MAID OF HEART ANALYSIS

A Maid of Heart creates/creates with Heart. The Maid is the active class of creation, repair, and fixing. Heart is the aspect of emotions, soul, identity, and self-introspection. Together, a Maid of Heart would be able to create identity and emotions for primarily themselves (and others, I suppose). Maids are sort of the doormat class, with many people being used to simply walking over them. This could serve as their gateway towards self-introspection, trying to figure out what exactly was so wrong with them that make people think they can simply use them for their own good. Their challenge now is to accept individuality and grow a stronger backbone.

They're passionate, with a fierce drive to improve themselves first over all. However, once they're done grappling with their own perceived issues on their identity, they can also serve to repair the identities of others through encouraging words. After all, they are an easy person to like, an easy person to trust. People do respect them to an extent, but they tend to find the Maid too much of a pushover at times. Though, their cheerfulness in times of desperation is certainly an important role that not many can fill, garnering them a notable reputation!

Powers can include the creation of souls, maybe even a whole army of them! They'd be able to serve as fighters, buffers, or even just healers on the sidelines. Along with that, they can also undo any sort of decay within the self, the kind that's mostly only caused by other SBURB players... or severe mental problems. Who knows. They'd have to work overtime trying to keep themselves and everyone else confident in themselves and their emotions. And speaking of emotions, they'd also be able to "fix" that through powerful and maybe not so ethical emotion manipulation. For example, if the Maid feels that somebody is lacking in enthusiasm, they can easily just amplify that or create more enthusiasm for them to embody.

this classpect was oddly popular >_> it got two requests!! which is what bumped it up my priority list, pretty fun to think about! maids are probably one of my least favorite to analyze because of how little information is given about them in homestuck proper leaving most of it up to the mind.... it just felt more vague to me than other classes is all, but this one was very enjoyable to do research on so thank u!!!

Time and space check! So automatically, you have a significantly larger chance, the lack of time due to the knight player is concerning though. As long as they manage to focus on the matter at hand and get over their insecurities, it should theoretically be fine. Sylph of Space is an amazing classpect for the frog-breeding and universe shenanigans in general seeing as they can simply heal or patch up any anomalies. Geez, I just noticed you have THREE sylphs, okay.

Sylph of Breath is also great for healing the group if they ever feel limited, giving them a BREATH of fresh air. This'll be exceptionally useful in a supportive role, ensuring your group is at its full potential. Now, the Sylph of Rage is the cure-all for any naivity or carelessness in your session, being able to reason with people before they do anything rash. They're also able to let people's negative emotions out, which comes in handy if SOMEONE has been suppressing something for far too long.

And yes, that is about the Page of Heart. They'll have to go on a loooong journey towards greatness, being watched by one of the Sylphs probably so they don't lose hope. But if they do end up getting there, they can prove to be incredibly powerful especially in emotional affairs and identity crises that may or may not occur. Who knows.

Hello! You can call me HARMONY or LINEAN, or you can call me by my chumhandle, paralleledHarmony (PH). For the purpose of my persona, I am a Witch of Blood on here, but my actual classpect is that of a Thief of Time. I'm here to do exactly what's in my blog title, though maybe not exactly to a T. I make Classpect Analysis posts... daily! Or at least every week, depending on how busy I get. However, that's not all I do on this blog. I also tackle session analysis, quadrants, fraymotifs, lands, and everything SBURB related. Though, you're going to have to send me an ask first, as I'm mostly focused on posting classpects daily.

Anything else I make will probably be on my other blogs, notably my main: @prizmaticjewel where I mostly make art and other such comments. Originally meant to be a Homestuck blog in general, but I decided to commit to the bit as I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. WITCH OF HEART ANALYSIS

A Witch of Heart would be somebody who manipulates Heart. Witch is the class of active manipulation, breaking the bounds of their aspect and flipping it sideways to fit into their personal view. Heart is the aspect of emotions, identity, soul, and self-introspection within yourself. Together, that would make a person who can manipulate people's emotions and identity depending on their wants, somebody who can also empathize with just about anyone. They're extremely emotionally intelligent and can detect even the slightest change in demeanor, however this might not always be a good thing. They're also prone to be overthinkers sometimes, but despite this, they still pursue the best in people. They can get too controlling sometimes, and feel sort of off-putting to some.

It's hard being a people pleaser, isn't it? A Witch of Heart knows this... by heart. Their big challenge is using their influence for the benefit of others rather than for their own perfect world, taking in account everyone's situation instead of the one they have in their head. In general, they're just somebody who the crowd tends to follow because of their natural charisma, even if they don't really intend this to happen. If they don't follow their journey to become a better person considering this power they have in their hands, they could end up to be a pretty swell problem. But if they do, they could be an incredible asset, making themselves the glue of your session.

Feeling down? We can't have that when we're fighting the Dersite Agents. Luckily, the Witch of Heart has the power to turn that frown upside down for you. Emotion Manipulation is a part of their kit, so they can just make someone feel happy, sad, angry, whichever one would be most beneficial I guess. Since they're a Heart player, they also have the ability to manipulate identities, so they can really just turn someone from evil to good and vice versa. Another is Soul Manipulation and Splinters, merged into one because I feel they're related enough. They can manipulate the souls of others, removing it, replacing it, but maybe not creating it. That also comes with being able to manipulate their own soul (or souls?) to act as their sort of splinters. They can help the Witch in combat, support, moral advice?? Whichever truly helps them the most.

ohh i loved this one!!! i hope i ddint make this seem too negative though i know most people see witch of heart as a "positive" classpect, which is specifically what i wanted not to emphasize on bc i believe that all classpects are neutral and only the person wielding them are truly "good" or "bad".... thanks for the ask!

