What's your favorite digimon recolor 🫵

Oh that's an interesting one! Hmmm...

I've never actually put too much thought into it, but I usually like any digimon that's a purple variant of the original (what a surprise), like Tsukaimon and Psychemon. I think my favorite purple recolor off the top of my head is probably Kuzuhamon tho, that purple-black combo looks really nice and she just has a certain vibe that calls out to me. Sakuyamon was one of my favorite digimon as a child so when I found out there was a purple one I was sold immediately haha

But on the non-purple side I think my favorite is probably Sorcerimon. I like how he has a snowflake-shaped staff instead of the sun one, it complements the design really well. Plus I really liked every depiction I've seen of him in the show and games (but especially the one in Cyber Sleuth, I've mentioned it in another post but that one case really stuck with me). Not to mention ice/snow-themed designs always tend to appeal to me 🤔

(Also does Rosemon Burst Mode technically count as a recolor? Cause she's definitely one of my faves too)

I'm also pretty fond of dark blues, any shades around that side of the color wheel are among my favorites!

New Liberator chapter in less than an hour!!

I'm thinking maybe I'll do my 30-day Digi-Art Challenge in August as my Odaiba Memorial project for this year since I don't have anything else planned (was thinking of doing those sticker designs of the main mons to match with my protag print set buuut I don't think it's gonna happen just yet lol)... will kinda depend on if I manage to get a job in the meantime and how much free time I'll have available then, but that's the plan for now.

I've been writing down ideas for each of the prompts so I can prepare in advance and I have almost all of them figured out, trying to include as many different pieces of Digimon media as I can so there's some representation for all sides of the franchise. I really need to continue reading through the mangas tho, there's something in the Xros Wars manga that I think might be cool to do for two of the prompts there but I need context first lol. The only prompts I'm ignoring for now are the five bonus round ones, I wanna try just going with the flow for those and draw whatever comes to mind when I get there.

But yeah, that's that. We'll see how it goes
