The court challenges they mount aren’t cheap, but they’re slam dunks. The US Constitution is pretty clear on this. Not saying there couldn't be something sinister going on with absentee ballots. I know people have talked a lot about USPS issues lately, but I've had trouble with them for many, many years, so I just don't trust them any more than I need to.

I think that’s wise. It’s better to be careful. But I’ll be damned, if they fuck with my ballot I will never stop raging. I cannot do another four years of this shit. The cats and I have decided that if it goes to hell, we’re going to join the cannibalistic humanoid underground dwellers. Sure there’s a chance I might be cannibalized, but I’m kinda weird looking so they might just think I’m an ugly cat.

I used to put bills in my box for pickup, and I'd come home and they'd still be there. Not sure if they just messed up or what, but I learned not to trust whatever pickup they had at the complex.

Oh wow that’s shitty. Yeah, I wouldn’t trust my pickup if it was like that. Now that I think about it, the reason mine isn’t shitty is because about half the people who live here are older retired people so they have nothing better to do than to wait around for the mail to come and bitch if their mail isn’t picked up or they don’t get their meds in the mail or whatever.

For what it's worth, I've been driving out to public mailboxes for years, just because I don't trust mail pickups at apartment complexes. At least if it comes back to me, I know they took it at some point.

Thanks, bro! I’ve never had that kind of trouble before at my complex, which makes it super weird for me. Maybe I’m paranoid, but these days it’s probably worth it to be aware of the mail, especially when it comes to voting.
