It's this time of the year again, when I try to tell tumblr that I haven't forgotten it. It's this slightly awkward moment when you meet your long-time-besti again and have to make up a story why you haven't even written a holiday card. I am sorry, tumblr, I'll do better this time- maybe.

Anyway, bloodweave is the drumbeat of my heart at the moment, especially the slow, not really sexy kind that is about finding your home in another person. This picture started out as an attempt to create fanart for the fic "aubade" which has a wonderful scene of Gale taking care of Astarion, and is very dear to me. The thumbnails wanted something else, so it became ritual-after-care instead.
