Extremely funny how, in Stellaris, you can be the subject of an empire that takes you into a war with them, but you're under no obligation to actually.... do anything, in the war. Like unless the enemies come knocking on your door, you're good, you're chill, the overlord doesn't even care that you're not raising a finger to help them out. Vassalages are super exploitable in general but this is by far the funniest part.

"Yes lord, I will go to war alongside you lord. I vow that my name will be listed along yours when you declare war, lord. Now please give me more of your energy credits lord, I'm so hungry for energy credits. You wouldn't want your treasured subject to suffer would you lord? I will be big and strong when you need me in your wars, lord."
