He opened his mouth to talk, but she interrupted, "yes, they'll notice if we're away. We don't have that many guests"

The plead on her eyes, they were almost full of tears... damn, I guess she was telling the truth. Daniel close their distance and kissed her in a desperate kiss. He wants to believe all that.

Good thing that Daniel is a vampire. He wrote a book and got rejected, he was working on an edit for the book and he got rejected before he even finished it.

Now it's time for him to start a whole new book.

He groaned out of frustration. Candy couldn't sleep anymore, she got out of bed and he startled at the touch of her warm hands on his face, even if he had a good hearing from his vampire's ability, he didn't hear her coming because he was so focused on finishing this, "I'm sorry I woke you up"

"I'm not tired anymore. What's making you so frustrated?", she hugged him from behind.

"I wrote a full book this morning and when I sent it to my clients they said it was what they needed, so I started to make some changes and I sent it to them, just for them to tell me that editing wouldn't work"

Candy leaned and placed a kiss on his cheek, "you need to take a break, Dan"

He sighed, still wanting to finish this, "I really just want to finish this"

"Why don't you sleep for a while?"

"You know I don't really need to sleep when I don't use my powers"

Candy smirked, "I know. What you're not understanding is that I'm inviting you to bed"

That made Daniel turn to her with wicked smile, "why didn't you say it sooner?"

"I know how to help you with your writer's block", she grined while she held out her hand to lead him to their bed.

And that's what he really needed, to forget about words and just get lost on her, the woman that he was sure that she was the love of his life.

Candy fell asleep and he needed some inspiration...
