Victoria Perez | 16 yrs old | Legacy of Trivia | SECOND COHORT
↳ The LIFE of VICTORIA PEREZ —
Born two a mortal father and a daughter of Trivia, Victoria always knew she was special. She was raised in New Rome in what felt like an ordinary life, her mother teaching her the tricks to her own powers and her father teaching her how to be strong. She joined the Legion at a young age, having been sent to test with Lupa at the age of 12 and her family was well known enough to land her a spot in the second Cohort, where she continued to thrive and carry on her family name.
She has high expectations to live up to, but Victoria thrives under pressure. She’s been known to push herself but for the most part it works in her favor. She is not quite in the position of power that she wants to be, though she is at least 95% sure that as soon as the most recent centurion retires, she’s next in line. And if all goes according to plan, she hopes to one day be praetor.
↳ P e r s o n a l i t y —
Victoria is headstrong and confident girl. She’s in the second cohort for a reason and that is her tenacity. She doesn’t take anybody’s shit and though that makes her come off at times as aggressive or bitchy, she knows that’s mostly just for the people who can’t stand a strong woman. She does have the abilities to follow and adheres to the rules pretty strictly. If she has a vulnerable side, she refuses to show it, mostly because she knows that showing her weakness will deter her from her goals and that is the last thing that she wants.
↳ A b i l i t i e s  a n d  w e a k n e s s e s —
✔ As a legacy of Trivia Victoria is able to manipulate the mist to some extent. There is a lot she is incapable of doing, due to not practicing, but she is exceptionally good at disguising and hiding people.
‣ Since Victoria is a legacy, she doesn’t have ADHD or dyslexia. She’s fluent in Latin and Spanish.
✘ Victoria is stronger at night which also means she’s weaker during the daytime. Due to camp activities, she is often sleep deprived.
↳ T h i n g s  t o  r e m e m b e r —
Victoria has a hard time sleeping, especially since she gets most of her energy during the night. She is usually the last awake in her cohort and will often times spend more time training during those late hours.
Victoria has a tattoo of a wheel over the letters SPQR on her arm, with four bars as well.

Theodora “Teddy” Jones | 16 years old | Daughter of Ares | CABIN FIVE
↳ The LIFE of TEDDY JONES —
Teddy lived with her mother in Chicago until she was five. All she can remember about the night her mother was arrested are the flashing lights, a woman screaming, and the strange tin foil blanket some cop wrapped around her. After that she was thrown into the foster care system. Between her mistrust of adults, learning disabilities, and proclivity for violence, Teddy was eventually labeled a problem child and sent to a group home for troubled kids when she was twelve. She gained her ever ironic nickname at this home, as well as a friend turned satyr who whisked her away to Camp Half-Blood for the very first time.
When Ares claimed her (and she learned who Ares was) her life started to make a bit more sense. From what she remembered of her mother, it seemed obvious that the God of War would be attracted to her. No wonder Teddy was the way she was. Angry, violent, dumb. But despite her negative self image, Teddy was able to find a home and community at camp. She truly belonged in a way she had never experienced before. As tempting as it was to stay all year round, Teddy decided to attend a normal high school and at least graduate with her diploma. It was the best way to prove that she wasn’t as dumb as everyone had always told her.
She continued to spend her summers at camp, but returned to foster care. Since the group home wouldn’t have her back. When she was fourteen she had a particularly bad year with a foster home and swore off of it forever. She didn’t need anyone but herself. So now she spends the school year hiding out in the abandoned pool underneath her high school. To make some money she fights in the local underground fight club. While she no longer completely hates her life outside of camp, it’s still nothing compared to the freedom she feels every summer when she gets to return home.
↳ P e r s o n a l i t y —
Like most Ares kids, Teddy can come off as tough and scary. And for the most part, that’s true. You should definitely be intimidated. But due to a need to be better than her criminal ancestors, she has a pretty strict sense of right and wrong she tries to stick to so you won’t catch her bullying smaller kids on the playground. Once you get to know Teddy, she can be an extremely loyal and fun friend to have, if a bit overzealous with her affections at time. Although very much a loner, she clings to the few close relationships she forms with her siblings and fellow campers.
While she is fully aware that she is a badass, Teddy still struggles with self-image. It’s hard for her to find worth in herself because all she believes she is good for is violence. Furthermore, school never came easy to her and she is convinced that she is stupid. Early reinforcement from certain adults made this not opinion, but fact in her mind. She tries to accept it about herself, but it remains a point of shame and self inflicted negativity. But Teddy would never be caught dead moping about any of this, preferring to put up a tough and snarky facade instead.
↳ A b i l i t i e s  a n d  w e a k n e s s e s —
✔ Teddy has an increased skill and agility in battle, as well as increased strength and battle precognition.
‣ Like all Greek demigods, Teddy suffers from ADHD (to keep her alert to threats) and, because her brain is hard-wired to read Greek, from dyslexia.
✘ Bad at self-love and self-care.
↳ T h i n g s  t o  r e m e m b e r —
She’s been at Camp Half-Blood for 4 years
Weapon of choice is a Greek falcate made of celestial bronze
Has a white pet rat named Butter
She’s never given much thought to her sexuality, romance has always been the last thing on her mind.
