There are times where Riley forgets about being super strong. Even after years. Sometimes he will accidentally rip a door off its hooks or dent a car while just walking by.

While living with Joan, Riley kept having panic attacks no one could help him with. He went looking to get a dog to help him with those attacks. When asking at the local shelter, they showed him Pearl. A black German Shepherd who was supposed to become a service dog but failed the exam and was now desperately searching for a home. Riley didn’t have to think long and adopted her right away.

Riley remembers his time in the force only vaguely. He knows he served in some way but can’t remember specifics. However, he does regularly have nightmares about what happened there. He keeps a journal next to his bed to write everything down as soon as he wakes up, hoping to put the pieces together like that.
