part of the reason I hate making graphics is that my version of photoshop is so old and clunky that it makes using it a pain, so if anyone has recs on what to use instead,

let's just all be glad herc's name was changed multiple times in his life so his nickname can be herc instead of al
#slowly working on redoing all of his info and transferring it all to a new carrd and a new blog. thought about herc's original name. alcaeus#i'm doing everything in small chunks to get myself actually writing again#but so far so good! much more organized and coherent with the new setup.#the next step is rewriting his bio into easy to read summaries. then graphics. i wish i wasn't broke so i could commission some LMAO#but i will do my best to make some new icons and graphics that look nice so everything is cohesive and matching#i'll likely drag a few asks from this blog over to the new one to start answering things but other than that it'll be a case by case basis#of what i keep#all this tag rambling to say. i'll be back writing soon now that i'm not in constant pain. cant believe i dealt with that for over a month#legitimately that tooth infection was worse pain than when my appendix tried to kill me LMAO#ooc | it is sea shanty time my fellow bastards of the ocean

likely going to swap all of herc's info onto carrd while I work on redoing everything on here .... im usually frustrated by carrd's limits so if anyone has good free templates to suggest .....

Very slowly trying to shake myself back into writing! Been catching up on sleep now that I'm not in constant pain so I'm still rather slow, and I've also been working on redoing some blog info in general because tbh? I need better jumping off points for Herc.

told myself I'd watch all the sonic movies while recovering and what a great idea that was
