OUTMODED ATTENTION A Day In The Life Of The Central Saint Martins Archive
ARCADIA_MISSA
DANIELLA RUSSO SUSU LAROCHE BEN CLARKE Beginning at 12, works looped until accompanying event at 6 - 8pm. Saturday 17th September. This event is the extension of an initial screening of material from the CSM archive. The immersive two screen installation now presented at Arcadia_Missa is sequenced with an alternative soundtrack creating a new chronology. The affects originally produced by the appropriated clips are re-coded and heightened by a disjunction with their accompanying audio.

Agnes Martin: Gabriel
Hannah Barry Gallery
Agnes Martin, Gabriel, 1976, 16mm film transferred to dvd (72 min)
Saturday 17th September 2011, 1.30pm
This is a rare opportunity to see Agnes Martin’s 1976 film, Gabriel. It chronicles a boy’s relationship to nature and abstraction on a mountain odyssey. Martin’s shimmering, abstract paintings reflect the artist’s meditative approach to art and life.
