Zayn Malik determined for 'second chance' with girlfriend Gigi Hadid after their brief split

The heartthrob apologised to fans after axed his performance at Capital FM's Summertime Ball in London at the last minute on Saturday and his girlfriend shared a long message of support on Twitter.

Zain Javadd Malik was born on  on January 12, 1993, in Bradford, a town located in the county of West Yorkshire in Northern England. 

He was teamed up with four other male contestants to form the group act One Direction, who went on to become one of the most popular boy bands in music history. Malik left the group in March 2015. The following year, he released his first solo album
