i just finished clair obscur: expedition 33 and i am most definitely not feeling well, my live reaction rn ^

Today's the last day of April, and to belatedly celebrate my birthday I'd like to share a comic with you: it's about getting revenge against the people who wronged you, and it's called Werewolf's Lament.

Werewolf's Lament is printed with florescent orange and mint risograph inks on light brown paper; cut and folded in the shape of a wolf. Physical copies are for sale in my online shop.

Watching Dal play through Expedition 33 and I’ve been so inspired by the amazing designs ugh!!!

Definitely out of my comfort zone and im pretty hesitant about them (def need improvements when im better equipped to do them) but proud I pushed through it!

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 feels like the exact kind of game every JRPG developer in the 90s and early 00s *wanted* to make but the tech just wasnt there for it.

Brilliant visuals, engaging but slightly esoteric narrative, fantastic and unique world design, great turn based combat with skills and magic that encourage trying different builds, linear story with a big overworld that can be explored however, hidden loot and sub-bosses that arent necessary but are rewarding for those who seek them out. As somebody that grew up adoring Final Fantasy IX I am truly having the time of my life, Game of the Year, easily because I dont think there is anything on the calendar that will come close.
