Okay okay okay ATLA of course but there is NOT enough attention paid to Ty Lee becoming an acrobat and leaving her family and trying so hard to establish herself as an independent person as opposed to "part of a matching set" and then finally at the end joining the Kyoshi warriors and wearing their uniform and BLENDING IN WITH THE GROUP because she came to the realization that it wasn't about *not looking like an individual* that felt miserable, but *NOT BEING TREATED LIKE ONE* but now she's a KYOSHI WARRIOR and even though they all look the same they ALL HAVE PERSONAL AGENCY and RESPECT and CARE ABOUT EACH OTHER and she's finally confident enough that her new family won't try to crush her personality that she feels secure in conforming in other ways, like tddyvrgdfgfdfffk CHARACTER ARC

i get that we’re supposed to graduate. really do. but tell me how do i focus on studying and finishing assignments when the outside is in shambles and governments are crumbling under the weight of souls of the people their incompetence and unpreparedness killed. how they expect us to work as normal as if im not living thru the biggest disaster that struck mankind this side of the 18th century. this is like if fucking, sky opened up and the trumpets sounded and i begged they wait coz i had to turn in a fucking paper before 23:59h. absurd.

The USPS is about to declare bankruptcy. It’s at the center of the longstanding plans for disaster recover and has been since the Cold War. It’s the only institution that could (for example) deliver covid meds to every home in America in one day.

The proposals are for USPS to become a Wework clone or franchisee, but not to become a publicly owned bank - a common line of business for other nations’ postal services, natural based on the amounts of cash they handle.
The USPS is the nation’s second largest employer of veterans, with 630,000 employees. Trump is about to allow it to collapse so that UPS, Fedex and other private firms can skim off the most profitable parts of its business and leave rural Americans totally isolated.
The loss of the USPS would mean the loss of the last truly universal federal program in America and would unduly hammer the people whom Trump claims to love – veterans and rural voters.
