Getting back to work because apparently becoming a tatted up baddie that hunts ghosts and collects bones doesn’t pay for itself 🙄🙄💅

as a fellow antique collector, do you have any specific antique things you seek out to collect? mine is glowy depression era glass, and any vintage designer fashion!!
Instant grab items when I go antiquing are second hand taxidermy/fur (on the rare occasion I find it), brass figures and houseware, gold mirrors, shelves, and frames. Anything that can be hung up since I have gallery style walls and I’m always in need of fillers. Occasionally I’ll bring home antique dolls and toys, if it looks haunted or like it would be in a horror movie there’s a good chance I’m taking it home. I also love collecting accessories and clothes from the Mid-20th century and Victorian era. Currently hoping to find some Victorian mourning pieces, brass crosses, and goat/ram head mounts!! If I had to describe the vibe I’d say my room is haunted whimsigoth witch museum!! Really brings out the spiders in my room✨ I promise I’ll do a room tour someday😅♥️ in the meantime have some random photos!!

I’ve been making a script for the past couple months or so about something that came up during my mental health journey, I want to include some personal stories to use as kind of examples of certain ideas and subjects that have to do with the overall idea, is that something yall would be interested in?

Altar for our sweet boy ♥️ I had it set up on a cabinet when we had a funeral for him, we left it up there since he passed. Today I decided it was time to put all his stuff safe and sound behind one of our curio cabinets to make room for a new chapter :,) In tarot death means new beginnings, and I think there is something bittersweet continuing on without a loved one. It makes way for a new path with all of the things you learned from that person (or in our case a cat). Ran and I shared some tears as we sat back and shared fond memories of our Moose. He taught us a lot. Pictured above is his urn, collar, paw prints, sweater, favorite food (cat treats and ranch), dried out roses that we got for him, catnip, the most expensive bottle of water we could find in the grocery store, pottery we made of him, and the basket where he had his final rest. We miss him everyday, I’m so glad he was apart of our lives even if it was only for a short time. It felt like we knew him for years, we miss you and your silly meow buddy.