HEIR OF HOPE ANALYSIS

an heir of hope is somebody who invites/invites through hope. heirs are the passive class of invitation and change (or manipulate). their journey has them completely embodying their aspect by the end of it. hope is the aspect of faith, positivity, and belief that everything will turn out fine in the end! so, an heir of hope would be able to bring hope to their teammates, a very important role for sure. they would literally embody hope, beaming it through thick and thin. however, with their utmost optimism in life, they also need someone who can ground them. they can tend to be naive and gullible at times, which becomes an issue if they don't have anyone telling them better. their challenge is to keep their faith alive, no matter the challenges that press them. they also need to learn how to develop skepticism in order to protect themselves and others. (having a grasp on both hope & rage)

they'd have a difficult time trying to get used to the world's deceptive nature, and would often have to rely on others at first. so yes, they start off with a lot of hope that they MUST maintain for the good of everybody. sure, it's an exhausting job, but someone has to do it, and it should probably be the heir blessed with the optimism of an angel. they're a bit like the glue of their team, having to work extra hard to make sure everybody believes in themselves, and in the ability of their friends! they're also the glue in the way where everyone works together to protect them from harm at times.

the heir would be crazy powerful in sburb! imagine being able to inspire hope so powerful it could literally change the trajectory of events... basically, as long as the heir genuinely THINKS that everything will turn out fine and dandy, it will come true. this would be a great support role, having to stay on the sidelines and have the active classes fighting with the faith that they can beat their opponent no matter what. after all, the heir inspires and motivates! how they embody hope could manifest in becoming even more godly. example: according to hs proper, angels are a feature of the lands of players with the hope aspect. so... maybe they could be connected with such imagery, becoming a literal angel.

interesting ask! its weird because i had a bunch of thoughts about heir of hope before but when i got to writing this i totally drew a blank T_T so embarrassing.. . . so apologies if this is too short or if im repeating points, i tried my best hihihi..

KNIGHT OF LIGHT ANALYSIS

a knight of light is somebody who defends/defends with light. knights are the passive class of servitude above all, the perfect balance of offensive and defensive. light is the aspect of fortune, knowledge, luck, and relevance. therefore, a knight of light is someone who can defend others with their luck and knowledge of the world around them. they feel that they lack their aspect, so they hide behind a facade in an attempt to make themselves feel better-- imagining themselves as "unlucky" and kinda stupid! their big challenge is to get over this feeling of inadequacy and discover that they aren't just their negative traits, and that those traits that they've been focusing so much on might not even be there at all.

the knight is actually already pretty fortunate and intelligent, the only thing truly bringing them down is themselves. but once they get past that, its all smooth sailing from there! they can be a great ally to their team, being able to utilize their relevance and wisdom to become the ultimate strategizer! they're almost like a jack of all trades, being adept at fighting, critical thinking, and planning. all knight of lights are different of course, so this could vary from person to person... but truly they r very lucky to have their classpect hoo hoo!!

as for powers, they are already established to be good at combat at strategy. for example, a knight of light can exploit literal light and use it against their opponents in powerful waves! as depicted in homestuck proper, if you're lucky enough, you can turn the tides of battle in ur favor no matter how good your enemy is (and clearly the knight of light IS in fact that lucky.) a knight's powers is all about weaponizing. being able to hold your aspect in your arms, accepting it, and using it for the better.

this is twt oomfs request which i freaked out when i got it (despite doing it so late my bad queue stuff..) BC this is my ocs classpect and i fucking love her .. it was still hard to write though bc my oc is like the complete opposite of what youd expect from a knight of light so i couldnt even use her as a reference but whatever hope u enjoy yay

PRINCE OF TIME ANALYSIS

a prince of time is somebody who destroys with/destroys time. and oh my gosh, i cannot stress enough how DIRE this classpect is.. and that isn't exactly a compliment either. first, princes are the active destruction class of sburb. time is the aspect of death and well ... time! with that said, a prince of time would be able to destroy timelines and destroy with time. the prince would probably lack their aspect at first, dismissing their time and wasting their days away. however, this is something they find themselves dreading when it cascades into a bigger problem for them. this is an obstacle they have to face, and also counts as their big challenge: find a way to prioritize and control their destruction and ignorance of time.

their self-destructive tendencies certainly don't make this an easy task, as they are usually insecure about their aspect in particular, viewing it as something they lack. and so, they make up for it by orienting themselves in other ways, notably by parading around pretending to have a deeper grasp on their inverse, which is space. they'd be creative and grand. they'd have a tendency to view the bigger picture instead of focusing on the little details, which ends up backfiring on them. and so, that is why they end up regretting not focusing more on their aspect to begin with. the prince must be careful, they can't mess up now with the whole timeline riding on them!

sburb powers.. like all time players, time travel! but might be in a more unconventional way, as their main method of powers is more on destroying. they'd be able to destroy sections of time, maybe even being able to stop game-altering events before they screw anything else up. this could also be used for bad, as they'd also be able to stop GOOD events, like a player about to god-tier. however, even these are recipes for disaster. without stable time loops and a full understanding of time, the prince might just cause more doomed timelines than successful ones. as long as they learn to control their powers, they have the chance to be a powerful member of their team! (after all, being able to destroy certain events so they don't happen is incredibly op. all they have to do is learn how to do it consistently, for good, and stabley :o )
