I'm gonna be honest though this is actually the first time I ever drew the Heivarohn without his armor, and he turned out quite the cutey, look at him he's just a little guy, hard to believe he basically becomes his people's equalivalent to jesus, if Jesus was a badass monster slaying demigod warrior.

Felt like making little chibi versions of little OCs I made.

The one on the left the girl with the red hair is Kaya, who I’ve actually shown off before. The one on the right is... well, he doesn’t have a name yet. I’ve always just referred to him by the title he earns during his journey, the Heivarohn. It’s not his real name, but a sacred title among his people. It translates roughly to “warrior prophet,” he's both the spiritual and military leader of his people.

Even though he might seem unassuming next to Kaya, I was thinking about who would win in a fight between them. As it stands, Kaya is unquestionably the stronger of the two in terms of raw physical power, potentially by a massive margin, but he is definitely the skilled fighter of the two, and spiritually stronger. He’s the chosen inheritor of the responsibilities once held by three now-dead gods, which grants him a level of mystical authority and divine strength that she can't really compare to.

I decided to draw them at the very start of their journey. At this point, so he would be wearing armor if I drew a later iteration of him, while Kaya, being a salvager, is already equipped for danger. Her role involves braving the desert to battle monsters and recover ancient technology for study and use. As for him... I haven’t worked out much of his backstory much yet beyond, he's kind of a nobody who nearly dies in a storm traveling over sea and then washes up on shore and becomes a legendary hero.

And they are actually from the same world, just different continents, they aren't really directly connected in any other way besides living in the same world.

It is a constant struggle drawing this guy, because some part of my brain says to draw them with a fat ass and another part of my brain tells me not to, so anyways they're kinda thicc here, my intrusive thoughts won. But they're my fursona so no shame in me living out my fantasy of having an hourglass figure and a fat ass through them.

You ever hear about the whole thing about purple not being real? Like how it doesn’t technically exist on a wavelength of light and our brains just perceive blue and red together as purple? Well while technically true that statement annoys me because also technically all colors are just our brain’s perception of light! So if that’s the case, then why doesn’t purple exist, for all we know bo colors exist and what we see is just our perception of it, we have no clue what other animals see, we just compare their light receptors to ours and think, “well they probably see things like this” but what if their brain works differently and we have no way of knowing what if a dog sees the world in colors we have no way of perceiving?! PURPLE IS REAL DAMNIT, COLORS ARE AN ILLUSION OUR OWN MINDS TRAP US WITH!!!!

Okay, I know I said I wasn’t really interested in working on anything Sonic related yesterday, but I just got an ask on my AU’s ask blog this morning that I have to do. I just read it and my first reaction was “I HAVE TO DO THIS.”
