What I think is so funny is how Zara built her fucked up experiment lab inside of Ghilan'nain's former fucked up experiment lab and it's implied that Zara did not know that that was what the Ossuary was when she first set up shop.

the thing about the ossuary that i feel i understand after reading the art book is that they scrapped several nautical concepts for the player character’s home base including a ship, a submarine, and a base on the back of a giant creature shambling across the sea floor, and it’s fairly clear to me that the ossuary exists purely because someone out there was clinging tooth and nail to that goddamn underwater setting and come hell or high water was going to make it happen for at least one quest. i have to respect it
