over some minutes, to 2.5 times baseline (as much as nicotine and cocaine provides) and unlike them, lingering for two or three hours. LIFE POWER, COMPETITIVENESS - Managing your dopamine gives useful control of your life. Plough through hard work, difficulties. - Aim to love the hardship challenge! Cultivate in yourself, personal dopamine kicks from 'friction', that is, personal defiant highs fighting the challenge, the struggle itself. - This ties the reward strongly to the difficulty and your splendid valor. It guarantees triumph dopamine from the difficulty, building the activity into a habit, rather than just compensation bribes to get yourself started and or afterwards. (Those tricks actually can reduce dopamine during the process.) - THAT strategy spreads from the activity to all difficulties in your life, giving you hero mentality helping you to dopamine-triumph everywhere. - It becomes part of your 'identity', you deliberately admire yourself in the toughest gruellings. Defiant, proud, hard-winning, glorious experience. Turning the effort into the reward. CLOTHING - HOW YOU SEE YOURSELF, OTHERS SEE YOU, TREAT YOU - One of my 'external' tricks, connecting to 'struggle success' is to wear snazzy, colourful lycra sports clothing as a personal reward recognition of my engagement with the ice baths and exercise and fasting hunger. -  It helps me jog out in bitter weather to the outdoor gym, do the routine there, jog back. I 'earn' the right to wear them at home and in public. - I see myself looking good, I know the neighbours see me, so do people in the park. It's way better than reward by food. There are countless beautiful options on Amazon and AliExpress. I see the cost as 'strategic buying' for motivation and health and longevity. But so are op shop and garage sale snazzy clothes. - Or, simply choose brightest-you've got clothes in your wardrobe. Snug fit, curve lines, strong contrast. Not drab. TACTICS THAT HELP MOTIVATE WORK ACTIVITIES  - These tricks make a huge difference . They are are the key ingredients of job satisfaction (any task), (from Hackman & Oldham, 1980; Smith, Kendall, & Hulin, 1969. 1 Task definition (clarity about what is to be done and how) 2 Task meaningfulness (the real purpose of the job, who it serves, what they get) 3 Task endpoints (defining milestones revealing advancement and satisfaction) 4 Task skill variety (change of activity rather than monotonous repetition) 5 Personal growth (feeling you are learning, becoming more capable, useful) 6 Personal autonomy (you have ability to make choices, decide how things are done, you have 'identity', pride in that) 7 Personal social contact (you share the experience instead of being alone). FASTING, ANTICIPATION, AND DOPAMINE - Intermittent fasting increases dopamine too. https://youtu.be/QmOF0crdyRU?t=6557 Your dopamine receptors get extra sensitized, so that you get more pleasure from things in general. And when you eat, the enjoyment is much greater. - This also applies to other pleasures. (That seafaring song I wrote to sing during the ice bath has an chorus end-line 'Soon the girls of Auckland after 95 days away). =)   - He says people even get to like the period of deprivation, because the increasingly joyful anticipation causes dopamine hits. - He again says that even your knowledge of what's good for you, becomes itself a powerful dopamine increaser. VALIDATION OF A BELIEF CAUSES DOPAMINE - Hearing confirmation of something you believe generates dopamine. - Perhaps that's where the term 'dope' came from. =) SUGAR AND VERY TASTY FOOD   - Sugar and highly flavoured foods increase dopamine, but it only takes a few days of withdrawal before you equally enjoy the switched-to foods, broccoli and no-sugar porridge, whole wheat bread etc. (LEGAL) DRUGS & SUPPLEMENT FOR DOPAMINE MANAGEMENT -  (See 1:57:08) - Clinical treatment to increase dopamine can include supplements and some foods. - See 01:58:30 about Mucuna Pruriens (very effective and related to sexual function), but beware the crash after. - Welbutrin for depression, and others.  PEA (phenylethlyamine) 02:07:00 He says he uses 500mg once a week or so to pep up an hour or two of work sometimes. It's in chocolate. NIGHTTIME LIGHT LEVEL, MELATONIN, SLEEP - Taking melatonin reduces dopamine. He doesn't recommend it. - Better to reduce light levels, eye mask to totally black out vision. OXYTOCIN (THE BONDING HORMONE) STIMULATES DOPAMINE, SO SOCIALIZE WELL TO BE HAPPY - Social connections, especially close, generate oxytocin pleasure. This summons dopamine because it goal-seeks reproduction and tribal survival and success.

NZ becoming servile to China?
- Bravo, Radio New Zealand.
- Have a listen to this (recent) documentary podcast series that woke me up with a jolt.
- It was by Guyon Espiner and other good quality investigative journalists. https://www.rnz.co.nz/programmes/red-line
- It seems our relationship with China is too cozy to be appropriate with an increasingly, alarmingly controlling communist dictatorship. - You may remember Xi Jinping recently changed laws so he could continue controlling China, and us, as long as he wanted to.
- You may know most Chinese work 9am-9pm 6 days a week (72 hours a week) for US$3-4 per hour, or professional salaries between US$10-30K. See https://combadi.com/what-is-the-average-hourly-wage-in-china/
- Basically the podcast reveals we've been making moral compromises that economically benefit our economy in a big way. That is, giving lip service to the human rights issues of China (persecution of anyone who disagrees with the Communist Party, and effective-slavery of the working population.)
- And even turning a blind eye to China's bullying of Chinese people here in our own country. China apparently regards any Chinese anywhere as 'belonging to China'. That is classic 'cult' behaviour.
- The broadcast says Australia is angry we are so weak and compliant with China, and getting favours from that. Probably the US and other allies are too- But see for yourself.