↳ R e l a t i o n s h i p s —
Karina Omaña: Teddy turned to Karina for help with school. She has become a trusted friend as well as her tutor.

Daphne Greengrass | 16 years old | Daughter of Terpsichore | CABIN TWENTY-ONE
↳ The LIFE of DAPHNE GREENGRASS —
Daphne Greengrass has always been on the move. From the time she was a baby, her mother found it was hard for Daphne to stay still. When Daphne was old enough, her mother signed her up for dance and movement classes, anything to help Daphne get some energy out. Little did she know that the reason Daphne was so motivated to move was because she was a daughter of Terpsichore, the muse of the dance. Growing up, Daphne soon fell in love with the world of competitive cheerleading. Being tossed into the air and achieving a perfect basket became her life’s passion and Daphne pushed herself to do little else. Her coach, a woman named Rachel Alderitch, took a special interest in Daphne. What she didn’t know was that this was her mother, Terpsichore, in disguise. They worked together to get Daphne on track for an elite college team in Texas. Daphne was almost ready for a major qualifying competition when a failed basket toss caused her to break her ankle, effectively ending her cheerleading career. Devastated, Daphne nearly fell into despair when her coach pitched her an idea: a camp in Long Island that would be ‘perfect’ for her. Under the impression this was some sort of dance camp, Daphne was shocked to find that Camp Half Blood was a training camp for demigods: kids like her. She’s been training for a little over two years, but is not where she should be due to her injury.
↳ P e r s o n a l i t y —
Daphne has always been a kind-hearted individual. Driven and hard-working, she can pretty much do anything she puts her mind to. Daphne often uses this work ethic to build up others, lifting and elevating others to do their best. She likes to make everything special whether a holiday celebration or a gathering around a campfire. While she’s not especially great at all the fighting and combat, Daphne is often the last one to leave the training grounds, not satisfied until she gets something right. While on the outside it seems that Daphne is happy to be trying her best, she often worries that she’s not good enough to be at camp. Being the child of a muse, she finds she’s often left out or made fun of for not being the child of a ‘real god’ (not that anyone would say that out loud). She’s determined to prove herself, but finds that she’s behind due to her old cheerleading injury.
↳ A b i l i t i e s  a n d  w e a k n e s s e s —
✔ Daphne has a large reserve of stamina, a likely ability gained from her mother, Terpsichore, the goddess of dance.
‣ Like all Greek demigods, Daphne suffers from ADHD (to keep her alert to threats) and, because her brain is hard-wired to read Greek, from dyslexia.
✘ Like most demigods, Daphne is shown to be anxious when sitting still for too long. Perhaps even more than an average demigod, due to her mother being the goddess of dance.
↳ T h i n g s  t o  r e m e m b e r —
Her favorite food is pizza.
She has a mortal mother and a godly mother.
She’s been at Camp Half Blood for two years.
She is still recovering from an old cheerleading injury.
She has no idea that her godly parent took an interest in her outside of Camp.
She is considering staying at Camp Half Blood year long.

Diego Fuentes | 17 years old | Son of Dionysus | CABIN TWELVE
↳ The LIFE of DIEGO FUENTES —
Diego Fuentes was a happy go lucky kid. Born to Delilah Fuentes, Diego grew up with the wish to perform and entertainment others. He loved making people laugh, temporarily making any pain they had go away. Diego’s mother was working as a waitress in Phoenix, AZ when she first met the god, Dionysus. Pretty soon, after Diego was born, Delilah made her way to San Diego, hoping to find her luck there. The same happened for years, but Diego enjoyed the life of a nomad. He liked meeting new people and making new friends everywhere. When he was 12, he found his way to Camp Half-Blood, where he started spending his summers. He immediately became close to one of his brothers, Jordy. At 16, Jordy was the golden boy of the Dionysus cabin. Strong, confident and smart, he was everything Diego wished he could be.
Tragedy struck, however when Diego was in his 4th year of camp. Jordy had been assigned a quest and died at the hands of a terrible Hydra. Diego, the formerly happy go lucky child, suddenly turned somber and uncharacteristically quiet. There were days on end when he wouldn’t leave the cabin, cuddled up in Jordy’s bed. He’s made a lot of progress in the time since Jordy’s death, but Diego still is haunted by his brother’s memory. He does his best to keep smiling, as to not worry everyone. Being with his friends help, being able to make people smile helps...Diego even inherited a magical belt  of returning that holds three daggers. But Diego is still looking for that missing piece to help him accept his beloved brother’s death.
↳ P e r s o n a l i t y —
He's the first to find humor in any situation, often resorting to jokes to lighten the mood, out of nervousness, or to make a reference. Diego never takes himself too seriously, unless the situation calls for it. He is not prone to rigid rules or bouts of temper, but instead chooses to ‘go with the flow’ most of the time. He is willing to put his fears aside to protect those dear to him, repeatedly expressing fear or unwillingness to do something only to proceed when he learns it would help someone he cares about. He prefers avoiding conflict at all costs, but will not hesitate to throw himself into the fray for the sake of someone else. Ever since the death of his brother, Diego has had a shadow on his shoulder. While he still is smiley and happy, there are times where he seems…sad. Those are the days when he stays in his cabin, in Jordy’s bed. He grows talkative when he's nervous, which is often, and isn't ashamed to admit his own weaknesses, to the point of being self-deprecating.
