With eyes squeezed shut, Sara listened intently to what Ehren was saying. There was truth to it, but she seemingly couldn’t relax. “I’m sorry..I know I shouldn’t be like this. I could never do either of those things to you but I feel like this is way worse because I already know it doesn’t help anything,” she confessed, a heavy sigh lifting off of her chest. It was in the moment that Ehren closed the gap between them and had a secure hand over her stomach that she finally allowed her body to relax. A single tear melted off her cheek as she nodded her husband’s way, leaning into his touch. “They are, already driving momma crazy,”
“Sara. Baby. It’s okay. You’re okay. It was just a big misunderstanding on both of our parts. There's nothing to worry about angel. Just breathe.” As the minutes went on Ehren was getting increasingly more worried. If she did not calm down soon he would probably have to take her to the hospital. The man moved to where he was holding her close to his body and rubbing her back. He could already feel her starting to relax but he wanted to make sure Sara was completely okay before he even thought of moving away from her. “I believe it comes with the territory beautiful.” He responded. If this was how the next few months were going to be like Ehren was in for one hell of a ride.

“I — I don’t know why I went there. Of course you would never cheat on me, we’ve known each other since we were children, right? God, I don’t know what’s gotten into me. I just feel so…upset. And intense. For no reason at all, I hate it,” she mumbled as she stared at her high tops that tapped the concerted with regret written all over her face. “But you should be mad, that was a terrible thing to go back on my vow to you. To not believe that you truly do love me. I just all of a sudden felt my heart shatter. How are you not mad?” Sara whispered, the pad of her thumb swiping across her cheek to catch any fallen tears. After what felt like an eternity of silence, she begrudgingly shuffled herself closer to him, though she wasn’t sure he wanted her to be in any proximity of her. “That’s what I said when the doctor told me. Pretty sure I forgot everything she said after that,”
“Baby. Calm down please. You’re scaring me.” He really needed her to relax if she was pregnant. He did not need to be an expert to know that the first trimester was crucial in the development of their baby. “It is just your hormones babe. Remember Ali locked Luke out of the house, I’m pretty sure Ana didn’t want to be touched by Eric for a week. It’s normal honey.” He didn’t know what he could do to convince her. He walked slowly over to her before tentatively resting his hand on her stomach in case she didn’t want him to touch her. “Our baby is in there.”

“I’m not the type to get jealous, Ehren. Because I thought what we have — had,” Sara corrected herself, nearly stumbling on her words as to somehow make a point to herself. “I don’t know! I never wanted to think of you with someone else but it kind of felt like I was interrupting something,” and then, it suddenly all made sense. The blood that was previously boiling inside of her, ran cold. Again, she froze in her place, speechless at the thought of conjuring up the conclusion of him cheating. Of course they were actors, though the last thing on Sara’s mind seemed to be the elusive blur of imagination and reality. Now she really did feel like she was going to be sick. Covering her mouth with her free hand, her eyes widened in fear. “Oh, Ehren,” she paused, eyes rimmed with the threat of tears that heated her orbs. Sifting through her purse to peel the ultrasound picture, the younger girl unfolded it as her index finger smoothed over the image. “I had a confirmation this morning..they’re super tiny, but it’s there,” she reprieved, gently offering the photo to him although she was sure the shock was only beginning.
“If you honestly think I would cheat on my wife Sara then you don’t know me at all.” He sighed. It wasn't long before he could see the wheels turning in her head. Ehren did not know why she was acting this way. She knew he was in actor she did the same job. She knew the ridiculous and crazy things directors ask you to do. So why was she all of a sudden jumping to conclusions of him cheating on her? “Hey. Hey baby. I understand and I’m not mad.” He reassured her to try to calm her down. In fact he was a little mad, he couldn't remember the last time she brought up what her parents thought of him into one of their fights. He gently took the photo, staring at it for quite sometime. “Holy shit.”

She wanted to go home. Which didn’t exactly feel like an option having to share it with the man who she seemingly just caught swapping DNA with a girl who wasn’t her. “Oh, no I’m sorry for barging in on your hookup. I’ll make sure to knock next time,” Sara uttered under baited breath. For a brief moment, it was made known to her that maybe this life wasn’t what Ehren had wanted after all. The newly discovered hormones that ran through her veins made an impression on her that she already was unable to control. This was a sign that her parents were unfortunately right about the boy she’d fallen head over heels, thinking fate had anything to do with it. Though she spent so much wasted time attempting to prove them wrong, much to her dismay now. Flushed, Sara apprehensively scrambled through her purse to locate her car keys. “My parents were right about one thing, we weren’t ready for this life and now we’re not ready for this baby,” she rambled, unfiltered. From the moment the sentence slipped from her mouth, she froze with the hope that he hadn’t heard her. “I need to get out of here, I’m going to be sick,”
This was some of his worst nightmares come to life. He was going to have a word with his director over his fucked up tactics but first he had to figure out a way to fix this. “Sara. It wasn’t a hook up. I swear to you I would never do that.” He argued. “How long have you known me? Have I ever even so much as looked at another girl?” He could not believe this was happening. Yes he was essentially a rockstar but he wanted nothing to do with the rockstar life. After a long day of work all he wanted to do was come home to his wife and in the future their children. “It was a rehearsal. The director wants it to be as real as possible. I didn’t want to do it but I could get fired and we need the money.” Ehren could not believe what he was hearing. She was going back to the views her parents had of him. “I love our life. I’ve been waiting for this life since the second I met....” He trailed off as his mind processed the end of her sentence. “We’re having a baby?”

A lot things in his life tended to be good coincidences. Meeting the love of your life at a young age, Getting paid to make out with said love of your life all the time. Now that the show was over there were some unfortunate ones. Like having to watch the person you love make out with someone who isn't you. Ehren knew what you had to do in order to make it in this business. Sure, it was difficult sometimes to separate work from everyday life but it had to get done. He sighed when the director told them to go make out in his dressing room. It wasn’t what a normal rehearsal looked like but the man whined that he wanted to have it look as authentic as possible. Also something about prying eyes would only be a distraction. The young man was not comfortable with this but couldn’t exactly complain because he might get fired. So he went along anyway, not excepting his wife to walk through the door and see. Ehren immediately pushed the girt off and chased after Sara as soon as she left the room. “Sara, it isn’t what it looks like.”
the one with the wrong place and time.
Life was always full of surprises, never knowing who would meet to change a life forever. Pulling herself together as she calmly exited the clinic, she quickly folded the photo into her purse. Nerves bundled in her stomach, though at this point the brunette wasn’t sure if it was the butterflies or onset of nausea that had built inside of her all night long, flooding into that morning after. She was anything but calm. Her first instinct was to talk to Ehren. Though she was unsure of what kind of reaction she was about to walk into, the female understood it had to be done. With no one else on her side of immediate family to come to her aid, the boy was almost like her stand alone relationship. Though she never made it a point to want to bother him during work, there would never be a good time to have this conversation. That was, until she walked into the lion’s den. At first, she didn’t notice the girl who was splayed over him. Her lips entangled in his own. Oh no. She had to get away. Far away from whatever version of hell this happened to be. There were no cameras rolling, no producers eyeing every movement. Retracing her steps, Sara’s heart fell in her chest once she disappeared from the dressing room, eyes dotted with the anticipation of tears.
