because LIFE is uncomfortable. Death and suicide and sex and pain are straight up going to happen. not having words for the way it discomforts you doesn't make it more comfortable, it just makes you less able to reach out about it.

even more vital, you gotta be able to say words like "rape", "abuse", "queer" or "racist". cause we fought fucking hard to name those experiences. to identify "rape" as distinct from "sex" and "racism" as distinct from "acceptable behaviour" and "queer" as distinct from "invert"

like the function of communication is not to minimise immediate discomfort. we gotta be able to talk about stuff that's hard or sucks or causes difficult conversations.

I always think it’s funny seeing self shippers post about scary dog privilege and having their f/os double as attack dogs because that’s all well and good…

But I AM the attack dog. Listen I may be cursed with being short in every universe but that’s not stopping me from being my f/o’s personal chihuahua. Pretty much every f/o of mine has some other character in their source that has abused/wronged them deeply (probably because I can relate to that in my own life), and lemme tell you, I would bite even the most powerful characters for my f/os it’s not even funny

Hey, I’m Paradox!

This is my first time making an introduction post like this, so it may be a bit… unrefined. I’m willing to offer some cool info about myself, but I will not be sharing any POI (real name, birthday/age, address, etc.)

Im not active in most of the fandoms I mentioned, but I do enjoy the content, both official and fan content. The fandom I’m most active in is transformers!

I don’t prefer to directly name my fictional others (f/os), and I don’t care about sharing either.

My posting schedule will be very erratic, so don’t expect an actual schedule lol.

I generally lurk in fandom spaces I like and reblog things, but occasionally I’ll post original content. I don’t post nsfw, and I don’t intend for my posts to be read as romantic unless I explicitly say it. But that also doesn’t mean you can’t use them for romantic scenarios, just know that wasn’t my original intent.