↳ A b i l i t i e s  a n d  w e a k n e s s e s —
✔ Chlorokenisis, but only over grape vines. Agility and dexterity.
‣ Like all Greek demigods, Flora suffers from ADHD (to keep her alert to threats) and, because her brain is hard-wired to read Greek, from dyslexia.
✘ Undiagnosed depression
↳ T h i n g s  t o  r e m e m b e r —
He’s been at Camp Half-Blood for 5 years.
His birthday is June 23rd.
Diego’s brother, Jordy, found a magical belt of returning on a quest. After his brother passed, Diego was gifted the magical belt, which holds three of his daggers.
Diego has been known to like stereotypically nerdy things: D&D, sci-fi novels, comic books…
Diego has been a vegetarian for 10 years.

Matthew Murtaugh | 17 years old | Son of Ares | CABIN FIVE
↳ The LIFE of MATTHEW MURTAUGH —
Growing up with a family of soldiers would have been difficult for a normal kid, but Matt had never really been all that normal. His mother, a general in the marines, had started training her son to fight from the moment he could walk. She took pride in her work and made it clear even back then that she wanted him to follow in her footsteps, making sure that he knew how to handle whatever weapon he might need to use. Matt excelled, too. He was strong, quick on his feet, and seemed more than capable-- which made sense, considering who his father was. His mom had known before Matt had even been born that his father was a god. Ares, the God of War.
Matthew was different, though. He had a kind heart and hated the idea of hurting anybody (human or animal alike). Some of his cousins liked to hunt and on occasion they’d invite Matt but he would always decline, finding one excuse or the other. Though he wished he could find enough excuses to avoid training with his mom, he was never given that luxury and before he had even started puberty he had the capabilities of being a cold-blooded killer-- if the time called for it.
Around his mother, Matt seemed to have a different personality. With a military background, he learned how to be the soldier– how to follow orders and how to keep his questions to himself. He strived to make his mom proud. But when he was away from her he would drop this persona, becoming a completely different person. This was his true self. Never quite sure about where he stood in the world, Matt often winds up stumbling over his words, trying to make sure he doesn’t say or do the wrong thing. There are times when his anxiety gets the best of him and he has to take a step back and remember who he is and what he wants in the world.
He’s still a child of Ares, which means he was built for war and when the monsters started showing up, he was more than equipped to take care of them. Learning about his parentage was rough, though. Matt didn’t really feel like he fit in with most of the Ares kids, who were pretty gungho about fighting and going to war. He almost felt like a mistake was made when Ares claimed him and he worries a lot about what his father must think of him.
↳ P e r s o n a l i t y —
Matt for the most part is just a goofy kid with anxiety. He will often ramble or cut himself off when he’s talking because he winds up overthinking about the words. When it comes to making most actions he will hesitate for fear that he’s doing something wrong. He’s kind, holding to the ideals that every living being deserves to live (including monsters). When he’s comfortable with someone he does break out of his shell a little and that is where his playfulness comes in. Matt is loyal and protective and would risk his own life to keep someone else from dying.
Matt also has another side to him, his soldier persona. That persona is the polar opposite of his true self. He says very little and doesn’t ask questions, following directions to the best of his ability. He has a lot of conflicts about his own legacy. He wants to make his parents proud, but he doesn’t want to risk his own morals to do so.
↳ A b i l i t i e s  a n d  w e a k n e s s e s —
✔ Minor Odikinesis (Matt doesn’t know he has it and it only happens when he himself is angry.) Superhuman Strength. Minor Telumkinesis
‣ Like all Greek demigods, Matt suffers from ADHD (to keep him alert to threats) and, because his brain is hard-wired to read Greek, from dyslexia.
✘ Anxiety.
↳ T h i n g s  t o  r e m e m b e r —
His weapon of choice is a celestial bronze rapier paired with a celestial bronze dagger. While the use of dual wielding is not always ideal, has always felt more at ease with two weapons in his hand, as opposed to a weapon and a shield. His parentage plays a huge part in it, of course.
This summer will be Matt’s third year at camp. As of yet he had only stayed for the summer, but he’s thinking this year of staying on longer. He tends to stick to himself for the most part, but has made a couple friends along the way.
↳ R e l a t i o n s h i p s —
Wes Bockholt: Matt knew Wes for two years and despite most of their siblings being so gungho about fighting, Wes was one of the good ones. He got along pretty well with his brother and was even allowed to play with Chuck. This will be his first year without his older brother at camp.
Diego Fuentes: Diego is Matt’s best friend. He met the other his first year and they almost instantly clicked, their goofy and nerdy attitudes lining up pretty easily. Matt doesn’t feel so anxious around Diego and feels like he can be himself.
