I think that if your blog is entirely devoted to calling trans women predators, then you're a flagrant bigot. Like, I don't really care if they're all, like, objectively bad, if all you do all day every day is post about how you hate a bunch of trans women, then you're clearly obsessed about demonizing trans women. if you’re going to give advice to trans women about our transition, yes even as another trans woman, you are capable of being nice about it.

“BEGGING tgirls to stop x” “for the love of god do y” etc. do you sound helpful in your head? does this sound like “advice” you would want to receive?

it always reads to me as either “you’re making us look bad” or “your attempts at femininity are pathetic and halfhearted”

it is not difficult to be polite about topics that are as sensitive as gender dysphoria and transition. i understand that a lot of the time this is done with the intention of genuinely helping girls transition but have an ounce of grace about it please.

ill take a break from grief posting to say that. there is a guy who outright threatens to harm trans women, that even said he should be allowed to hunt trans women. he still has his account. there are accounts completely dedicated to lying about transfems, misconstruing anything they say or do to motivate people to harass them en mass. they still have their accounts. there are white supremacists that get to keep their accounts, there are stalkers that violate the terms of service and block evade that get to keep their accounts, there are men who get to have blogs full of the most hardcore kink imaginable and they get to keep their accounts.

but isuggestforcefem is nuked cuz of....suggesting forcefem? for being a positive influence for transfems and encouraging them to transition? for wanting a better world for women and closeted trans women?

it's very on the nose what kind of site this is. misogynistic. transphobic. racist. we've known this for a long time. but it never stops feeling shocking.

we've built our own digital communities. if you don't have ways to contact your friends off tumblr, get that contact info. check in on each other. take care of each other. help each other where you can. the world is cruel, tumblr isn't any different. no one's going to help us but ourselves.

turning my grief into anger at racial healthcare disparities bc why the fuck was a fucking DOCTOR mocking my grandmother who had Just been diagnosed with fucking stomach cancer about what he assumed her diet to be!!
