He was barely conscious and literally on the brink of death, but he still tried so fucking hard to get up, because he knew Ellie needed him. He didnāt want the last thing he did to be failing her again.

Palestine is a feminist issue. It's 100% an issue that global feminists should be tackling but it's interesting to see reports of infections from a lack of decent menstrual sanitation products and reports of a 300% increase in miscarriages in Gazans and all these "the future is female!!! Repro rights!!! No period shaming!!!!" libfems are silent. I can't say I'm surprised, this is just liberal white feminism to a T, but by God does this shit piss me off. Our inability to ease the suffering of Gazans going through traumatic periods, births, and miscarriages because of Israeli violence should have the whole world heaving.

I find it interesting seeing so much discourse about how showrunners donāt āunderstandā Ellieās character b/c they think they portrayed her as having a violent heart.
Sheā¦she does? Lol. If you play the games you know this. She is an extremely violent person. She is a killer.
I love the girl to death, and I sympathize with her motivations, butā¦she is a mass murderer lol.
She is violent and why shouldnāt she be? Sheās grown up in a world that basically demands violence of you for survival, and she takes it to new levels when she loses Joel. Not everyone would go on the violent, brutal rampage she goes on. Itās because she does have the capability for extreme violence. They are teasing that heavily in s1 to prepare viewers for her descent into violence in s2.
Love it or hate it, part 2 shows us the violence sheās capable of.
Her heart can be more than just one thing, itās good too in so many ways, itās why we love her so much. She loves passionately and fiercely and powerfully. But categorizing her as āviolentā absolutely doesnāt scream to me that the showrunners ādonāt understandā her characterā¦
Up to interpretation as is all things I suppose š¤·š¾āāļø

the barbie movie so perfectly encapsulates how little we care about ken because i didnāt even have a ken doll as a child. i had like 6 different barbies and only one of them had a boyfriend, and he was only ever an off screen presence in my productions. i would reference him and (occasionally) she would talk to him but never once did i even think about wanting a ken doll, even for the purpose of having a complete cast

Sometimes I get worried that the way and reasons I feel frustrated over homophobia makes me look like Iām just a sex craved lesbian
Because Iām not and obviously I value more then just that. But it feels like that aspect of my sexuality has never been MINE. So I get so defensive over it. Itās a porn category. A debate. Not treated as rock solid. Something I have to hide and be ashamed of. Something that took me a lot longer then lots of my straight peers to fully acknowledge. Something my childhood sexual trauma made harder for to access. Something that people use to paint me as a bigot or rude or mean or disgusting.
But goddammit, I LOVE breasts. I love vulvas. I love the female form. I love womenās bodies. I love kissing women. I love making them feel good. I love helping them reach those special feelings and touching them and I just get so unbelievably frustrated that this beautiful and natural part of who I am as an adult woman , an adult lesbian, gets so often stripped from me. Itās not fair.
I live in a world where women who date men never stop talking about them sexually and itās all well and good. I listened to SO many of my classmates talk about penis in-depth when I was in high school and it was no big deal. I mention boobs or vulva or vagina and itās a record scratch. Suddenly itās a conversation, a debate, my morals and personhood or being brought into question . I hate it.
